  Hey guys, so recently I bought Lightroom after my trail 30 days... but when I try to run lightroom a pop-up message comes on my screen and said 'Lightroom cannot operate with reduced functionality' when Ive already bought the real version... I also have not received a serial number when buying... I looked up the forums and it says to convert official version test Lightroom but do not have the serial number to do, (bought through adobe site)... Can anyone help?

  If you have CC photography Plan, then you will not have a serial number, you simply connect with the AdobeID associated with your Plan of photography CC.  Help / Sign In in LR is a way to do this.

  You say that you have the options to see what plan you have, but you do not say if you really don't see the plan listed or not.  You see a CC Plan associated with your AdobeID photograph?

  If so, if you don't have a CC plan associated with your AdobeID, then follow these steps to make troubleshooting LR:

  Stop Creative Cloud 2015 to return to the mode of trial

  If the problem is that you don't have a CC plan associated with your AdobeID then maybe you have several identifiers and you need to connect with one another.  You can also try the chat with Adobe directly as they can view their information from server directly.

• Lightroom "Open with," "open...". "Links for Photoshop 5.1 in gray.

  I work with the latest versions of Photoshop, Lightroom and ACR. A couple of weeks, I noticed that links to Photoshop since Lightroom were all grayed out. for example, when I right click on an image and select 'Open with' he and the rest of Photoshop links are grayed out and inaccessible. I used Photoshop since Lightroom ansd since v1 v2.  My operating system in Windows 7.

  I have read a few messages in the forum and followed the advice to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop to restore links. I spent about two hours to do this yesterday. When I made the links were back and functional. I left the compluter all night to make sure that everything has been saved. This morning, I opened Lightroom (64-bit) and attempted to open an image in Photoshop for editing. All the links were still gray.

  So today, I uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom. Still no luck.

  If anyone has some insight on this issue please let me know.

  Personally I would try again after the reinstalled Lightroom Photoshop, just so that I had done it in both orders. Photoshop > Lightroom and Lightroom > Photoshop. I have done this ages ago and it worked. YMMV. Otherwise look to delete preference files.

• Cannot start programs - OPEN WITH missing function

  A few days ago, I tried to download and install a chess in Chessbase engine, a database utility. I did not. I remember at one point a flashing horizontal line in the upper left corner of a window black arise at a time, so that illuminates what could have transpired. Basically, I tried to get out without making any damage, but it was not to be the case. Immediately after that, I noticed that many programs Office now had ChessBase icons instead of those who were there previously. In addition, whenever I would try to run any program, including Firefox, Word, etc. it would immediately launch the basic chess program. I did some reading, tinkered around (oops) and restored the original icons for the desktop, but not their original function.

  I am more able to launch ANY program installed (MS WORD 97, for example) by using the OPEN WITH option, that has completely disappeared. I am not able to access the recovery files via the control panel because when I select "Open system restore", the error message in the recovery area States that "System Restore could not be opened."

  When I followed the trail into a .exe file (for MS Word, for example), I can't open it. I tried following some tips on a couple of occasions involving typing in commands in the search box (for example, regedit.exe) but never, it opens the file automatically, or makes a double click. Needless to say (but I say that! LOL) right-click to access the OPEN WITH feature is never an option, because it no longer exists in the menu!

  I use a method 'diverted' to access the internet (start-> all programs-> CCleaner (folder)-> CCleaner Homepage. This puts me in the Firefox browser online where I can ask for help. Help! (LOL)

  Try to start the restoration of the system of the box executer run from the start menu, type rstrui.exe in the box.  If it does not try to run it from a safe secure with command prompt with the same control rstrui.exe.

  So did you sign out of the application of office creative cloud with LR and Psalm I suggest you open the CC desktop application, Sign out if are not already and then sign back with the Adobe ID that you know for sure is associated with the subscription.

  It is 60 days in addition to your subscription plan. It extends your 60 day subscription. It is not as a replacement for the plan. So if your plan is expected to run out on 12 April 2016 it would spread from 60 days until June 12, 2016. You will need to use all the features of LR and Psalm
