Cannot view Bcc recipients in Windows Live Mail sent mail

I have Windows Live Mail, Windows 7 OS, and IMAP gmail. I tried everything I can find to display the BCC recipients, and all I can see in 'Détails' is "undisclosed recipients". I tried Ctrl + F3 (which used to work when I had Outlook Express), I clicked on properties/details. Some instructions speak by clicking a down arrow that is supposed to be right at the top of a message, but I do not have this arrow. If someone has found a way to solve this problem, I'd love to hear about it.

If you don't know why, then WLMail used its default settings for Gmail accounts, which is IMAP.

POP3 download only new messages in the Inbox. IMAP synchronizes the contents of all folders (labels in Gmail) between client and server (WLMail and Gmail), so no matter what computer you access account to use IMAP, you will see the same messages in the same place.

I recently got a new computer running Windows 7.  I have Windows Live Mail and have tried to open the 'pdf' files attached to e-mails.  When I try to open them I get an error message.  I downloaded the file in the file management section for Adobe and Adobe.  How to open a PDF file without first having to save it on my computer?

HURT SO BAD!  I had the same problem - I tried the security options in Internet Explorer and Adobe, also the download of unassociate.exe that was put in place for users of Vista and used on the extension pdf without result.  IF YOU USE IT ON THE PDF AND PDFXML extensions, then open Adobe reader and click Help, repair drive installation it works!

Obviously, you cannot run your life by saving just to open attachments... Adobe has no answers on their site and find the file unassoc.exe on this Microsoft forum was the closest, I arrived to find an answer. When I tried the process a second time, I saw the PDFXML extension just below the PDF extension and took a shot at it.

Someone at Microsoft needs this fix to make accessible to all the users of Windows 7. I spent 3 hours on the phone with HP support, he tried the unassoc.exe and it did not work for him. I contact them to let them know about this - they put me on the phone with a Manager and he told me they had literally hundreds of phone calls about this.

  • cannot em youtube, etc. on windows live mail

whenever I want em a youtube or other I type in my hotmail address and the box appears "windows does not support addresses http blah blah" and download windows live mail.  I already have wlm, until I do now?

You probably want the 'MailTo' link managed by Hotmail webmail instead of Windows Mail. If so, apply this hotfix:

  • Cannot add new account to Windows Live Mail

Hello. I am trying to add a new e-mail in Windows Live Mail account. I'm in the screens to add, after trying both to let the program add the servers and add them manually. He seems to accept the account I receive the message successfully added, but then he adds in fact, i.e. it never appears on the homescreen by e-mail. I tried multiple accounts several times. Then, I removed the version preloaded on my WIndows 7 PC and reloaded from the Web site. Same result. Maybe I'm missing another file that is needed to make this work (although it would be weird). I also used the repair tool that appears when you choose to remove. I'm out of ideas. Anyone have any idea?

  • Cannot connect Hotmail account in Windows Live Mail

My hotmail account has been hacked, and it did not work on my desktop PC (in Windows Live Mail) since.  I can connect to the account of the internet, but not as I do usually Windows Live Mail.  How to operate again in Live Mail?

    [Original title: Live Mail]

    Hi Nelson,.

I'm sorry for the late reply.

Two-step verification helps to protect your account by making it more difficult for a hacker to connect, even if they have learned your password somehow.

Follow the steps below to turn off validation in two steps:

    1. go to https://account.live.com/ .

    2. click on the privacy security option, verify your account and verify that the options that says sign frequently on this unit. Can't me code.

    3. you will see two verification step, clear this option.

Once you're done, you can directly connect to Outlook.com and it will not ask for any code to verify your account.

  • Cannot send messages, either through Windows Live Mail. Same problem as others have.

I could send messages through Windows Live Mail until I downloaded the optional updates for Windows 7.  I'm not saying that is / it was the culprit, because I restored my system to an earlier time (before downloading the update) and still had the same problem.  I tried to install Windows Live Mail on another computer and have the same problems.  I'm not as computer warned as others, so any help would need to be relatively simple to follow.

Click once on the work online on the status bar so that it turns into working in offline mode, and then remove all messages not sent from the Outbox.

Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties. On the servers tab, make sure that my server requires authentication is selected, and then click Advanced tab change the port to 587 outbound mail server.

Compose a new message of test with a single topic and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.

  • Cannot open an attachment in Windows Live Mail 2012.

I can't open attachments in Windows Live Mail 2012.  On right click on it I just get the option 'open', not 'open with '.  I think that it may be trying to use a path or a program, but don't know how to change it.  Any suggestions?

It's weird, the Mail app does not keep a separate list of file associations, it should just pull some Manager by default is the type of file by name.  I agree with your idea, kill it and reinstall it and determine if it starts to behave properly.

  • Cannot add Contacts in my Windows Live Mail account.

  • Windows Live Mail Contacts problem...

    Hello...

    I could use some help.  : )

Background: I installed Windows Live Mail on your laptop Windows 8.1.  Apparently somewhere during the process of adding additional e-mail accounts - Gmail account more specifically he asked do you want to include contacts.  I said yes!  Error!  It resulted in each contact showing 2 times on my Windows 7 laptop running Windows Live.

Question: I have now each contact in my list of contacts twice.  It says 'address book' under the name and can be edited.  The other has no indication, and my best guess is that it's the Gmail account contact.

That's what I see on laptops respective...  1.) 8.1 portable Windows - people shows only 1 time contact.  (2.) for laptop Windows 7 - Windows Live shows each 2 times contact

Tried: 1) software, Windows Live has two contacts.  2.), remove all contacts in Gmail, Windows Live still has these two contacts.

I'm at a lost how do I solve this problem...  Thanks for your help.

    Sandi

I do not believe that your explanation of how this happened is quite accurate. If you add an e-mail account in Windows Live Mail, there is no question of whether contacts should be included - email and contacts are completely separate processes in Windows Live Mail.

If you see contacts in Windows Live Mail, which are not ' of address book ", then you must be signed in to Windows Live Mail with a Microsoft Account (which could be your Gmail account). If this account is connected to Google, Google contacts will eventually synchronize with Windows Live Mail. You cannot change these contacts in Windows Live Mail.

To break the connection, click on the rightmost button on the home Ribbon tab and select view account information. Sign in to your account again, and then click permissions.

    1. click on services and applications Manage.
    2. click on Edit in the connected Google service you want to remove from your account
    3. click on remove this connection completely.
    4. click on Remove.

Back in Windows Live Mail. Click again on the button to the right and select sign out of Windows Live Mail. Wait a few minutes, and then click New and connect. Check your list of contacts.

  • How to send undisclosed recipeients in windows live mail

How can I send emails to "undisclosed recipients" using windows live mail?

In a new message window, put the recipients in the BCC field. If you see it, in the right of the field, click Show CC and BCC.

I always put my own address in the field, as some ISPS and possibly beneficiaries have unwanted mail settings will not allow a message without a legitimate address in the field.
