CD burner reading and writing but dvd reading stopped to write

I can burn a cd, but it won't burn dvd

This can happen because the portions of CD and DVD from the drive using different heads of burning discs.  If a cleaning disc does not put things right then the likely drive needs to be replaced - assuming, of course, that your question means that you USED TO BE ABLE to burn DVD discs but no. LONGER CAN. If you've never been able to burn DVD discs that can be a problem of software such as Windows XP does not support burning DVDs, you need a compatible software to burn DVD discs.

    I need to understand...

You have a bunch of photos that you want to make a video of.
You want to add music in the background.

    I'm wrong, so far?
In the affirmative. Please check your images file extensions and the music file.
File extension is last 3 letters of the file.
Your image files must be either png, jpg, bmp.
Your music file must be wma or wav.

If those that occur, then please follow this...
Open Windows DVD Maker > add file, import your photos > next > at the top, click on slide show > click Add music, navigate to the music file and select. Click Add > check "change slide show length to match music length > click Change slide show > Burn"

  • Burn. AVI file on DVD-R Virgin

I created a .avi file I want to burn it to a DVD so that it can be watched on a DVD player.  Essentially, just trying to convert movies to the House that I recorded on a DV tape to DVD format so that it can be monitored via a normal DVD player.  (In case it is relevant, I did the .avi file using a software called MotionDV Studio.  "It's a program that comes with the model of camcorder, Panasonic PV - GS150 Neu.)  However, when I insert a blank Sony DVD-R disc in the DVD drive in my laptop, the player does not seem to recognize that there is a disc in there.

The DVD drive I have is an Optiarc-CDRWDVD CRX890S ATA.  I checked the features of this material on the internet and he must accept DVD-R discs.  I also checked in the device (from the control panel) Manager.  The State of the device indicates that the device is functioning properly.

In the Windows Help and Support window, the theme of 'Format to a CD or DVD' seems to suggest that a dialog box should appear when I insert the blank disc.  However, it is not.

I tried to use Windows Media Player to burn the .avi file but it says there is no disc in the DVD drive, even if the blank DVD-R disc is there.

I also tried to use the Windows Explorer.  I find the .avi file that was on my hard drive, and then you press the "Burn" button while the file has been selected.  At that time, opened the DVD player and a dialog box appears asking to insert the recordable disc.  I inserted the above disc, but there is no other activity of the laptop.

I also tried to buy a new set of DVD-R discs, but met the same problem.

What other steps can I take to burn the .avi on the DVD file?

    Hello

Recently, I copied some old tapes vhs to dvd (using a Panasonic dvd recorder). They have copied fine reading in the Panasonic and, fine, but do nothing in one of my Dell PC. Media player is my default player. End factory dvd work.?

    Hello

Its probably an alignment problem - that is, the Panasonic is written outside of the
able to read DVD computer settings.

Normally, if you want to create CD/DVD that can play on standard devices (for example
like the Panasonic) the MASTERED format should be used. Does the Panasonic
offer a choice or formats? If the Panasonic uses MASTERED, then this is definitely one
alignment problem. If the alignment can be defined in fact would cost more than the
device being aligned (if you could find someone who could actually do).

    I hope this helps.

I have a laptop Acer 4736Z with a TSST corp CDDVDW TS-L633B DVD - RW, so decide simply ceased to read and write DVDs and CDs. When I insert a blank dvd, it will ask me to burn files to it but when I do, it complements the habit and will the useless DVDs. When I insert CD or DVD, the drive does not read it more.

Please help me on how to solve this problem.
    Thank you

    Hello

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

    Several good info here:

    ===========================================

This troubleshooting might not help if there are problems of alignment and wear it
    is worth it.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click the device - driver
Tab: click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then do a CLICK RIGHT to the road.
UNINSTALL - REBOOT this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the disc is not
    shown continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then check
in both ends of the cables. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For portable computers, you can
Often, clean power and contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the system
Designer and manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case
(Read burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD). It's not unusual for 1 or 2 parts to not
function, while others do so correctly.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
some registry entries that do not fix the resolution of problems and those who 'could' be the
    cause.

Check with your system manufacturer Maker and device for these two possible firmware updates
and the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys in my opinion, are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
of course there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys
in question as well as the parameters.

  • Need help for reading in parallel on the same interface and writing XNET

Hello. I need help to configure CAN interface to write and read from the same interface.

    I use NI PXI-8513/2. I use CAN1 as interface.

My had TO send status messages CAN every 100ms. I have to read in order to return akntoowlege to keep DUT CAN interface happy and not make mistakes.

So, I want to open Strim Session and readall frames in the loop. At the same time, I need to be able to write in a frame HAD at the time...

I only need to read one picture at a time too, but since I know the ID, I can pull it from the stream.

What I'm confusing all is how to put in place the same CAN1 interface to be able to write and read in parallel.

I think I would get errors that interface is already in use.

Since I'm new to CAN, I was read and write only when necessary. But, sometimes I was getting errors on my messages. Sometimes I get message, sometimes miss me. But, when I run CAN test criminal as sniffer he sends and written every time. I was told it's because it recognizes all messages.

I opened to suggestions of how best to implement the interface.

I guess I can use CAN2 and separator to work around this problem, but I would use an interface if possible.

    Thank you

    Hi Rus,

The XNET hadrware takes care of most of the low level of detials for you. The reading and writing of the circuits are both connected to the bus at any time. When you write to the hardware it will try to put a frame on the bus at the first opportunity he can. If the frame loses arbitration material re - will attempt to send the frame up is successful. Reception equipment monitor activity on the bus, regardless of what it conveys. The material received will usually throw a framework that was sent by communication equipment, but there is an Echo property pass to circumvent this behavior too.

Take a look at the example of the expedition: MAY-> NI - XNET-> Sessions-> multiple Sessions Intro-> CAN even exit entry framework Port unique Point.vi. Keep in mind that this example you will need to use a second CAN interface to recognize frames, it transmits. I would recoment against the example CAN output Frame Single Point which would mimic your ECU if you choose a type of cyclic frame running this example.

  • simultaneous reading and writing on a PDM file

I found similar discussions on here, but none that satisfied my problem. I'm running several loops within a vi, which writes data in a permanently .tdms file. Another loop to finish its task from the start in a test, and I want to transition this loop so that it accesses the file writing and started writing on a network. It also enables me to check that the data is being stored in the file and that it is corrupt.

I started with just the basics, but when I pass the second loop to read the file that is is always written off mistakes, saying that she met at the end of the file. It does if I put the count 1, -1 or anything in between. It illuminates, however, the end of the file output.

I have the entry in the file tdms on PDM read wired to a local variable, just as I do writing PDM, they all have both read the same thing and I get an iterations of a data value of the reading, so, apparently, file access is no problem. And I have to someone who cringed to local variables, ensure that reading and writing are not activated until the local variable is updated.

Try to set the "group name" entry on «TDMS read» If you write more than one group, you can use "View the contents of the DDHN" in order to get a list of groups.

  • simultaneous reading and writing files TDMS

A customer had a program written in 8.6; the programmer is no longer available and I'm looking to debug intermittent problems.

N - channels of data is acquired and streamed to a PDM file. The operator can select a channel to view data in real time, but the display is one scope table displaying 15 seconds worth of data and when switching of channels the program "returns" display with the last 15 seconds of a data value of the new string (barrier data extracted from the TDMS file).

What I notice here, aside from using sloppy cluster error, is that both references are open in the file - one for writing data and the other for recovery data. Is this a good practice? is it necessary or one reference supports the reading and writing? Is this a possible source of problems?

    thanx

    lmd2

You can do the same thing with a single file reference.

The issue of not being able to see the data that was written after the reading of reference has been opened is known for having refnums to open in two different processes, but not in the same executable or VI.

  • Reading and writing Excel File

Hi all. I need your help. I need to know how to read EXCEL FILE and insert it into a table of some. Also, can someone tell me how to write in an EXCEL FILE?

    Thank you in advance.

    READING EXCEL
There are several options how read file - ODBC, excel on a fly--> conversion to CSV excel (if you have 11.2 and you want to use tables external preprocessor),... I put (I think all) of the options on my BLOG http://jiri.wordpress.com/2010/01/04/load-ms-excel-file-to-oracle-database/

    WRITING IN EXCEL
Writing in excel is delicate because there is no direct way of Oracle, here are a few tips

1 JAVA - you can create java stored procedure, I did not test this, but it's probably doable http://www.java-tips.org/other-api-tips/jexcel/how-to-create-an-excel-file.html

    2. XML Excel format - you can use UTL_FILE and writing to XML Excel can read http://blogs.msdn.com/b/brian_jones/archive/2005/06/27/433152.aspx

3 Excel also reads the CSV files, but it's file plan text without formatting. You can use UTL_FILE to easily create a CSV (comma-delimited) file and read from excel, I have some examples on my blog http://jiri.wordpress.com/2009/03/18/oracle-fast-parallel-data-unload-into-ascii-files/
