cant' print text boxes

I added text boxes by using the function of "Fill & Sign" but now when I print the text boxes aren't there.  Even though I changed the border and text in one of the Red to black, that he doesn't always have to print.  I would be grateful all experience that someone had to do this work.  Thank you.

Hi angiechurch,

Please select the Document and margins to the title of the comments and forms in the print dialog box. It is just above the Preview Panel.

Let us know if this solves your problem.

Kind regards

  • Presence of a text box

I have a small question for you.  I have two text boxes on a form that I created in LiveCycle Designer, I want to be visible on the screen, but not when the form is printed.  I have the presence of these text boxes the value 'Visible (display only)', but they always print.  How can I keep these printing text boxes?

    Hello

Add this script on the event before printing of the text box that is not visible on the printed form.

    This.Presence = "invisible";

and add this script on the event post printing of the same text box to make it visible after printing

    This.Presence = "visible";

  • When I print a table (multiple pages) the text box under the table seems to be moving under the table and prints with the table of this overlap. My only solution is to push the text box further down the page before printing... Any advice?

Im having problems shaped a text box so that my table does not print right on top of it. I want it inside of my table (it's 'tems and conditions' budget)

    Any advice would be great.

I face the same problem as well. Would like to know if there is a better way to get the text box to move with the table instead of the effect that overlap. Have to manually adjust the layout, whenever I want to get a reasonable print of a document (or export it to PDF) seems counterintuitive, especially when it causes the document seem ill-disposed on screen.

I am running version 3.6.2 of the numbers in the case where that matters.

  • PSC 2175 Print gray boxes behind the text

Recently this HP PSC 2175 printer has been printing gray background behind all the text boxes.  It comes from occurring when printing from Windows, launching a test print to options for control panel of the printer, or clear text copy.  See the examples below.

I have already been through a gambit of the typical diagnosis and determined that there must be something internal that is false because this behavior occurs even when the computer is not used.  This isn't a matter of dirty heads print or alignment.  The HPPSdr.exe did nothing, but check that the printer works.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thank you

  • Print form fields don't all of the information in the text box

I work with Adobe Pro.  I created a form to fill out.  When you print this form I get all the information in the text boxes that you want to print.  Anyone out there know how to do this?

You must set the size of the font of the auto field so that all the text is visible on the screen, and then it will appear in its entirety on the printed page.

  • Text boxes do not print

  • Cannot print the added text box

When I add a text box to an existing pdf document and save the file (with Acrobat X Pro), the text box does not print or appear on the preview (for a printer HP or Acrobat) Panel.  I can print successfully from the text box in the pdf file saved using Adobe Reader.  Any ideas about what could prevent Acrobat X Pro to print this text box reader finds (and prints) without effort?

In the print dialog box, select Document and markup under Forms & comments rolling. It is just above the Preview Panel. Then it should work...

Feel free to post back the results.

  • Printing of text in a text box in a form

    Hello

I created an application for people to fill out. Part of the form is a text box that requires a description. The problem is that sometimes people will type more than I have size on the text box in the form. You can read all the information when you have the document open in Adobe by scrolling down in the text box, but when you print it, it will only print the size of the text box. Is it possible to get it to print in its entirety?

Of course, I could enlarge the text box, but at least I have engulf the entire page, I know not that I'll still encounter this problem. To continue the application appealing to watch I prefer to keep the text box, the size it is and keep my fingers crossed that Adobe has a function that will accommodate it.

    Thank you!

You will need to rearrange your form and subforms so that they can be moved accordingly.

The parent subform that you put the textField object must be defined as Flowed as well as the first.

Take a look in this example, see if it helps:

  • How to make a text box in Acrobat 9 Pro, which does not print?

I have a pdf file I created with text fields. My sales representative wants a text box that was inserted on the top of each of the 2 pages with instructions you can view, but will not be displayed after you fill out the form and print it. This has been done before by a colleague who works here and I don't know how she did it. Can someone help me?

I use Acrobat 9.3.2 on a Mac. Thank you.

Yes, it must be a form field.

  • Brochure - is a too simple text box and it will cause issues with printing?

    Hello

I'm on a timeline that is tight with very limited experience InDesign and I edit a template for a trifold brochure.

I mostly just replaced the text and pictures, but in a few places, I need to add text. My question is if I need to apply paragraph or character styles or if I can just create the text in a text box with normal and content headers. It will be sent to a printing press so I make sure it's going to look right and I don't want whether amateur or take shortcuts, but here learning curve is steeeeep! It's really me stressed out, and I'd have the time to learn all aspects of the application in order instead of choosing.

Paragraphs will look something like this:

The position type type type type

type type type type type type type type

and there are 5 of them on the column on the left of a brochure. I am well aware, I'm over my head here, but I'm trying to make happen and do it right. Sorry if this is Cringe and thanks for any input.

Added text that is style without paragraph styles or character won't affect printing.

    Do what you do.

Then, make sure that you use file > package to assemble all the elements of your layout, including the fonts to send to the printing press.

Or, if you send a PDF file, ask the store what PDF preset you use.

    You should be OK.

    And breathe!

  • HP Deskjet 1510: Printing can not see the characters in the text box

my printer cannot print text but it prints the pictures ok

    Hi derrylahan,

We will first determine if any black ink comes out of your printer.

This document describes how to check the ink levels and how to print an alignment page.  You should check you have black ink in your cartridge and you should see black on the alignment page printing.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-DeskJet-1510-all-in-one-printer-series/5157551/document/c03803074/

If you do not see the black ink on the page, you should do a cleaning of the cartridge.

If you still haven't black ink, you may have to replace the ink cartridge.

Let me know how the printer performs on these alignment pages.  If black ink prints fine on this page, this indicates a problem with the selection of the driver or settings.

I installed a new printer cartridges and now my printer does not print any text, but test pages show the color bars and text boxes, but no word at all. It worked perfectly until I changed the cartridges. Any suggestions?

    Hi Robert,

This problem can be caused if the ink cartridge is not properly installed or malfunctioning in the print heads.

    1. what application you use to print?

    2. have you tried to print with another document or file?

    3. is installed correctly in the printer ink cartridge?

Follow the steps in the link below to check if the new cartridge is installed correctly.

  • The text box to define a start page is greyed out and I can't change the start page.

When I go to the Options screen, the "Mozilla Firefox Start Page" text box is gray and unchanging. If I navigate to a page, and then set that as my start page, close and restart Firefox back to the Firefox/Google homepage - my homepage setting is not saved.

I tried to reset Firefox, restart with Add-ons disabled, even delete and recreate a new profile, but he always does.

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

Please report back to see if this helped you!

  • I can't and never been able to open a file that was previously saved on hard disk by selecting the print option to get in the print dialog box

I can not and never been able to open a file that was previously saved on hard disk by selecting the print option to get in the print dialog box. Firefox displays gooblygook, even if the name of file is an html element, the Notepad of Windows crashes, MS Excel does not recognize the file type. MS Word also displays goobblys when the file has no file extension.

If you use the file printing, then you will get a file that is supposed to be sent to a printer, and this file has any sort of code formatting for this printer.

Open such a file in Firefox or a text editor can only work if you use one printer for text to print the file to, then make sure that such a printer is installed and selected.

  • B210a will not print text

Since the purchase of this printer less than a year ago, I had several printing issues.  The original gave me such an adjustment, I brought back to the place of purchase after a few days for a replacement.  Initially, the replacement seems to work fine (I got it networked with my home network).  After a few months, it wouldn't scan.  I spent many hours on the phone with support through mutiple and finally freezing procedures and reinstall everything.  Once all was said and done, it seems to work fine... for a while.

Then he started giving me intermittent problems with printing.  Sometimes, when I went to print, I would get the "eprint" message not available  If I cancelled and let the printer sit awhile, it would print later.  I started to get the message so often, I opted to use the usb connection and that seemed to work... for a while.  Finally I could print at all, the message of "eprint" unavailable each time.

In the last days of work on my current problem, I used the print and scan doctor, made multiple adjustments, uninstalled/reinstalled it, nothing is.  The doctor print and scan says it all is fine, but after this last problem (do not print text), pages of printed report in print and scan doctor show only black outline boxes, solid colored boxes and boxes of blue outline, all very vibrant prints, but no text at all.  I tried to print a text-only document and the printer responds but does not print anything.  He continues to analyse very well from my computer and via the LCD screen.  I continue to use the USB only, because of all the problems of network with this printer.

I don't consider myself like a fool technology, and I know that I'm not an expert by any means.  I had years of experience using several brands of the technology to accomplish my own ends, but I am at my wits end with this printer.  I have never reached this level of frustration before and have always been able to get the issues resolved.  Not the case with this one.  Someone at - it give me advice for me before I got with this printer and return to my previous printer brand?

Although it may seem that the pritner prints in black it is actually not - in the test page, the boxes around the area of ink levels are printed with a combination of color inks to make black.  Please follow the procedure described in my previous post.

You can check that the black is not printing by printing a test page to as the Six Solution, you will see that documents to be reproduced in black are empty.
