HP deskjet 1051

Hi, I bought the printer Hp deskjet 1051 events of Black Friday at Wal-Mart, a year and I seemed to have lost my disk to run, my question is how can I get another one for my deskjet working again?

Hi Frank,.

You don't need your original disk to install the software for your printer.

I recommend you go to page download driver found here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Deskjet-1050-All-in-One-Printer-series---J410/4027462/model/5113808/drivers?cc=us&lang=en

In this way, you will get updates of pilot that has occurred since you bought your printer.

Let me know how it works for you.

I have a HP Deskjet 1051 J410 and cannot print because I updated to Windows 10. I ran the store & under details, he says he detects a problem, but does not say what it is. The printer appears under devices & Printers & said it working properly & has the updated device driver. I have updated the driver from the HP website, but it says driver 1050 instead of 1051. The printer does not appear under Apps > HP anywhere. I removed the

PRI friendship & reinstalled the HP site I don't have the disk. The USB Port has disappeared after that. So I know that it is not connected to the right port, because it is no longer an option under ports to connect to. A details page of the printer did print at some point, but I can't print from Office, etc. I unplugged the printer from the back & the output. This back in & connected to my laptop HP Presario CQ62 plugged. I restarted my laptop a couple of times. Nothing works. I have also no error message. Can anyone help please?

Thank you or all of your great suggestions. I ended up doing a repair of Windows 10 installation & that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks again!

  • HP Deskjet 1051: HP Deskjet 1051 set preferences

I don't know how to set my preferences for my HP Deskjet 1051.  I want to print on both sides of the paper, and I don't see where it says that in the settings.  Can someone tell me please how to do this?  Thank you.

    Hi @cleo44,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you do not want to print on both sides of the paper with your HP Deskjet 1051 and the Windows 7 operating system.

After taking a glance at your User Guide on Page 10, it says:

' NOTE: you can print your document on both sides of the paper, instead of one
side. Click Advanced on the paper/quality or the tab layout. Of the
Pages to print menu choose print odd Pages only. Click OK to print.
After the odd numbered pages of the document were printed, remove the
document from the output tray. Reload the paper in the paper tray with the White side
facing upward. Back to the Pages to print drop-down list and select print even
Pages only. Click OK to print. »

  • The Deskjet 1051 does support Linux?

    Hello

The Deskjet 1051 does Linux support via the HPLIP software? I bought this printer. Thank you very much.

As far as I now, this should work, the F behind the product number is just the specific productnumber to the 1051, then j410 indicates a 1050 and j410f a 1051.

    Hello

Software Deskjet 1050 does not include OCR functionality as part of the HP software, you may not use any software 3rd party to this effect:

Some editions of Microsoft office offer OCR capabilities as part of the software (for example, Microsoft Office Document Imaging [CHANGE] in Office 2003 or 2007, Microsoft OneNote in Office 2010)

Or any other 3rd party software like Reas Iris OCR as example.

    Kind regards

  • HP deskjet hp Solution Center 1051

I am trying to print envelopes and my printer prints off images on the side. I know not how to solve the problem, but unfortunately so do I need to go to "HP solutions Center" and I have not installed on my computer. I'm running on Windows 7 and that you have installed the full download of features for my printer. How to center of HP solutions now because it did not come with my install?

    Hey,.

These options, if they are available in the driver for the Deskjet 1051, are accessible without having to go through the solution Center.

    • Click the start menu on Windows 7 PC

    • Select the devices and printers

    • Right-click on the Deskjet 1051 installed

    • Select print options

    • Select the paper/quality tab or similar (I don't have this printer available to perform a test installation and view options)

    • Look for an option similar to the one mentioned by Praveen_David custom paper size

If these options are not available in this section, you may need to use another driver with the option for custom paper sizes.  Research on the product specifications page, I found that the printer uses PCL3 GUI for printing language.  This means the Deskjet 9800 driver built-in to Windows Update will be compatible with the Deskjet 1051.  Deskjet 9800 driver has built in custom paper size options.

Click here to access a thread with information on how to exchange for a different driver such as the Deskjet 9800 driver.

Let me know how it goes.

Recently bought a HP all-in-one Deskjet 1051.  After you have installed on the computer, he enrolled as a series of J410 Deskjet 1050 all-in-One.  I was wondering why.

The numeric designation may vary according to the regional location or the retailer where the product was purchased. It can also link in how the product as the default value of different media formats, for example in North America with paper letter against Europe with A4 size. What it boils down to is that your printer is a Deskjet 1050 printer specific specialized series for a retailer or the country.

  • Printer not print

I recently got a new computer which has Windows 8.1 on it. My printer is a Deskjet 1051 all-in-one and it will not print anything. Any suggestions on what I need to do to fix this?

I suggest blocking off the PC, turn the printer off, unplug the USB cable between them.  Then start the computer, then turn on the printer, then reconnect the USB cable.  Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are in place.

Then, run the diagnostics of printing.
