  Hello

  I have a couple of servers UCS C220 M3 and to install certificates on them.

  CA will not issue certificates with a 1024 module that seems to be the default created when generating a signature request using the GUI. The GUI I cannot put the module to a higher value.

  I searched in the CLI, but it doesn't seem to be an option to do here.

  The CLI guide said that there should be an 'extended security' cli command that would allow me to do this, but it is not present on my server of series C, so I think it might be available on the B series servers?

  Anyone know if it is possible to change the module to 1024 which generation CSR on this model of server?

• Request for certificate signing request

  When my signed SSL CA certificate expires, as he has done right, I have to have pay the access provider, (b) submit a CSR, (c) download the signed certificate, (d) import it into my file of keys etc.
  
  My question is what I really need to generate a new CSR? Or (assuming that I use the same key pair) can I just use the same CSR I presented the first time?
  
  And as an auxiliary question should I take the possibility of generating a new key pair? and a new CSR?

  If you just want to renew your certificate, then the CSR even should be OK. However, some cases don't care about renewals and treat it simply as a new application.
  For what is to generate a new key pair, it depends really what is your certificate. If its purely for a Web site, then it would not really matter since browsers simply trust the certificate if the CA is approved, etc... However, if your certificate is used to send or signature items, so it would be more important to keep your existing key pair and renew it in fact with the same CSR.

  I'm trying to sign my application of webbworks for the playbook, but I cannot, here is the process of me, packaging and then try to sign. I can install non signed bar file fine but I can't seem to sign.

  This can be caused by trying to sign the same version of the application.  Try incrementing the value of the version property in your config.xml file (or use the command line parameter - buildId) and sign again.

  I have been a token of debugging and apps on my device Z10 hundreds of times from the command line and Momentics but this time I am confused.

  I am trying to create a token of debugging (in command line and Momentics) and deploy it in my Z10 camera, but it does not work.   In both cases, I get the following error.

  This has been fixed on both of your accounts.  It was a problem of account setup.  We're looking at what caused it to prevent it from happening in the future.

  I'm trying to sign the BAR file generated from the apk files, but I got this error:

  I tried to redownlowd the file CSK again and again, did a lot of things but not luck.

  Thank you for sending via manifest file.  The error is caused by the name of the application you are using.  There is a limitation of the number of characters that can be used for an application name.  The number of characters will vary according to the type of encoding used, in this case it would be 7.

  The workaround for this solution, use our tool is to define an application name by default using Latin based on characters and then add names localized for each supported language.  These localized names do not have this limit.  For comparison, here's how it's done using BlackBerry Momentics: How to define an Application as the characters name Unicode requires the default name would only be used if a localized name is not available for the language of the user.

  Android also supports localized names of applications, so the similar process should work there too.

• Native installer with ID Apple Developer certificate signing

  I am signing my AIR OSX app with Flash Builder to 'Export Release Build' 4.6 option. For this I use certificate 'Developer ID application' Apple in order to install and run my application on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion.

  After you have identified the correct certificates in the chain and exporting all p12 format (I chose 'Developer ID of Application', 'CA Developer ID' and 'Apple Root CA' within the Keychain Access on my Mac application) I got the following error: "error of creation of the native installer: packaging failed.» Make sure that your computer's time is synchronized and your certificate is valid.

  Yes, I did. I created Apple Developer ID request certificate on the Apple web site. I imported this to Keychain Access by double-clicking the .cer file downloaded. I also checked that I had installed the certificates Developer ID certification authority CA root and Apple. Then I used utility codesign of the terminal to sign all the binaries in the .app folder and the folder itself. In my case that boiled down to:

  gperes, I came across this same issue with a Cisco device that had a default self-signed certificate.

  Preferences - Advanced - Encryption - view certificates - * authorities *.

  There was an authority named "IOS-self-signed" or something like that since the Cisco device. That deletion, then by restarting Firefox solved the problem for me.

  What has helped me find that being able to seek used Safari to go to the device and display the SSL info. Hatred that Firefox (21.0) you completely blocks and is not even you can view cert info. FIX Mozilla! I would like to at least see the cert.

  Trying to solve the problem where multiple computers to client in the organization use a root CA certificate deployed internally (before my time and not longer required) to sign the for external Web sites, for example google.co.uk end-entity certificate. All SSL sites seem to be affected by this.

  

  However this is not the case, as subdomains of websites with questions show the correct cert chain, here it is for mail.google.com

  Remove or untrusting this ca cert root breaks access to these sites.

  I have reset certificates in various ways, deleted root domain, not applied any GPO, manually updated CRL and machines pulled down to day CERT with rootsupd.exe.

  He always tries to use this red CA cert to sign the cert of Web sites.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I have a Cisco ASA 5510, which is used for our VPN. It has an externally signed certs from Digicert. I replace the 5510 with a Cisco 5545 and wondered with ASDM can I save the cert of the 5510 and give the 5545. Or should I get an another reissued certs from Digicert and install from scratch. Is there something to look out for that set games with public/private keys, etc. Please let me know.

  As long as you want just to maintain the certificate configuration, it is what you need to.
  Make sure that you install the root and root under new ASA certificate as well as one can extract this PKCS12 certificate.

  Our security policy requires that all web pages admin must be signed by our CA business. I have successfully implemented a SSL certificate 3rd party Auth Web our WLAN of comments, but I need to install a self-signed certificate for the management of the WLC himself. I followed the instructions here:

  (1) Please use a password. Empty passwords regularly give problems.

  (2) you don't recombine the key with the certificate before you download to the WLC:

  Combine the CA.pem certificate with the private key, and then convert the file to a .pem file.

  Type this command in the OpenSSL application:

  openssl>pkcs12 -export -in CA.pem -inkey mykey.pem -out CA.p12 -clcerts

  Note: In this command, you must enter a password for the parameters -passin' and -passout . The password is set to the setting -passout must match the setting SubscriptionId is configured on the WLC. In this example, the password is configured at the time the -passin' and settings -passout is check123. Step 4 of the procedure in the section download the WLC third certificate of this document deals with the configuration of the SubscriptionId parameter.

  The final.pem is the file that is transferred via TFTP to the Cisco WLC.

  Now that you have the certificate of the third-party CA, you must download the certificate to the WLC.
