Title of PowerPoint slides by default at the bottom of the presentation.

Hi, Just created my 1st PP, Win 7, MS 2007 presentation.  I created a title with photos/jpg slide that follows.  I then copied the title slide to create a division of securities if necessary.  Saved the presentation, however, when I return all my title (except 1) slides are now at the bottom of the presentation.  I then revise other title slides in order each time in their original position.

I even used "Presentation to protect" in the Review tab.   How can I avoid this and keep the blades in the order needed?  Support does not seem to address this issue.  What I am doing wrong?  How to save this slide show 117?

Million thanks, nibenson

  • Import of MS Powerpoint slides to Captivate

Anyone know why I cannot import MS Powerpoint slides in Captivate? The option is out ghost under file > import > PowerPoint presentation. I'm building a sensitive project classroom and tried to import a Content Slide that I formatted with a style of master. As a work around, since there are only two PowerPoint slides, I opened in Adobe Photoshop and turned them into jpg. Then I have those in my slide of content placed side by side. Two bad that I can't manage to put a Powerpoint presentation that would leap upward in a separate window. PS. There are things on Captivate that seem really basic to me, but I want to make a more robust program. Thank you!

Please use PNG, not with JPEG compression if you want quality. I would NEVER start a PPT for a sensitive project (and rarely for an empty project). A great presentation tool is not a tool of e-Learning good, certainly not if your focus is on mobile devices.

I wanted to add that if you still want to import PPT-Slides into a normal (empty) project, you can use a custom slide template. Import PPT will always need the blank slide that must be empty (except for background color later). That Blank Master slide is also necessary for any simulation software.

It is not only for the conversion to the SWF format that you can not import PPT into a sensitive project, but also because every PPT slide has a fixed resolution, projects of nature reactive need to have a dynamic resolution, as well for the slides and objects. It's one of the reasons for the Panel properties of Position is so important for projects of a reactive nature, and the leaders have a default value of % instead of pixels.

  • 'forcing' the user for text input prior to the presentation?

I want to "force" users to enter text in three fields of text separated on a side box before you click on a click (on the bottom of the slide) box to continue the presentation. There is no "submit" button for each of the text boxes because there are three variables separated on the page, one for each text box, and I don't want a user to click on 'send' three times, once for each text box. I only want the user to fill out all three text fields before continuing with the presentation. As it is now, with three text boxes in a slide, the user can avoid entering any text all and simply click the box click to continue.

Is there a nice advanced for this action? JavaScript?

Does anyone have any ideas how to do this?

    Thanking you in advance!

Can be done with advanced actions, but first I need to know if you can force the sequence for the ETB? You do not want a "submit" button, but the entry in BER must be confirmed by the user, or by a button "submit" a shortcut key. Now you can't use the same shortcut to multiple interactive objects, so if you assign an entry as a shortcut key this is possible only for BER. My workflow, if you can force the sequence, is to put the button submit to the first TEB, made transparent and without any text inside, on top of the second TEB (the field itself), so that when the user clicks this area to the second entrance, at the same time it confirms the entry for the first TEB.

I've been blogging about multiple submit BER with a button (just remembered it):

Several TEB with a Submit button

Like to check if the user has entered something in ETB, you need a tip action and a v_null variable empty user. I blogged about this kind of variable user as well (sorry for all the links, but you can find a lot more explanation here):

    Where there is no

You can put the button next up, but leave it to trigger a tip action that checks to see if one of the ETB has value = v_null and in this case show a warning text legend. If none is set to = v_null you go to the next page

  • Change the background of the title & imitate PowerPoint

    Hello

I did a short video explaining my question.

    http://screencast.com/t/NjhjMjJkMT

I read the following thread and the Coulnd't ' t find the solution I'm looking for.  http://forums.adobe.com/message/1756966#1756966

Should ' t it be as simple as making sure that the entire bottom is selected, and then selecting a color "fill"?

    Thank you

    Robby

Robby, a plate of title defaults to TRANSPARENT. It is this 'checkerboard thing' see you in your video. The checkerboard indicates the transparency (as it does in all Adobe applications). It is not possible to the color of a pixel where none exist!

.. you need to MAKE your own background by selecting the rectangle tool, bringing it out, so it fills the stage space (and regardless if it's bigger), send it to the back behind your text and give it a fill color. Fact.

As a matter of interest (and I have no idea what the rest of your project), you are sure to want to do this in first? If the final product is going to just be a PowerPoint presentation but distributed in the form of film (for example, for YouTube or Vimeo), I'd be tempted to do PowerPoint and use a simple tool like PPT2VIDEO ($50USD) to convert the presentation file into a movie file. If you're on Keynote, you can export directly in Quicktime.

Don't get me wrong, you can do it in first, it's just going to be... uh... boring.

  • Import PowerPoint slides w / in the small area of slide

    Hi-

Is it possible to import the PowerPoint slide to show only a part of the screen? I would like to have the PowerPoint presentation on about 1/3 of the page and maintain the content of pages to stay in the other 2/3 of the page. Is this possible? If so, how?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Not out of the box, I'm afraid.

Two questions: do you have animations on the PPT slides you want to play or are they just static?

If they are static: you can insert an image, otherwise you will insert a SWF file. This could be done by creating a separate at a lower resolution (or scaled down) CP file and publish it in a SWF file. You may need a SWF-loader widget (take a look at the site of Michael www.cpguru.com) to load the film generated by CP in CP-file.

Someone else may have another suggestion for you.

  • When I add the transparent button on the powerpoint slide, animation does not, why?

I am a new user of Captivate 4.0. I gave a transparent button on a powerpoint slide that I inserted, to give navigation branching. The slide has animation too. At the point where I add the transparent button animation (fade images fade in) stops running after that I have published. Can someone help me with this.

    Thank you :-)

    Hello

Pure and simple. Buttons and objects Box click pause the slide until it clicked. If you want the slide to pause, change the button or box click so the break does not. Or change the "timing", so he made a break later.

Out of curiosity, why a transparent button and not a click box? Basically, a click box is a transparent button.

  • Could not import all of the PowerPoint slides

I created a PPT presentation with 117 slides I want to import into Captivate 3. However, whenever I try to import slides PPT in Captivate file, I see that Captivate detects the first 77 slides of the presentation (40 slides are still missing). I tried to cut the PPT file into several smaller files and import each of these files separately, but whenever I get to the 77th slide, Captivate cannot import slides more (when I go to file > import > PowerPoint slides... and select the desired PPT file, it shows only a blank slide even if the PPT file in question has several slides in there).

How can I get Captivate to detect all 117 slides of my PPT presentation?

I found the answer: in the pane left of your PPT presentation, when you click on 'Preview', you can see that each slide has its own name. most of the slides have no names at all (the space next to them is just empty), however some slides are named after a specific text box, that you can find on the slide itself. It turns out the slides that Captivate has not detected that all had exactly the same name (as you might see in the section overview in the left of your presentation as pane described above). I simply deleted the names in order to could be "no-name" slides as all other slides in the presentation. It also automatically removed from the text box related on those slides, but I simply replaced those with the standard toolbar text boxes.

Summary: All the slides have different names (or blank) as seen from the Plan of your presentation for Captivate tab import correctly.

I have a PowerPoint for Mac slide show 2016 that advance simply has the value from one slide to the other side of 5 seconds throughout the presentation. No effects of transition or animations of any kind.

  • Working on powerpoint slides with exciting write

    Hi people,

Proud owner of a tablet with exciting write to little more than 1 month I am trying to gradually transfer most of the tasks that I perform to work on my Windows PC to my Tablet while I no longer need to carry this huge 17-inch screen when they travel!

E-mail and note-taking are a blessing, but still have a major problem with powerpoint slides.

Whether QuickOffice ot ThinkFree, I can't find a way to consolidate the multiple. PPT presentations into a single presentation using these Office Android apps.

I tried Thinkfree support but their response was a joke :(

    All help much apreciated.
    See you soon

Sorry mate but I put t know what assistance you expect exactly here in the forum.
Android applications are not developed by the manufacturers of tablets.
Some are preinstalled on the shelves, but most of them you will find in Google PlayStore and making the app is responsible for the functionality of the application and development.

It seems that thinkfree mobile provides little other office applications:
    https://play.Google.com/store/apps/Developer?ID=ThinkFree%20Mobile&hl=en

Also in the Google game shop, you will find other Android apps with office functionality and other features.
Maybe you should check out and try the apps like OfficeSuite 7, Quickoffice Pro or Kingsoft Office

I think that tablets are very useful devices supports lots of features and in different applications, you could do a good job, but my personal opinion the table will not replace a laptop completely.

  • Add title report Word which by default is save-as

I am trying to create a new Word report from a template file that will automatically fill in the title and have a default value entered when the user press "Save".  I tried to put it in 'The Word Document properties' by setting the title field.  It does not set the title, but Word done something weird.  The first time you click on save, it puts the first line of text in the file name (as it would with any new document with the empty title property).  If you click Cancel, and then hit save again, it will use the title given to the title property.  It is a strange thing in the word, or is it possible to force it to work as I want it?
