  In terms of Thin Client, HPDM is the single management tool published by HP.

  In your case, are all of your thin clients running with Windows CE? If so, you can use the old version of HPDM (4.4.3) who fully support this.

  If your thinclients are with different operating systems, it is best to contact the special support team.

• Type of transaction SOUL in the management of users (additional access authorization)

  We are looking for use the feature "Request additional access" self-service in the user management to allow existing users to request additional responsibilities (we're on EBS 12.1.3, all user access is entirely in EBS without integration of SSO).

  I was able to set up so that it works very well if no approval is required for the new responsibility, but we would also like some requiring approval of line manager/supervisor until responsibility is granted - documentation related to the management of users tells us that we can add a Type of Transaction SOUL in the field "Type of Transaction for approval" when creating a new registration process , but nothing more than that. I wonder if someone could point me to any more detailed documentation that would help us to work on the question of whether we can use an existing transaction of the SOUL - or how to create a new one for this particular task?

• How can I manage multiple users?

  My wife and I want to organize and modify our digital photos with PSE10.  So far, I've managed all our photos by myself, and I synced all of the data on both of our computers (and all of our data is backed up on an external hard drive).  Now that my wife wants to also organize and edit our photos on his computer, I find it difficult to synchronize the PSE catalogues and photos on our two computers.  So, I'm looking for a process better.

  I have to respect (and I can) my catalog PSE & Photos:

  (1) an external hard drive (which would be connected to a single computer at a time, while this computer user organizes and photo editing), or

  (2) on a home network location where two users could access photos to organize and edit (with a "lock-out" for the photos that are being edited by the user of the computer)?

  Are there other good or better procedures to manage multiple users of the PSE?

  My computer is running Win7 Home Premium 64-bit.
  My wife's computer is running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit.

  It's an interesting problem!

  There may be different solutions, but they are not just technical, they also depend on how you want to cooperate.

  In your case, you have two powerful PC with enough disk space. I would say that on the other hand, you will need an external drive for backups.

  Technically, you try to use different catalogs with the same holder in the same folders is bound to create great problems and probably a big mess.

  What you want is totally different synchronization: each of you will have its own organization.

  So what can you share without problems?

  -The same source media... But in your case, I would definitely have a duplicate for each of you to organize in different catalogues. This gives you total independence to cull, tag, keyword and change. It would allow you to have different results. You would take advantage of the full speed and disk space on your computer. And after all, which would be a very useful backup.

  -Your own organization and editing work? How can you 'Exchange' your work?

  Source files: for example, at the level of the inpul, you agree that you enter, tag and change the batch. You write metadata in files and export the batch which will become the record of entry to one of you. Note that already the marked pictures can be easily and quickly labeled to your liking.

  Output files: same idea, export then copy to another computer and import into the catalog.

  Here, if the marking was done in agreement with you two, you can even 'stack' images using the automatic Visual similarity tagging help.

• Vista - unable to manage another user account

  Control Panel > user accounts > manage another account > 'screen' - permission to continue > continue > "choose the account you want to change." =

  During the initial connection to the computer, I have 3 other user accounts on the main login screen. Two of which I can log in with their password.

  I had a bit of google but cannot find anything. We are an MSP and manage the ASA firewall for several clients. We seek to deploy firepower on ASA5500x models for customers with the VMware virtual appliance for management firepower to customers locally.

  Is there a way to centrally monitor multiple firepower installs? We have alerts email for events of the intrusion, but looking for something a little more fancy for a view of AC type.

  Maintenance rules and air we would always use installation for a more detailed analysis and local would look us at the interface of local firepower.

  There is not a 'Manager of managers' for several FireSIGHT management centres (new name for the old centre of defence).

  Of course a particular CMF can manage multiple sensors / modules ASA firepower but a given sensor or module cannot be managed by a single WCF.

  I am trying to identify the point of failure in communication between a pool of related clones and the view connection server - which prevents the management console to see if-and-who is connected to a particular linked clone VM.

  He showed the status of 'User' correctly in the past, but after several re-compositions and to implement a McAfee Firewall required on the connection server, composer and each Linked-Clone - it stopped. Windows Firewall is disabled machines.

  I spent some time already tuning firewall McAfee to enable all required traffic and services and everything works - it seems fair that he is unable to take inventory on the linked clones with regard to if someone is logged in one.

  I suppose that the Agent view handles make this info on the login server, but I can't seem to identify the communication which is apparently filtered, when everything else seems to work in the infrastructure of the view.

  It may be a stretch but check the Userinit registry key located at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogin.   You want to ensure that C:\Program VMware View\Agent\bin\wssm.exe is specified in this key as will facilitate the session/user information to the broker for the connections once connected.
