How to make or force the Save dialog box for the link pop-up in Dreamweaver
How do or force the Save dialog box for the pop-up link in Dreamweaver, legally?
I looked on google how to and what is the code for this but all the answers are to use php or javascript code and paste it into "Web page editor" and edit with your file name. I wonder what the 'legal' way to do that using Dreamweaver options for getting to this: when I click on my link to the image on my Web page, I created, pop-up "save under" dialog box, then the visitor of my site for can save file that my site wish to offer for download.
It is very easy to just a link certain file (in my case is png image) and open in a new page in the browser, but I want to save as dialog window appears and then visitor on my site to save my png file or not.
Help!
You will need to use a script. If your server supports PHP, this will do what you want. Change filename & path to point to your download folder. SaveAs download.php.
Place a link on your page parent download.php file.
/* Using PHP to force a file download This short script forces a file download. Use of this script has a side-effect of hiding the location of the file on your server. */ // full server path to file to be downloaded (including filename and extension - jpg, mp3, zip, doc, etc...) $Path2File = "path/filename.png"; // the filename $theFileName = "filename.png"; //the work gets done here header ("Cache-Control: must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0"); header ("Content-Type: application/octet-stream"); header ("Content-Length: " . filesize($Path2File)); header ("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=$theFileName"); readfile($Path2File); ?>

Whenever I put a disc in my dvd player, a dialog really embarrassing opens asking me what I want to do with the contents of the disc. I can't find any obvious way to stop it.
Anyone know the secret?
Hi Alan,
This box appears because Windows didn't say what to do with the content it finds on the disk. Part of the installation for Windows includes this type of information so that the application will be launched when a disc is inserted.
There are two ways to deal with it: -.
1. when the dialog box appears, select the application you want to use for the type of disc, and then click the checkbox "always use this application. Then in the future of the dialog box will not appear and the application will launch automatically. (Note that you will need to do this for each type of content on the disc you are using.) You can even choose an option "Time to Action No." If you wish.
2. you can disable the optical drive AUTO play feature so that Windows will not attempt to launch applications at all when a disc is inserted. It is up to you to start some application that you want to use with the disc you have loaded. (The best way to proceed is to use the Microsoft TWEAKUI application, which is part of the software available on the web site of Microsoft Powertoys).

box for the registration of equipment keeps popping up
Hi, I know this probably sounds stupid, but the box that asks you to register your equipment keeps popping up, how can I permanently disable? I recorded my equipment and it always happens. Help, please.
Hello
You are welcome
Open windows control panel, open administrative tools, and open Task Scheduler. Click once on the Task Scheduler Library to highlight and look for an entry called "Webreg". Left-click this time to highlight it, then right click and select Disable. Restart the Pc for the change to take effect.

Error "Unloading the box" for the download of victory 8
I had a problem after another trying to get the 8 upgrade win. First of all, even if Microsoft has validated my record ID, I could never get to the stage for the upgrade. Instead, I was taken into a page to pay full for win 8 or Win 8 Pro. I spend about an hour last night with Microsoft technical support. No one could discover the problem. Finally, I agreed to buy the product at full price and take out a loan for the total. Now when I access my account at Microsoftstore.com, I have all the information on the order. But when I start the download process I get this message when running the executable: unloading of the box. An error has occurred. Unspecificed error. OK
I did a complete restore of the system several days ago and then added all the updates on the computer that I use to download. He has Win XP with SP3 installed and no AV installed (fear that it interferes with the download). (I got the upgrade with the purchase of a Win 7 machine this last fall and to install the upgrade on the XP machine for now.)
Updates, that I initiated on two other computers have finished without any problem, so I feel comfortable with the process. However, the third effort seems to be missing the "charm" of the first two.
Thank you for your help.
This change solved my problem. I found the information after a search on the web.
http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_8-windows_install/problem-initiating-Windows-8-Upgrade-Assistant/a81a2b80-F032-46EC-a0e6-4512aa8bcbf4?page=3
The problem seems to be that a service (Terminal Services) under Win XP does not start when necessary as part of the download process.
Go to my computer. Right click and choose manage. Choose Services | Highlight the Server Terminal Services | Right click and choose Properties.
Change the manual setting to automatic. (Note that on the site, some users choose a different setting, but auto allows the service to run at startup.) Close and restart the computer.
I hope it's useful to others.

Formatting check box for the conditional statements in Adobe Acrobat format, form editor
I'm looking for the format I should use boxes in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, forms, Java Script Editor. I am very familiar with this, as well as the use of the IF / AND statements. I'm NOT using LiveCycle.
Algorithm:
-If either CB1 or CB2 are checked, then empty, equal
-Si CB2 is checked then equal "N/a".
D ' other...
I don't know how I should be charged the formula. I was also curious, I noticed in the properties of the box that the value of exports could be retained. I've seen different variables, including here, Yes, 0, 1, True, etc. Will there be an impact on the code?
var v1 = + this.getField ("Check Box1") .value;
var v2 = + this.getField ("Check Box2") .value;If ((v1 == "") & (v2 == "")) event.value = "";
ElseIf (v2! == 'Off') event.value = "n/a";
else event.value = ("... ») ;
Any help is greatly appreciated.
-Yes, of course. If you change the value of the export of the boxes - and then you have to adjust your code accordingly to take into account.
-The value of a checkbox that is unchecked is always "Off".
-When you add the symbol '+' before this.getField("XXX").value you want to convert it to a number. That doesn't look like a good idea in your case, then you should drop.
-L' Boolean AND operator in JS is &, not &.

Dialog boxes for the interface user uses the wrong font
Don't know how to explain it. Windows 7 x 64 bit with adobe reader 10.1.10. It seems that the dialog box for example use a courier font. Don't know what it is supposed to be using. Forums suggest Segoe. I went into regedit and here's what I see here, but when I go in c:\windows\fonts, I see only 5 fonts listed. Microsoft has an update of symbol Segoe font but do not know if this is what I have to replace all of these missing fonts or if that's still the problem. This isn't only the dialog box, this whole adobe reader has this particular font. S Windows 7 fonts, however, are not at all this font and displays correctly anywhere else. Any suggestions?
Hi mo4ya2000,
Try the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution.

Text box for the title of master InDesign
I want the positions and areas of text paragraph styles used on slide masters to stay the same on every page, regardless of the text in the box. As much as I know InD does not? Let me explain. I don't think I use InD commonly used. I use it as a more robust PowerPoint (MS Paint do you think vs Photoshop). I use it for the graphical flexibility and I use A LOT of HAVE graphics and make interactive PDF presentations, etc. My biggest beast with InD is with page titles. Imagine a title on each page, which all have the same paragraph style and specific location. Every page has unique text for the title, but I want the paragraph styles and positions remain the same, or better yet, to update the need later via a master page. Sometimes our presentations will be worked on my many people. Because as they put some text in the text block and tile, they override the master page text frame and where are allowed to move inadvertently. When all the sections back together the titles of the pages are free to bounce around page to page; albeit very subtly. With a terrace of more than 100 pages, it takes a significant amount of time to readjust all the titles of the page again. Which in my mind is an important aspect to have masters in total.
The best work around is to use chapter markers. And they work great until the needs of title, a jump of line and then everything goes to poop because line breaks allow no chapter markers...
I wish there was a way to break the master text block substitutions while keeping format constraints. It is the ONLY of PowerPoint feature I've wanted that ind did. If anyone has a clever work around or better understand, I would be grateful.
Master frameworks should work properly. You can pre style and lock them to position, and then change the application preferences to allow selection of locked objects.

[* 3] it works fine if I use the default option of line by Ctel selection + A, or by pressing Ctrl + click or SHIFT + arrow key. Backing bean is not the issue.*
[4] try to intercept the TableSelection Listner also.
It comes
When I select the check box, only the last selected line is processed and not all lines. How to make the selectable online by clicking on the checkbox.

I wonder if I need to install the ODI software on top of the WebLogic that was installed on the machine virtual windows. The version of weblogic 10.3.6(11g) and the jdk is jdk1.7.0_4 on two VMS.
