    Try:

  • search for google to firefox 3.6.6 Windows 7 freezes on the first page

FIREFOX 3.6.6 FREEEZEZ ON THE FIRST GOOGLE SEARCH PAGE

    Dear Mozilla,

From the last update to the 3.6.6 when looking for something in GOOGLE the
Firefox will take you to the first page of search. Any attempt to click
on any other page or the results of arrow 'next' in a small box that appears
When you're clicking, then basically nothing.

That's all you get. The web address of the next search page appears in
the address bar, but the page never appears... Firefox lets you sit
    a page.

If you press the 'Refresh' icon of the browser will move to another
Indicated page but then it's all new.

You have McAfee Site Advisor installed, which increases because of problems especially with Google. If you try to disable it to see if Firefox works. Alternatively, you can try to install the latest version (3.3.1) of the Site Advisor, one has to work.

Mozilla plan on blocking older versions of McAfee Site Advisor Firefox 4 due to the problems they cause.

This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  • Weird message when clicking on the internet (IE, FIREFOX and CHROME)

When I want to connect to the internet with or any of the foregoing, I get this message.

    Run DLLS
    There was a problem starting C:\Program Files (x 86) music Toolbar\Datamngr\apcrtldr.dll.
I click on it and open the browser, I have chosen, no problem.
I have a problem do not have audio in CHROME. and decided to uninstall/reinstall. Unfortunately, I think, I downloaded the program which turns out to be is not the official site of GOOGLE and the toolbars that ensued in the application. The audio is fine in IE and Firefox.
First, I had problems uninstalling the toolbars of the Control Panel, and there is always one that just won't uninstall (MySearchDial).
I ran Microsoft Security Scanner, which showed no any virus, malware etc. I'm running MSE, updated daily.
Again, I cannot uninstall the application MySearchDial - even in Safe Mode, so I guess that's the root of the Run DLL missing or damaged.
The pc I have is a custom PC SPECIALIST UK version I received in 13 Dec.

The local part (en-US) seems to be missing from the URL:

The current versions of Firefox use the build-in on: home page to home as shown above, so you can change the home page to this URL.

  • When clicking on home will again blank page and homepage in the background

That could happen if you have a ' | ' keyboard characters in your homepage layout. This character is used to separate the URLs when you have a home page with several pages setting.

Not related to your question, but...

You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update if necessary:

  • When I go to google.co.uk, logos and text are tiny - other fine sites

All of a sudden yesterday, noticed that google.co.uk doesn't displays properly, either on the home page or results.

The logos are tiny and tiny and unreadable text.

All the other site is displayed correctly. Have you tried re-installing and different versions, but nothing changes. Shows very well in Internet Explorer.

    Tried everything, virus research.

    Any suggestion is welcome.

  • When I search the Acer site for drivers and manuals for the V3-575-71U5, nothing comes up. ???

I think the purchase of my first Acer after owning Asus laptops.

So the first thing you can do is to look for the drivers & manual Support for the model I'm considering.  ASUS support was good & I don't want to lose this.

When I enter it (V3-575-71U5) in the model search, nothing comes up.  So I look at below the model research inr select my product in a list; and there is just no PHONES listed there.

Am I missing something or is Acer support very missing?

    Thanks - Bob

    Thanx, Ace JB. Play well.

Acer call it a computer, a laptop in his description of the site, but apparently it's a laptop when looking for drivers. No sense to me. And Acer should provide hyperlinks to all drivers etc., right on the site of product description.

Thank you once again - Bob

  • When I start thesystem I get 2 errors in netdolst.dll and qWaves32.dll are missing

When I start thesystem I get 2 errors in netdolst.dll and qWaves32.dll are missing, how and where can I download free others these files, the computer works fine except that when I start the system is very slow, and then displays error messages I tried the system restore, but this does not seem worked either I don't think restore points do not appear to contain everything that I never really use the restore of the system but like I said system works well except that I am living in a retirement home and cannot afford these packages fantasies you can send me an email to * address email is removed from the privacy * I'd highly appreciate your help as soon as possible because I am one of those who dislikes computers I would prefer to give me error messages can you send me instructions instead of put in place on the forum you can do it too if you want to thank you for your help, I am not an expert in computers, so I need a step by step instructions

qWAVE.dll (without the "s32") is a legitimate file for Vista and Windows 7 but not XP.

Searches on Google for "qwaves32.dll" and "netdolst.dll" increase only highly questionable links.

When a search in no hits or suspicious hits result, the answer is usually that the file in question is linked to the malicious software and your anti-malware application has deleted or quarantined file, but left to the Windows registry entry that tries to start the malicious software when you start your computer.  Given that you know on torrents (and downloaded them?) increases the likelihood that you had (or still have) malicious software on your computer.

First of all, download, install, update and run both of these free analysis tools:
    MalwareBytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not run the scans at the same time.  They can take some time, so start an and then go for a non computer chore for awhile.

If the scans does not solve the problem (and they can't, because the actual malware dll file has already been processed), then download and run Autoruns.  Click on the "Connection" tab and look in the column 'Image path' for the dll named in your error message.  If it is not displayed in the connection tab, click the "all" tab and use the file > search tool.  A characteristic of the search of Autoruns tool is that you must move the selection under the element line "found" before you "Find Next."

Once you find the line with the file in question, either "delete" or (if you want to be safer) uncheck the box.  The latter prevents the line running, but you can reactivate it later by removing the check mark.

  • When attempting to open the windows updates, it opens an empty window and disappears.

    Update window won't pop up

So basically when I click on windows update window appears blank and disappears again. Any idea on what to do to fix? I don't know what happened and I don't know how to fix it. Maybe download something? But I don't know what.

Thanks for any help you can give

Quote: "the Windows Update forum is one of the three forums that doesn't have different forums for different versions of Windows (Internet Explorer and the game are the others)."  With this in mind, we ask that you postat LEAST the following information.  If you don't know how to find some of the information and then post what you can and let us know that you need help to find information.

    Minimum information to validate:
Version of Windows and Service pack level. (Windows XP Home Edition, SP3; Vista Home Premium, SP1; Windows 7 Ultimate, etc...)
Post also if you use 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows.

Update the number of the last update installed before any problem.  If you do not know the number of update, then give the date that the update has been installed.  The number of updates update failed.

Error code updates failed or if you think an update caused a blue screen, give the blue screen error codes.

    Other information to validate:
Measures already taken to correct the problem and the results of the measures.

If the question is never happened before with other updates.

A few other useful parts are:
What program antivirus you use, if it is up-to-date, and there has never been any other installed antivirus program.
If your version of Windows has been upgraded from a previous version or if it came with (or clean installed with) the version you are currently using.
