  • How to create a jar for icons

    Hi all

How to create a jar for icons? Please help me thanks in advance.

    Sarah

    Hi Sarah!

To do this, you use at best the jdk (java development kit) which is already
installed on your pc in forms is installed.

Copy all your gif icons in a folder
Open the command prompt and in this folder.

If we assume that you have installed forms in the default directory, call the jar.exe like this:

     x:\DevSuiteHome_1\jdk\bin\jar -cfv your_icons.jar *.gif

This will create a jar file in the same directory.
Copy the jar file into your x:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\java folder.

Then open your formsweb.cfg x:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\server and change your configuration entry under the

    archive_jini=frmall_jinit.jar

    TO

    archive_jini=frmall_jinit.jar, your_icons.jar

Please check if in your formsweb.cfg so the imagebase is set to the code base.
If this isn't the case, create a parameter in your config entry:

    imagebase=codebase

Now the jar file is loaded when you start your application and the icons are
turns red from the jar file.

  • Providing a signed COD jad/jar for OTA downloads

I have an app j2me consisting of a jad and a jar file. I want to create a .cod file, sign it and put it on a web server for ota downloads.

I created the .cod like this (blackberry jde 4.7.0):

    RAPC.exe - code name import = net_rim_api.jar = appname-midlet - jad = appname.jad appname.jar

This creates a .cod file ok.

The problem now is that the jad file is not updated with the specific properties of jad from rim.

I used the http://www.jatfq.com/archives/20 to extract the cod file properties

    java-jar cod2jad.jar appname.cod appname

This generates the properties that should be added to the jad file:

    RIM-COD-URL: appname.cod
    RIM-COD-size: 77128
    RIM-COD-SHA1: 5 d ca c0 97 59 27 1 d 7B f7 b8 32 48 12 43 b9 a2 e1 9f fb
    RIM-COD-URL-1: appname - 1.cod
    RIM-COD-size-1: 59748
    RIM-COD-SHA1-1: 0 d df c0 87 09 70 82 1f f3 bd 13 a2 0d e9 d5 e4 82 94 17 90
    RIM-COD-URL-2: appname - 2.cod
    RIM-COD-size-2: 49424
    RIM-COD-SHA1-2: b9 7A c9 82 67 1st 91 94 89 94 1 c 6 d 25 ba a1 f5 this ad cb 8 d
    RIM-COD-Module-name: appname
    RIM-COD-Module-dependencies: net_rim_cldc
    RIM-COD-creation-Time: 1202924527

I downloaded the jad file on my web server, define the types for jad and cod mime and unzipped the file cod to provide appname.cod, appname - 1.cod and appname - 2.cod for download.

It works very well and the blackberry (8900 and 9000 models) are able to download, install and run ok.

Now to the problem. If I sign the cod file, it is not possible to extract the child main cod cod files to give them for download.

    unzip appname.cod
    Archive: appname.cod
file #1: bad zipfile offset (lseek): 557056
file #2: bad zipfile offset (lseek): 630784
file #3: bad zipfile offset (lseek): 696320

Is it possible to provide OTA signed applications that consist of more a record of cod of the child?

How I first connect and then unzip?

I thought that you said that you couldn't generate a signed COD that would work...

He is not much of mandatory information that you must provide in the JAD. For example, the SHA-1 hashes are optional. It is pretty trivial to generate a JAD file.

  • Jars for WLST and ALSB

We went just for ALSB 3.0 (the orginal version, not the new Oracle 10 g 3 BEA) and I can't find the jar files needed to make deployments in ALSB. Previously, in 2.6, I only needed sb - public.jar, but this file seems not to appear more. Specifically, the script fails on the following imports:

    com.BEA.WLI.config import Ref
    com.BEA.WLI.config.customization import customization
    from com.bea.wli.config.customization import EnvValueCustomization

Anyone know what files I need to be in the CLASSPATH for these? It also appears that all the WL_HOME/servicebus directory is not present, is this normal for 3.0?

    Thank you

    Mike

SB - public.jar is replaced by sb-core - api .jar. All files ending in *-api.jar are those that expose the public API of OSB.  Several obsolete APIs in ALSB 2.6 are eliminated by ALSB 3.0. So, we will have to change code WLST considerably if the use of 2.6 deprecated API.

Can you please check if put $installdir/modules/com.bea.common.configfwk_xxx.jar in the class path solves the problem.

    Thank you

  • ADF Library Jars for shared code

    Version: Jdeveloper 12 c.

I have a request that I am building and try to use as much shared code as possible.  I created an application called xyzUtils which contains the code that each of my applications could need.  I've conditioned as a library of the ADF.   It contains a bunch of standard java classes such as ADFUtils, JSFUtils, StuartsUtils...

I added that day cela to

    1. my request to ADF 'ABC '. This is to be the main application which will consist of a number of small applications (which will reference each xyzUtils app).  It has a minimal amount of custom code, but search tips.

    2. my request to ADF "homepage".

As soon as I put the taskflow of my startPage application in my request of ABC, some code has stopped working - and if I delete the shared the ABC app application, the code works.

The idea is to reduce redundancy, but it seems that I will encounter conflicts if I have a major application that refers to the xyzUtils app, but also other applications that refer to the xyzUtils application.

I understand the concept to ensure that names don't overlap - but in this case the shared library has the same way in each application.

What is advised here?  I keep several versions of the shared code (adfutils etc) in each application?

    Thank you

  • "Error starting Module not found" add external jar to eclipse plugin

    Hello

I use the eclipse on Eclipse 3.4 plugin

    BB JDE 4.5

    8300 Simulator

I'm trying to run a Midlet that sucessfully runs in eclipse for another smartphone (Samsung).

The project compiles fine, but when I run it in the BB Simulator, it gives me the error:

"error at startup MyApp: Module ' kxml2 - 2.3.0' not found."

I added a jar for kmxl in the form of external jar file.

Sometimes it get lost, don't know why. I had to add the jar file several times because once so that it cannot compile and it disappears from the list of libraries.

In any case, the major problem is that he cannot run in the Simulator.

I found several posts with the same problem, but the solutions they gave are JDE, not eclipse plugin.

These solutions were to create a new project, made a library of BB and understand the project as a dependency in the main application.

But how to solve the problem in plugin eclipse?

Why add a pot as an external library is not enough?

Why get lost from time to time?

If we are to create a new project (it seems excessive to me thinking) how can we define everything in eclipse?

The question that you are running is the WebWorks SDK provided with the library net_rim_api.jar for BB5.  This means that the BB6 API are not in this library link to.

We are looking to add a new net_rim_api.jar to the SDK so that people can take advantage of the API of BB6.  However, do not know if you are using a BB6 API your app does not work on BB5.  When the application starts, it will get a link error because the API expected is not present.

You can make your extension work on BB6 by downloading the Java SDK and copy the net_rim_api.jar file and place it in your SDK WebWorks... I believe in the SDK WebWorks is in your directory "lib".

I tried right click and press choose program by default and chaning to java, but nothing seems to happen! I don't know what to some may help me!

    Hello

-Have there been any changes made on the computer before the show?

    -Is the file type-specific question?

I would suggest trying the following steps and check.

    Method 1:

Try to replace the association command prompt.

    a. Click Start and type cmd.exe in the start search box.

    b. right-click on cmd.exe and select run as administrator.

    (c) in the command prompt, type the following commands, and press ENTER.

To remove the associated association: assoc.jar =

    To assign/change a file association: assoc.jar = jarfile

    d. close the command prompt and check with the question.

If the problem persists, then uninstall and reinstall Java and check.

    Method 2:

How to uninstall Java on my Windows computer? http://www.Java.com/en/download/help/uninstall_java.XML

How can I manually download and install Java for my Windows computer? http://Java.com/en/download/help/windows_manual_download.XML

    IDAutomation LinearBarcode.jar

I have a report that prints the data with bar code on the detail rows in a report.  It uses the Java LinearBarcode.jar by Idautomation package for this purpose.  The Java package contains an encoder that returns a bar code in the form of a GIF image to a field on the report.  One of the arguments that it requires is a name of temporary file generated by srw.create_temporary_filename ().  When it works perfectly, and it creates the temporary image file in my folder tree 'House' (C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Local\Temp) run under the report generator.  When I run this report generator with fast running behind her I can watch the report search, open, read and close this file LinearBarcode.jar several times for successive lines of the report.  Everything seems to be very good in the generator.

The fun begins when I try to call the same report from a FORM (Form Builder fleeing), where he fails every time, somewhere in the image generation stage.  In my view, that it fails to the creation of the image itself, when he tries to open the file for writing temporary image.  I can find the empty temporary files left after the report runs and fails, but the size of the file is zero byte.  When I run this report of my test form with Microsoft quick run behind it I see the report search, open, read and close this file LinearBarcode.jar for the first line of data in the report, then the report fails.  So, I know that the .jar file and the required REPORTS_CLASSPATH/CLASSPATH entries are synchronized with the location of the .jar file.  The report runs, and he finds the LinearBarcode.jar, it opens, it reads and closes it.  What I do is to not see any activity related to the image itself temporary file.   Thus, failure at least gives the impression of being in the image create step itself, which makes me doubt the safety of Java.  However, there is no message popup on Java security problems.

I tried implementing Trace for reports, but also, that does not give something of use, except to confirm that the report is certainly a failure in the creation of barcode code somewhere.  This is known from the error message in the log file: fatal error REP-1401 < barcode create procedure name >

I'm guessing that he might be a missing 'writing' somewhere authorization prevent the creation of the temporary file used to generate the barcode image file. This error only occurs under Java (run from a form). I was not able to find something about it by reading everything I could find on the OracleBarcode.jar demo.  I also not found anything in Google searches that does not count.

Are special permissions to allow these operations to temporary file as shown above?  If Yes, where and how are they set?  If this isn't the case, else anyone seen this issue before?

    Thanks in advance

    Hank

Resolved: This issue had nothing to do with the creation of barcodes. It turns out that there is a field in the State who had no defined source. It was not rendered because it was hidden by a format trigger. It seems that this case is handled by the constructor, but blew the engine in the reporting process used when a report is called by the forms. It took a long process of elimination, elimination of triggers, fields, parameters, and even the generation of bar code code until I found it.

    Thank you

    Best regards

    NilsO

    Hi Nils

12.1.3 WebLogic jdbc libraries are located in the MW_HOME/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jdbc_12.1.0 directory level.

For this WLS jdbc driver is ojdbc7.jar which is loaded on startup of WLS.

As mentioned on the post preceding this is is not compatible with the 11.1.1.7.3 MapViewer to display the ORDIMAGE. Seems that even the ojdbc6.jar that exists in this directory cannot be used.

What to do is make the WLS Server uses the ojdbc6.jar for 11.1.1.7.3. There are different ways to use a different pot in WebLogic.

This page http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1212/wls/JDBCA/third_party_drivers.htm was noted in this regard.

    As a quick test, you can try to make the ORDIMAGE with the following steps;

    (1) on page MapViewer OTN, Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer access downloads and download the quick start for the 11.1.1.7.3 Version.

You will find the glassfish3/glassfish/domains/Domain1/lib folder a file jdbc ojdbc6.jar.

    (2) on your installation of a WebLogic domain:

    Navigate to the oracle_common/modules/oracle.jdbc_12.1.0 directory

    make a backup of ojdbc7.jar

copy the ojdbc6.jar on top of ojdbc7.jar

    (3) start Weblogic server and try to make your theme ORDIMAGE.

As I mentioned before, there are different ways to add a jar to WebLogic classpath. The quick test above is just replace the original ojdbc7.jar in a facility that is not good, as you lose you original ojdbc7.jar.

    Best regards.
