  I have been using Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium Mac UK since August 2013. Earlier this year, the software will not operate without a serial number. After using the serial number valid and legally obtained, I get the message that this serial number is not valid. Moreover, it happened as well using Adobe elements Combi 11 Mac. All this software is used on an iMac and a new Macbook Pro.

  I have a new computer and installed Acrobat Pro.  When I try to click on the PDF links in the browser, I get an error:

  I get the error 'cannot use adobe reader to view PDFs in your web browser.  Player will now stop.  Please exit your browser and try again"in Windows 7 x 32 and Windows 7 x 64 with Acrobat pro 8.1.7.  This occurs when you try to open a PDF file in Internet explore 8.0.760 or when I open a PDF file in Quickbooks 2008.  If I answer ok or cancel, the file opens normally.  If I open acrobat 8 first of all and then the pdf file opens as expected.  I also tried a copy of Acrobat reader, with no difference in the result.  Because this happens on two different computers a new copy of windows 7 x 64, the other, an upgrade to windows 7 x 32 and they used to work before moving to windows 7, I guess that there is some sort of incompatibility with windows 7 and acrobat.  Is this a known problem and will be fixed in an update to acrobat in the near future?

  I received the same notification when I installed CS6 on my machine.  I restarted Windows and got the same message, and then choose 'Ignore' and the software successfully installed.
