  Looks like your Windows file associations have to dispose. This means that XP doesn't know what to do with files by looking at the file extension (.exe for executables)., .doc for MS documents, etc.

  If you don't have it you, something done for you - most likely malware.

  Download the EXE File Association Fix on your desktop, unzip the file and apply it by following the instructions at the top of the page, then to restart and test.

  I have a Windows 7 computer and that you have installed Microsoft Works Suite 2006.  When I receive a file Works from another source, I can't open the file.

  He has a box that stands up and say: work could not open the selected project.  The file is possibly corrupted.

  There is nothing wrong with the file, as I open it upwards on another computer with XP market with a previous version of Works on it.

  The file extension is a WDB file.  I uninstalled this program several times and reinstalled without success.

  If you have Microsoft Works installed on Windows XP, use just the Works database to export and save the database in CSV or other transferable format that can be used to import into Excel, Access, or another program.

  Most likely your sauvegardΘ (backup status indicator) program, maybe Norton, McAfee or Mozy, indicating the file not saved yet.

  A way around that is to have a PHP file on your server that reads the XML feed and your swf reads the data from the PHP file rather than directly from the external domain.

  You must edit the file afcmgr.odf with the correct value of max or ignore the worker and issue the command manually alter.

  Hi all

  I got a video file in AVI container and with MS MPEG-4 v3 as is the codec.

  This file works on my pre Elements 2.0 to Windows XP home load, single core 2.7 Ghz. I could modify and read.

  But when you use the same file to 9.0 of items pre loaded to a quad core i5, 2.7 Ghz Imac OS Lion it will not work. It shows an error "missing Codec".

  Is there a fix that you guys could show me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  I am also puzzle on Pre 2.0 El could change it.

  It is not related to earlier versions, but to the BONE on both computers and the CODEC that is installed on each.

  If possible, install this CODEC on your Mac, and everything should be good.

  Double click on the sequence imported into the location of the project.

• Aggregator seems to randomize questions of different project files work

  I am using Captivate 5.5.

  I created 10 quizzes, each in its own project of captivate.  Each project has its own quiz ID and question slides are randomly using a single tank.   "When I publish each file of the captivate project, Serge (swf file), the questions are very good.

  However, when I combine all the 10 files in a global project, I get questions quiz on different project files... and the title slide does not even match the slide for this quiz!  For example, after the aggregation of project folder, my quiz Ch 2 would contain various chapters... question slides and the

  the title slide is not even chapter for that matter.

  When you use Question Pools, SWF files for pools are external to the SWF.  Filenames for question pools are drawn from what you called the pool, with the _CQP of letters on the end.

  When you use aggregator, all SWF files for each project aggregated file are placed in the same folder.  Each project is not kept isolated in it's own folder.

  So if one of your pools in question happen to have the same name, they can replace another aggregator compiles in the same folder.

  Return to your project and make sure that first give each published project file a unique name.  Then add the name of each pool of issue with some additional letters which differentiate the pool similar to any of the other projects.  And then republish all new and build another associate from scratch version.  See if that solves the problem.

  More than 2 years, Firefox has seen images Tiff at the Patent Office. A few days ago it stopped working. The error message says a plug-in Alternatiff or Apple Quicktime. I have reinstalled the Alternatiff plugin, but always without success. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and still nothing. I tried the Google Chrome browser on the same computer and he saw the pictures of patents without problem using the Alternatiff plugin as Firefox had always done in the past.

  Firefox can find plugins in several places and most installers add a registry entry pointing to the location, but some are not, relying on an old folder "shared" plugin Firefox 21 changed the location of this folder, leaving you with two options: (1) move the files yourself, or (2) to set Firefox to check the old location. This second step is described in this article: Windows Media or other plugins doesn't work after updating Firefox.

  A URL of file like this work when typed/pasted into the address bar of FireFox, however, if it is a link in a Web page, it will be inadmissible. If something like this happens to be a link in an e-mail in an e-mail program, wherever e-mail program is set to open links in default browser (and it's Firefox), then Firefox will open a window/tab with the following URL:

  Where the directory with the '-' and all directories parent the preceding are deleted.

  The example above is actually a link to network file, but I've noticed the same if the dashboard is in the folder name or sub of a network file link.

  You should probably see a security warning in the tools > error Console because Firefox doesn't allow webpages to access local files.

  NEITHER Documentation mentions how it works for the casting of the exe.

  OK now I can answer my own question... Yes they do.  The alias file is located adjancent to the project file and inherits the name of the project.

  Everything works as expected.
