• Why keep away my restore points for vista Home premium?

  I read recently on TechRepublic on Vista Restore devours all the disk space if not configured correctly. I used vssadmin list shadowstorage to see my restore points there is not! I did a manual restore yesterday point and repeat the command vssadmin, it appeared and everything looked good.  I went today to see if the restoration has created another point of restoration, as it is supposed to do on a daily basis, made the shadowstorage command, no restore points, including the one I did yesterday!
  I am running Vista Home Premium, SP1 32 Bit on an Acer Aspire 6920 G computer laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 1.83 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache, 3 GB of Ram and a 320 GB hard drive with a partition C: and D:, 104 GB left of 140 GB on D: and C:, so disk space is not a problem the latter being of full backups mobile operating system and storage, NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500 M. For security I run McAfee Security Center, as well as Spybot S & D operation resident Teatimer. Not a dual-boot machine. I checked that the C: drive is selected for restore points, and it is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Absolutely, I think, that's why I mentioned. Tried to get others who suggest Spybot
  for Vista and especially IE8 to tell people to stop the SBSD service and do not use TeaTimer.

  Good idea to stop the SBSD Service - value STOPPED and MANUAL, you can use SpyBot as
  as scan if needed.

  If you uninstall an antivirus/antispyware/security program never always go to their site and get
  the removal tools and/or special instructions - if you just use remove any at all they tend
  Let the remains.

  Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with everything I threw at them.

  Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except away from Standard, Web and network is working.

  I am running Vista Bussiness 32-bit system.

  Unfortunately windows restore points keep being errased and I get the message no restore points have been made.

  I tried manually create and close and restart restore points and they are still there. However, after about a day they are still missing.

  Any idears please?

  This can occur if you close sticky notes (press x) after having written a note on it, without having it in your taskbar.

  I recommend clicking on the start menu type in sticky notes, then right-click on it and select PIN to the taskbar. It should then keep all of your notes.

  I have connections on all the rest. It is new, has never been used. bought at Office Depot.  I can't save my numbers if I can't connect.

  in any case my question JAVA SE6. I am currently on a course that's happened for a while (I'm halfway), and I just noticed that they do not allow someone to register more than do the course Java SE6 (im wondering if I should do more research and started instead of SE6 SE7)

  in any case, I've read about eric romang blog are most of the people travel because of the support for SE6 SE7 has sort of finished.

  My question is, is it essential for me to make progress do SE7 or I'll still be OK (and maybe find some work) with SE6?

  I have a problem enough with getting SE6 to install on my new system as you can't really download Oracles on site is another reason why I think to SE7.

  If you want to be a professional in ALL areas the first habit that you need to develop is to FINISH what you start.

  Everything what you posted just slowly and carefully re-read and there are at least three things you say that make it appear as if you are looking for just excuses to quit smoking. Person as a quitter!

  You have started the SE6 course for a reason. A change of pattern? It does look like it to me. The training is 'ongoing for some time'. Well it's either because it's a long journey or it's because you're just doing it slowly. If it's a long journey, all the more reason to finish it and then decide what you want to do next.

  If you are just doing it 'slow' so you have no more time to devote to it or you have simply CHOSEN to spend more time with him. If you don't have the time you will have no time for SE7 either so why throw away half of a course you have already finished?

  I tried all sorts of things all day today to solve the problem. The only thing that worked was totally recreate the vertical menu from scratch, with all new CSS. I do not know. The Spry menus are strange and buggy, he sews. I had problems with a previous site when I tried to use Spry. If all goes well, they work the bugs. Thanks again for your help.

  I did a quick remake of the site and did not generate these errors. I was always using layers, but I decided to the top of your background image and used expandable images for the side with the top and bottom as their own slices with a container in the middle. Sorry I don't have a specific change this answer, but there seems to be something with these layers.
