Captivate 8: hide the bookmark TOC

Hello

In fact, I work with Adobe Captivate 8 product. I use the default table of the contents of the table of contents. If autonomous learning is enabled, users can set bookmarks in the navigation bar (see the image, the blue icon dark under the title "Navigation").

Where can I remove this function? Thank you for your help.

In the CPM.js file find:

d = cp.toc.loadedAssetArr.fullBookmark;

and replace with:

d = cp.toc.loadedAssetArr.blankBookmark;

  • Captivate 5: hide the playback in embedded animation bar

    Hi all

    I'm creating a Captivate quiz in which I need to a play button appears in the display. When the user clicks the play button, it switches to a stop button, but at the same time, he plays a music video. To avoid having music playing in my quiz until the user chooses to play, I created the button as its own animation Captivate - 2 images, the first contains the play button and the second contains the stop button and music - and I have inserted in my animation quiz. Given that this animation is supposed to look just like a 'play' button and not as an animation, I need to hide the playback bar. From this forum, I learned how to turn the PlayBar using Action "OnEnter: assign: cpCmndShowPlaybar with 0. However, when I insert animation play button in my biggest animation quiz, even if I can't see the PlayBar, I see a grey bar where would the buttons of the PlayBar. Is it possible to hide this gray bar too? Or is there a better way for me to create a button that plays and stops at one file audio on command, other than what actually an embedded animation?

    Thanks for any advice,
    Karyn

    Hello

    Change the width of the bottom border in the skin Editor. Here is a screenshot. Normally with the default bar reading that this border is 31 pixels, if you do not use the playback bar you may uncheck the border or (as in the screenshot) to maybe 1 pixel.

  • Hide the bookmark on the Navigation bar button

    The Bookmarks button has disappeared from the Navigation toolbar from a recent update of FF. As if by magic, it reappears when I select "toolbars" but disappears when I click on 'Done '. All the others are very good!

    I dragged to different and even "restored by default' positions, but he won't return.

    Any ideas people? See you soon

    Vista + FF10.0

    You see only the bookmarks menu button if the menu bar is hidden (view > toolbars or Firefox > Options).

    If the bookmarks toolbar is visible then the bookmarks Menu button appears on the bookmarks toolbar, among other items in the toolbar of bookmarks (bookmarks).

    If the bookmarks Menu button appears on the right side of the Navigation bar.

  • Captivate 5: hide the playback for a specific slide bar

    Is it possible to remove the bar reading and its controls to a specific slide to ensure that the user (after reading some information) necessarily must click on a button to go to the next slide?

    For example: I built a production in which the quiz questions appear at certain intervals. I don't want the user to skip the question slides and proceed just click on the Play button. I want that they to select an option and click on the Submit button, which then leads to the next slide. So is it possible to hide the PlayBar to these slides only?

    Hello

    You have configured by action 'Enter' to the first Question slide hide PlayBar? So it makes sense that the action you set up 'Leaving' review slide (think you point to the slide of Score here?) is devastated when you re-enter the first slide of the question.

    Could you try to hide the bar just before reading the first Question slide, slide "output on" slide just before the first Question? I think it would work, since this slide will not visited again when you return to the first slide of the Question for review. In this case, the action triggered on leaving the Score slide has an effect. Did not try, am a rush, please obtain if it does not work.

  • How to permanently hide the bookmarks toolbar?

    Some time around the beginning of this month, Firefox has jumped to the top of my bookmarks toolbar. It had been hidden since then. I thought it was an add-on that I recently installed to do this, but when I disabled all addons I had just installed in the last two days, the remains of the question.

    Every time I start firefox, my bookmarks toolbar is open. I don't use it, because I have customized firefox to my bookmarks with my navigation bar. I right click on the taskbar and select this option to hide, but he returned when restarting. I can avoid the problem by moving all of the Navigation toolbar on the toolbar using the toolbar of bookmarks instead and bookmarks, but I can't solve the problem. I just reinstalled Firefox that I've upgraded to Windows 8 (starting from Windows 7), and the problem persisted.

    If this is supposed to be a new feature in Firefox, it's boring.

    Here are my addons in case it helps identify the problem:
    Adblock Plus 2.1.1
    Load tabs progressively 1.6.1
    NoScript 2.4.8
    QuickDrag 2.1.3.23
    Reddit improvement Suite 4.1.2
    Scriptish 0.1.7
    Favorites more intelligent 1.1 bar
    Snap Links Plus 2.2.1
    elegant 1.2.6
    YTshowRatings 1.0.4

    No, this isn't a new feature in Firefox. More like something caused by an add-on that has changed.

    This extension has been updated July 7 - who could have at the start of your problem?

    Is attached a screenshot of Mozilla Firefox 42 on my Windows 7 PC. I like having the bookmarks bar, but want to remove the foreign text following at the top of the sidebar:

    1. the word "Bookmarks" immediately under the top left of the sidebar bookmarks bar
    2. the word "Seek" and next to it search engine
    3. the words "Personal bar" in the search window. (Even if I hold the toolbar of bookmarks with links to those sites that I visit often to be visible. I just useless the 'personal bar' on the box.)

    Please look at the picture before you answer. This will make clear what I'm trying to delete.

    Any tips? Thanks for your help.

    You can hide the line with the tag of Favorites and the close icon and the search by the userChrome.css code bar, but you can't hide the bookmarks toolbar because this entire content consists of a single treechildren element.

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #sidebar-header, #search-box { display:none!important; }

    The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.

    You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

    • Create the folder chrome (lowercase) in the .default < xxxxxxxx > profile folder if the folder does not exist
    • Use a text editor like Notepad to create a userChrome.css (new) file in the folder chrome (file name is case sensitive)
    • Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the Editor window
    • Make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line
    • Make sure that you select "All files" and not "text files" when you save the file via "save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css.
      Otherwise, Windows can add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with one does not not userChrome.css.txt file
  • Move the bar on the bookmarks bar

    I wonder if it is possible to move the menu bar of the bookmarks bar, or if need is, move all items from bookmarks to the menu bar bar and then drag the menu on the tabs bar.

    There was once an add-on called "Interface user fix" that allow me to do that, but with the new 29 of Firefox, it's now impossible and the "Restorer of classic theme" does not grant this specific feature.

    You can move items in toolbar of bookmarks to the menu bar and hide the bookmarks toolbar and use code in userChrome.css to move the menu bar on a lower position.

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #toolbar-menubar {-moz-box-ordinal-group:1000}

    The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.

    You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

  • Icon display/hide the TOC on some slides/s

    Hello

    I'm trying to learn Captivate and im using version 8.1.

    Trying to show/hide the TOC icon on some slides.

    For example I want to display the TOC icon on some of my slides, except of these slides, I would like to hide.

    Searched the forum, but could not very well.

    Is this possible to do?

    Thank you..

    You can't easily change the buttons in the default player bars. But if you use a button custom shape on the first slide to turn the table of contents (only possible overlap), this time for the rest of the project button, always on top, it will have a unique ID (name). You can use the event to enter the slides when you want to hide this button table of contents: SB_TOC hide.

    To create a button to toggle for OCD, take a look on: 1 share = 5 buttons toggle - Captivate blog

    ATTENTION: a table of contents in overlay by default has a button to expand and a button to reduce the table of contents. The default buttons are the double arrows. You won't want to leave these buttons visible for the user. What can be done to replace the buttons (project, Table of contents, settings), which are indicated as "Icon to expand" and "Collapse Icon" by a small rectangle in the same color as the background color of the slide.

  • Safari and Firefox needs ways to hide the tab bar, bar Favorites (bookmarks), so that they are not visible to others your screen, or on the full screen captures.

    Safari and Firefox needs ways to enable/disable/hide (the menu and via shortcuts) tabs, Favorites (bookmarks) bar, (and bar address [which do not have Safari]), so that they are visible to a person who you show your screen not visible on just one full screen. Yes, you can expose a screenshot that excludes one or more of these bars, but it is a nuisance to have to do, and in any case, that still leaves the problem of the bars being visible to other people who show you your screen.

    The extension does not hide the toolbars?

    On Mac in mode full screen isn't really full screen and don't cache not toolbars like on Windows and Linux.

    There are extensions to hide specific toolbars if you can't do via "view > toolbars".

    In the 29 Version of FireFox the 'folder' or 'link' icons in the bookmarks bar are stuck VISIBLE.

    I just want to hide/remove icon, showing that the text I had before. The icons are essentially meaningless and I need them to be visible.

    Please suggest the right way to fix this.
