Hello.
I have an iMac running OS X v10.9.5 with Mail v7.3 and I use godaddy as my email provider. I have three accounts with godaddy and one of them continues to send spam to all my contacts. I changed the password for this email to godaddy. What else can I do to prevent this from happening again? Thank you very much. CBo
You can not - your account or one or more of your friends has been hacked rather than someone just received yours of online research. You can change your password; However, that is too late because the address is already used and probably sold several times (valid email addresses are purchased all the time so spammers can use a play of address and not to be taken as a spammer).
The only way is to delete this account and establish a new - use a very difficult password and keep your address as Fort Knox.

I received an e-mail that threatened to stop sending spam on my computer.
Very bad email
I received an e-mail that threatened to stop sending spam on my computer. I don't know even how to do such a thing and certainly not do. They said it was of I.P. address '69.49.30.200', I.P. address is "192.168.5.64" I think. I got one of these emails on 2 or 3 weeks and just ignored, but man o man did they never screw up my computer. I didn't that I would never come back it works correctly. What can I do to get rid of these people?Hello

I've already changed my password, but that someone is using my email address to send spam... help! I can't find a phone number for Microsoft anywhere.
Send a message using any specific e-mail address, it's the best thing to do and something that cannot be stopped. Just because your address is used to send the mail does not mean that your e-mail account is used. If you have updated password of your account for something strong (see http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/passwords-create.aspx) and updated all the security tools of the account, such as phone numbers cell and active account and security issues to always use HTTPS, then you have protected your account as it can be protected and it is probably not your account used to send the mail just your address. Spammers who do it all the time.

Why Microsoft isn't an option in their email clients (Outlook, Outlook Express, Live Mail, hot Mail) block IP addresses that send spam?
Looks like something aside server. Not to mention that change IPs and when you go to IPv6, the whole game changes.
What email client you use that gives you this option now?
You can block entire domains... (Outlook in any case, not sure about the rest.)

Hi Pat. You need to change your password of e-mail of course but not in front of you, either remove malware from your computer or format and install Vista. Exactly what the problems are, other than your email, you encounter? What do you mean also 'filled my c/hard disk 233 GB'? Please give as much detail as possible.

My windows live mail is send spams. How can I remove this? Please notify
My windows live mail is send spams. It reads "Mail Delivery Failure". I get 100 posts in one day. How to remove this virus without removing my email since. Help, please.
Do you see in your sent folder? I suspect not but if so, you should quickly change your password.
This kind of Spam emails are ususally not actually sent through your email. More often, they use your address falsely as sender and rest rebound toward you. There are no that you can do about it. They will usually be cone off the coast over time.

My email has been hacked and used to send Spam. I have to perform a virus check, or simply change the password?
Do not install or run an anti virus app.
How do you know that your email has been "hacked"? It is a common practice for spammers to forge an envoy from the e-mail address. It may be that your email address has been misused. There's nothing to do if this is the case for you. The spammer will soon pass and usurp another email address.
It's a good idea to immediately change your password by email if someone would actually managed to access your e-mail account.

My email from Apple used to send spam
This is the first time (that I know) that my Apple email address has been used to send spam in bulk. I don't think that the account has been hacked, since I'm still able to sign in iCloud and access my mail. I guess that my address is being spoofed. I contacted the people I thought that had received spam from me.
Is it possible to stop this? I'm afraid that it will continue until everyone I contacted directly or sent by electronic mail will be spammed by me. It is an address that I use for almost everything.
Are there steps I can take to keep my e-mail address be used this way?
Thank you.

Since your password has not changed for access, the password may have been learned through strikes or phishing somehow. It would still be a good idea to update your password information and security. http://www.Apple.com/legal/more-resources/phishing/
Two-factor authentication is perhaps something to look at as well, so you can be made aware of all the connections on your account. Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support. To do this, before you change the other security settings on your account as your password if you decide to go ahead with it. Otherwise, you must wait 72 hours after the update of your password, etc. for security measures.
Finally, Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support should feel you the need for more reassured.

Hi Apple iPhone community,
This query refers to a friend who had an iPhone 5 and now an iPhone 6. They use Yahoo mail for iPhone App and I (and others) have previously (and more recently) received SPAM e-mail to this address. One of the solutions I've tried was to get them to change their password (on PC) to ensure that their user name of Yahoo Mail and password had not been hacked or compromised. It worked for a little while, but I discovered today that others still receive SPAM (from 02/04/2016). If anyone can offer any suggestions, it would be extremely useful. I don't know if the Yahoo Mail for iPhone with that app is one of the options that I really want to go the disconnection.
A big thank you to all those who help you with this problem.
Michael
It has nothing to do with the app
Anyone who thinks that the password can send junk e-mail on the account
you go to www.yahoo.com and sign in with the email and guessed the password and send spam
It is about 1000 times more difficult to hack somehow an e-mail on a mobile platform client to send mail

Windows Mail send random email attachments to unknown recipients without my knowledge. The only reason I know this is a postmaster rejects opinion. How can I stop it?
original title: Windows e-mail virusesIf you use Windows Mail in Vista, then go to tools | Options | Security and check the box warn if other applications send by mail like you. I think, however, that your email address is being spoofed by another infected machine and send e-mails disguised coming from you. There is not much you can do about it.
Make sure that you machine is not infected by a virus scan (for example www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/) and search for malware (www.malwarebytes.org). But it may be that you or your machine that is responsible for sending spam that appears to come from your hand.
