computer inheirerted of father and you want to restore the factory installed vista system but do not know the password of admin fathers
Hello
You should not have a password to reinstall Vista.
Microsoft prohibits any help given in these Forums for you help bypass or "crack" passwords lost or forgotten.
Here's information from Microsoft, explaining that the policy:
There are several methods to reinstall Vista.
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Wireless card not working after a clean install of Windows Vista
I did a clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion of 32 bits. I've completely updated Windows via Service Pack 2. Given that the clean install, my wireless card, Intel (r) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, was not able to detect all the networks. The Wifi card is listed under NICs as being installed and activated. the hardware on my laptop Wifi switch is set on "on" and the light is blue, indicating that the card is working.
I can connect to the internet if I connect physically my computer to the modem with an ethernet cable wireless, so the modem isn't the problem. Other computers can connect to the wireless modem, so my Wifi modem functionality is not the problem. The problem with my computer.
I tried to uninstall the Intel driver and reboot my computer with the generic driver. Install the driver generic, but my wireless card has not always worked. I then ran an update of windows, nothing helps.
I tried to install the "Intel® PRO /? Wireless and WiFi Link"drivers for Windows Vista (32-bit 13.1.1.1 the latest version and the previous version 12.4.4.5 32-bit) for the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN directly from the Intel Web site at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+WiFi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Wireless+WiFi+Link+4965AGN. The map didn't always work with a driver.
In addition to the pilots, I also downloaded a tool of diagnosis of Intel (Intel® PROSet /?) Utility of WiFi wireless connection for Windows Vista 32 -? Bit). Said diagnostic tool the WiFi card is not installed or enabled, however, Device Manager maintains that he is also installed and active.
Is there a problem that causes Device Manager to say that all is well with the card, but does not map to realize that they diminish the radio signals? Everything's fine, diagnostic, it just does not detect networks around him. Help, please.

Installed Win7-64, but can not find the multimedia Audio and video drivers.
I bought a used m7100y CTO with Media Center 2005 PRE-INSTALLED. The pilots were also missing. A clean install on Win7-64, but has not found drivers for multimedia Audio or video. Software downloads show only an update of the Lightscribe driver. Where can I find missing drivers?
Hello:
The audio, which you can get here...
Accept the agreement, download and install the file 2nd on the list.
The graphics... all he says is that the graphics card is integrated. I would say it was the Intel GMA 950, which should be installed by Windows.
Try this driver and if it does not, click on the VGA card in Device Manager, and then click the Details tab.
In the property drop-down list, select the second element (Hardware ID).
After the first string of characters you see in the window.
Who will give me more info on the model of the video card in your PC.

As the forums MS Answers does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system. Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.
Please provide additional information on your system:
Learned what was this upgrade and what that they upgrade/do to the system?
What is your system brand and model? What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work? You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?Do you see that you think not you should see and when you see it?What do not you think that you should see?Your system seems to start OK and then crash or didn't he start not at all?If your system works fine, what do you think might have changed since the last time it worked correctly? Can you make the system crash when you want? For example, you would say that there is no specific system activity that coincides with the accidents (like watching videos, playing games, etc.).The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters. If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you. We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like. Now provide more information about your system and data against more recent accidents.Click Start, run and enter in the box:Msinfo32Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here. For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here. There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information. This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.Download BlueScreenView here (WhoCrashed is OK, but I have instructions for ASB).Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files. If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.Sometimes BlueScreenView will involve XP files as being the cause of the accident (ntoskrl.exe, win32k.sys, hal.dll etc.) but they are probably not the real cause of the accident (BSV is doing the best he can). You will need to either pick up some example crashes over and look through them, or find somewhere the XP files are not the 'cause' or you can upload your files to your SkyDrive crash dump and someone with the windows debugging tools can help take a look at them more closely.
Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files. Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt.Open BSOD.txt with a text editor Notepad, WordPad, etc.), select all (Ctrl-A), copy all the text in the Windows Clipboard (Ctrl-C) and paste the text to the Clipboard (Ctrl-V) back here in your next reply.
