Captivate 5 - inserted the Fireworks PNG images are pixilated

PNG images, that I inserted Fireworks appear pixelated when I play the file in a browser, but air well while I work in Captivate.  Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Birgit

Hello

You post with what quality of slide? I guess you haven't created PNG24 images with FW, the default slide quality is 8-bit. Try to substitute the quality of the blade when publish and use high quality (24 bit).

When I'm in split mode, I can't see my pictures.  I think it is due to the fact that the server my images are now only support connections made on TLS version 1.2.  Is there a setting in DreamWeaver, I can change to take account of my images be seen?  Then I see mode live view but not in the edit view.  I use DreamWeaver CS5

It's normal when you are in mode split with Code and design, while the external use referenced images. There is no setting to fix it.

As a work around, I normally keep a copy local images in a file of site when working on an html email, then just before the code for the e-mail service hovers over, I'll do a quick search & replace to add the absolute paths for images server copies.

Live View mode should show images correctly, but editing is not possible in DWCS6 although later versions now have an editor in Live mode.

  • PNG images are converted to the size of huge files

    Hello

I used InDesign and Word to generate subtitle images that I put then in first CS6 in the form of PNG images with alpha channel. So I have 800 + PNGs in a folder in my project, and I'm carefully their calendar on my video track as a base image. As I'm trying to change my project, I get a message no. hard drive space left. I check my HD and I went to have 600GB of storage to 100MB. I discovered that most (not all) of my 20-30kb PNG images have somehow converted into 2-4 GB a piece when the first is open! I have recorded the images so that they are open first to Kbs, and immediately I look all slowly convert them to these huge file sizes. Please can someone explain what is happening? And how can I remedy this situation?

I'm on a Mac OS X 10.10.5. Adobe CS6. The files are named "legends # .png ' if it makes a difference (so it's a bit like a sequence). My video is 45 minutes long with many discounts, graphics and audio samples at HD1080 containing approximately 8.5 GB media. The project file is around 53 MB.

I tried to use for the parser in the metadata tab for legends, but I decided against it, because I don't like the style and the lack of control of the legends in the first. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I get a message when I want to quit smoking that first is save metadata. 20,000 x it might first save metadata in each of my PNG images that would make is it original size? Help, please!

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

  • Difference between Fireworks PNG vs Flattened PNG?

    Hello

I want to save my image as a PNG image, however, Fireworks gives me the option to save as a "PNG Fireworks" or a "flattened" PNG What is the difference?

    Thanks in advance!

File PNG is a raster format, but Fireworks png document maintains the vector object information. Another essential difference is the presence of information related to the layers, Pages and States present in the Fireworks PNG files.

  • BlackBerry smartphones broken image in the media, photos, images icons

Peripheral is installed last BB Desktop Manager and Roxio BB9000 to manage image files that initially, I got 5 photos loaded into the BB9000 and could see very well in the media, photos, images, I then took 2 pictures with the camera BB9000 and saved. They came very well in all the images in media, photos, I then used Roxio, launched from the BB Desktop Manager to remove these 2 photos of the BB9000 and everything seemed to be fine as Roxio showed the 5 original images as present in the home, user, file photo when I disconnected the BB9000 and accessible Media, photos, images There are now 5 images and 2 broken icon thumbnails. Then I activated the mass of home media, Options, memory, I then connected the BB9000 via USB (to stop BB Desktop Manager at this point) and open the disk (in my case G:\) in Explorer. I clearly see 5 images in the original folder and each of them can be opened through Explorer. Then I unplugged the USB cable and this time there are 4 icons image shattered by the media, photos, images, while the 5 original images are still all there. An image has been duplicated (called trail.jpg) and if I delete one using the BB9000, probably both will disappear but for the moment, did nothing. If I select one of the broken image in media, photos, images icons and select Remove, a prompt appears "the selected file is read-only. Are you sure you want to delete? ». By selecting Yes, does nothing. The image remains a broken image icon. How does it evolve?

This seems to be that the actual image file has been removed, but the bbthumbs.dat file still has the image in his thumb nail index.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

After the reboot, give him five minutes to rescan the media card.

Now, see if the thumbnail image broken remains.

  • Impossible to open an application, because it requires to insert the original disk!

It's hard to explain, but I just installed a mapping program that installed fine.

Problem is that the program requires insert the original disc whenever using the program.

When I try, the program does not recognize the disc.

When the same program is installed on a real PC it works fine. Of course, this is not my goal.

Hope that someone has had a similar problem and can help.

    Thank you

Looks like that the McAfee antivirus ISO remained mounted and is a known issue in the Fusion 2.0.0 Release Notes.

Just select player physics using the Virtual Machine > menu CD/DVD to force him insert the disc that you are trying to use.

  • Is the directory of images 4.1 backward compatible with 4.0?

I use the same pages of HTTP server of databases running APEX 3.0, 3.2, 4.0, and soon 4.1. Usually, I have install images in separate directories and create a new alias dads.conf to point to it. This requires anyone upgrading to a new version to edit all their applications to point to the new alias. So I was wondering if the 4.1 images are a superset of the 4.0 images. 4.0 apps will still work fine if you use 4.1 library images?

    Thank you!

    Hello

APEX 4.0 apps won't work if you replace the existing files by 4.1 files.

  • How to ensure the background page images display correctly?

Can someone point me in the direction of any good articles or tutorials that explain how to ensure that background image of page display properly in all (or almost!) browser screen widths?  I'm talking about the kind of images are larger, which fill or almost fill the entire screen - if I size them properly for mine (big portable computer screen), that they be not stretched in the lower screen resolutions.

    Hello

I downloaded your html (with my changes to css and images here - http://www.pziecina.com/Untitled-1.html.)

    What is the desired effect?

Regarding the problem with the image resizing in IE, is because IE8 and below require a height for the background image, (not so important with photos but necessary for graphics), otherwise the image when resizing the browser keeps the displayed initial height (see css).

I also changed the image Center positioning as you have this game to focus on it.

Css3 background image rules have also been moved under the IEFilters, it is mandatory for IE9, or IE9 would apply to the IEFilter and not the rule css3.

I would like to know if it works for you.

  • Captivate 4, import the image doesn't have a transparent background

I'm going dotty with import image Captivate. I have 2 Hemera Photo objects 5000 image and Images Business development programs. When I export on their part to TIFF, GIF, PNG etc. and import into Captivate the PNG has a transparent background, which is great. That is until I saw my project or publish to SWF then the grey background.

Is it possible to import the image in order to keep a transparent background in Captivate? It takes the images appears behind text or other images and must have a transparent background. I can't do this project without pictures. For example the picture below:

Can anyone help please?Wallet PNG 2.png

    Hello

When you import images into Captivate 4, you are able to choose the color to make transparent. Have you tried selecting specifically?

To do this, insert the image and get in the slide. Double-click it so that you see the Image Properties dialog box. Follow what is described in the chart below:

Click on image to see larger size.

  • Can you have folders in you folder of images and the images are visible?

Can you have records in your image folder and the images still be seen? I have a graphic file with images and they can be seen on the site, however if I insert files in the pictures folder, the images are not displayed, are what I did or is not possible with dreamweaver?

    I.e. graphic > pendants > outdoor shots.

Inside or the other of the two last records images do not appear on my site!

Images can be shown no matter where they are in your site. The only downside is that you have a working image link.

For example, Graphic/Pendants/Exteriors_Shots/myImage.png note underscore in the path. This is because many browsers interpret too much space. This means that your subdirectory should be renamed accordingly.

  • Using the .png images in a website?

As new'ish Fireworks and the .png format I'm really amazed at the quality of the png in a Web page and how to maintain their quality. In web design, I tend to like placing them text from images and this can often have quality problems as text tends to not work to well with a jpeg file, unless you increase the resolution before hand.

I found while I edit an image in FW and place the text on an image, if I save in format jpeg the image maybe not as clear as I would like, if I keep as a .png, the quality is perfect.

I know why it is, but some research have found are that .png still not universally used in web browsers may be and so it is advisable to not use.

Some forums say that they are very well while others say otherwise by using ' png in web design, does anyone have ideas on this?

I want to use the .png in my web design instead of JPEG files, but am undecided what I read on the Internet so would appreciate any thoughts you might have about this.

    Thank you very much, Pete.

So in conclusion is safe and acceptable to use a PNG25 in web design instead of a JPEG file?

    Summary:

Do not use editable Fireworks PNG document - it's bigger it needs to be. Instead, export to:

    1. PNG24 (has no transparency) - Yes, you can use it at any time.
    2. PNG8 (256 colors, transparency authorized (a)- Use it if your image is completely opaque or your semi-transparent pixels are not necessary (Internet Explorer 6 makes it completely transparent).
    3. Png32 (a complete transparency) - requires special encoding of HTML/CSS in Internet Explorer 6 (current version is 8), but IE6 can still lock up. If you are not concerned about IE6 visitors.
  • Cannot insert/overwrite/drag / drop the titles or images

Then, I work on an editing tool (a trailer) and took two days off of the edict.  I'll be back today with the intention to complete inter titles and when I finished; I tried to drag in the timeline and nothing happened.  I tried to insert and replace but neither worked either.  I thought it was a problem of title so I opened some of the rushes to see if they would enter the timeline as a test; they don't either.

Premiere Pro opens normally, I don't have any warning and everything works alternative for the most important part - put items in the timeline panel.  I can play with the images currently in the timeline; but I can't add anything else.  The necessary video tracks are highlighted, so I am completely baffled the problem.  Is there some kind of update, that I missed?
