  When in firefox using Google maps and click on "EARTH", I get a window indicating that, to use the 3D, I have to install 21.0 Google Earth plugin with option click on 'Download '. Note: Firefox 21.0 and MAC OS 10.7.5 have all current software updates installed. Safari and Chrome are asking not for any plug-ins and 3D Earth option works very well. ANY HELP?

  Google Earth requires a graphic that comes pre-installed with Chrome and Safari plug-in. If Google Earth works on other browsers, install the Firefox plug-in is the solution. To install this on Firefox, download it from the prompt window, or go to https://www.google.com/earth/explore/products/plugin.html.

• ACORBAT Reader users cannot submit my form to me

  I created a form for use by the nine members of my team of brokerage. Some people have Acrobat Standard; but some have only reader. It seems as if users of reader are unable to submit the forms. When Reader users click on the button to the form back to me by email, they get an error message saying "this operation is not allowed."

  I searched online solutions, but can't find that fit this situation, given versions of Acrobat that are used: Pro XI (used by three of us with creative cloud), Standard X, (multiple) Player. Solutions that have been validated means to expand has changed within the registry; and solutions that don't involve not the register making suggestions for setting changes in Pro that do not yet exist in my version of Pro XI. (Go figure).

  It would be really nice to have this issue resolved once and for all. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

  You don't need to change the registry. It looks like the form is set up so that the full PDF is included in the shipment, instead of just the data in the form. To make this work with versions of reader before 11, the document must be enabled for the drive because the drive otherwise is not able to save a completed form. This won't be necessary if Reader 11 is used because it is able to save a non-active form (AcroForm, not XFA).

  -You cannot specify the name of the file which is presented.

  -You can save the file by using the value of a field, but that requires a level of the file script installed on each user's computer using this file.

• Submit the form with the return key?

  I have a www.bsatshirts.com login page form which does not allow you to connect without clicking on the "connect" button.  The question I have is; is there a way to define the return key to submit the form and hit the "connect" button?   your form uses javascript to do the click of an image to send the form. Use the send entry type for the return key to send the form:

• PHP problem with IE, but works with Chrome and Safari

  In Dreamweaver CS6, I created a html and a file php for an employment application online be sent by e-mail.  The views of html file fine in Internet Explorer, but when you select the button that manages php he think for a minute then back screen application with nothing entered.   PHP is a server side, scripting language, the problem must be with the code on the client side. Your form page has several validation errors:

  Most of this is probably due to your doctype does not match your markup. You must fix this.

  But I think the problem is that you use the culture attribute in the submit button that is only supported in HTML5.  Rather than use the two buttons, set the action in the form tag and give the visitor an option button to choose the location. Then have your script appropriate action based on the selected radio button.

• Submit the form with the answer in the new browser window

  Is it possible to set up a "submit" button so that it displays the answer in a separate browser window?  With an HTML form, I can do this using the target = "_blank", but not aware of such an option on a LiveCycle send button.

  If you can't do it, maybe there is another way to do what I need.  Users fill in the PDF data entry form and send the data to a servlet that returns an another (different) PDF.  My user can analyze this PDF file, you see a problem and to return to the data entry form to change what it is entered before the regeneration of the output.  However, at this time there my PDF of original data entry has disappeared.  I'm not using LiveCycle on the server.  Any ideas?

  Thanks a lot for your help on this Paul.  I decided to go with the approach of hostContainer despite my reservations.  Here is a simplified version of my servlet.  This version of simply parrots back the XML in a window separate.  I hope this helps someone.

• Cannot submit data using Smart View 11.1.2

  I have a 11.1.2 job planning environment windows 2008 (x 64) and I installed just the Smart View through the workspace. I am able to connect to planning and ad hoc analysis Essbase DataForms. But I am not able to present data. Every time I come into some number and say present, it gives off that cells with #MISSING. It's as if we're doing an update. This is the case in the Planning and Essbase.
  
  Suggestions, if there is something I have missed? It cannot be a bug because it's one of the most basic things that Smart View must do.

  No, can't submit sample-based either. Looks like a compatibility issue with Office 2002. In the Support Matrix, 2003 and 2007 only one is mentioned.

  I'm trying to stop a redirect page after submitting the form. I prefer to keep them on the same page but hide the div form and show a new div which says 'thank you '. I know that I need to use AJAX for this, but have not been able to make it work.

• Recipients of the form cannot save the form with their entry

  I guess I forgot something simple, but when I sent a test of my form (created in version 9) to someone, they could open and select boxes, filler text, etc, but cannot save their results. They received a message that the only way they could save their results was to print the form. Of course, what I'm after is a way for recipients to complete the form, save it, and send it to me with the fields filled in with their entry. What Miss me?

• Cannot save data forms

  I have a problem with save forms data to the Dev server, when I enter data and save it, it displays as saved but when I try to retrieve the data in Excel I don't see any data in there. I checked the mebers of the implicit sharing and scenario, everything seems to be ok. I was able to back up data and recover for the same members from another server.
  I don't understand why I'm not able to save the data for the same members on Dev?

  The data are well taken of essbase so that there must be, this points to a problem for the POV you have set up with your excel recovery.

  Oh so what happens if we had a special hot spot on the form... .the admins would open the form. Click the hot spot... one could ask for a password and then display the hidden field.

• Does anyone else have a problem with Adware/Malware with Chrome and Safari?

  Started having trouble there is 24 to 36 hours. It affects both my iMac and my Air. Pop-up windows whenever I try to click through an e-mail and within an application when I want to read on or click on a left/right arrow to display additional information.

  I upgraded to El Capitan OS on both. Have reinstalled the security provided by my ISP, Charter-spectrum suite. I'm REALLY frustrated!

  Browse the list of "applications" in the finder and find any number of malicious applications. whenever I'm fixing Mac of someone who is having this problem, I googled 'virus [application] '.

• Internal restricted forms with barcodes

  I have a form that I created that contains the bar codes.  It is strictly an internal form used by less than five people.  Both of us have the full Adobe Acrobat and three use Adobe Reader.  Those who use the drive cannot complete the form with the barcode.  Barcode in gray.  In research, there is a lot of information but none of it clearly.  What is the recommended way for me to produce a form for internal use limited containing bar codes that can be used? We simply print out the form at the station production, and the next station scans barcodes as part of their package.

  These bar codes can be read in the drive, but not modified, unless a special law is applied to the file first.

• Can show us some Alias names instead of names of Member on a data form?

  I created a data form with accounts on the rows axis dimension members. 10 members, instead of the full member names, I want to display names alias to 4 members. Is this feasible? If so, how?

  Between boxes of Dimension and member you can fins of a small icon (this is Dimension Properties). Click on that, you can select the alias of Member for your members.
