• Bridge CC 2015 error message Camera Raw

  I run the latest version of the CC 2015 bridge on my MacBook 2015 retina display. The rest of my software Adobe (including Photoshop) are CS6. CS6 bridge is not compatible with MacBook retina display, that's why I am forced to use the bridge CC.

  When I am browsing files photos in Bridge and click on edit in camera raw, I get a message error that says "the Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw edition requires a product calling it launched at least once to activate this function. "I used it without problem with a trial for Photoshop CC, but since my trial ran out, I uninstalled Photoshop CC.

  To be very clear: until last week, I got a bridge CC, CC Photoshop and Photoshop CS6 trial installed on my MacBook. All were / are the latest versions. Until that time, CC bridge would open to change in Camera Raw, JPEG files. The * only * thing that has changed is that I uninstalled Photoshop CC since the trial has run out. I uninstalled not something else.

  Unfortunately I don't remember what the solution was... probably too simple that by ensuring that the Eizo is set as the primary display and the NEC as secondary. To check, you can try to disconnect the NEC temporarily so that the Eizo is the only display on the system.

  I feel a bug here. I know it has happened to a few users before you. The PS and ACR need to use the system default for any display monitor profile the app is on. When you drag the application from one screen to the other, the profile switch should occur when you cross the median line, at the point where you release the mouse button.

  I just bought a license for Photoshop CC 2015. Camera Raw 8.0 is currently installed. So I need to switch to 9.1.

  But when I opened the menu "help" 'upgrade' is not active. (I guess menu and input are called 'Help' and 'upgrade' because I have a German Version).

  How can I upgrade my rough Version of the camera?

  There was a problem with the PS, install the old version of ACR, you may need to reinstall PS to solve this problem, but you can try the direct download link. Camera Raw is 9.3 until now.

  I'm going to bridge to open my CR2 files in Camera Raw. I do all the settings I want and then when I save or open in Photoshop, all settings apply with the exception of the reduction of noise! Everything goes no matter if I open it in Photoshop or simply click "Done" and return to the bridge. My noise reduction does not follow... When I open the image in Camera Raw again, the noise reduction is still all there. What is going on?!

  Disable the graphics processor of the Camera preferences and restart the application.

  • Mac OS: Choose Edition > Preferences > Camera Raw.
  • Windows: Choose Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw.

  It seems that the Camera Raw Filter has disappeared or moved into the main menu of the drop-down menu "Filters" after that I upgraded to the 2015.5.1 exit (20160722.r.156).

  I looked through the menus and also check the notes version on photoshop and camera raw, but I see no information regarding this.

  Reinstall Photoshop fixes this problem. I guess I just met a bug on the last update. After full reinstalled everything is up-to-date and the Camera Raw filter works correctly.

  I'm not an apple person.  I read on a few different forums that apple has changed what is called 'writing' in a recent update to apple.  You may need to find an Apple expert to show you how to make sure you are allowed to write to files or locations on your computer.

  I had this also when I tried to go file > open recent > IMG_138.CR2. So I went to photoshop > Preferences > camera raw... to see what was going on and I got a different error message

  Photoshop Elements open digital, negatives, but Photoshop won't and I get the same dialogue "cannot recognize the file type. I doubt that using a digital negative converter / raw file will change that. I need camera raw to work in photoshop.

  The ACR 7.4 700 d or newer of the 70 d (if there was typo) requires and ACR, 8.2 or newer.

  PS CC 2015 as the title says needs OS X 10.9 or newer so PS CC 2014 is the most recent CC PS, you can run on your 10.8.

  11 elements of Photoshop that supports RTAs 7.1 also supports ACR 7.4, so you should be able to update your PSE11 to 7.4 of the cab and open the 700 d raw files.

  --

  It is unclear why your PS CC 2014 cannot be updated at least 8.2 RTAs that must run on your old operating system.

  I would be completely uninstall the PS CC 2014, reboot, then reinstall and use the help / updates to see if you can get a new Camera Raw plugin that works.
