• EPMA Server Service not started in Hyperion 11.1.2.2

  Hi all
  
  We have updated version Hyperion 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.2 on existing servers (windows Server 2003).
  In the updated version, we are able to see all the workspace, Essbase applications.
  
  In the version 11.1.1.3, EPMA also, so we we have upgraded applications EPMA (using the existing database)
  
  But in the version 11.1.2.2, EPMA Server service not started.

  I installed Hyperion 11.1.2.2 Essbase, Planning, EPMA, Manager calculation, FDM and HFM in the single machine in windows server 2008 R2.
  
  but I am faced with two questions.
  
  1. in the services, EPMA Server service not started.
  2. in the FDM, I get the error by putting with Essbase.
  Error: Impossible to retrieve data from the system target.
  
  Is something, I have to install more?

  On your database of EPMA, make sure that you set
  READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT ON
  ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION ON

• microscada service not started

  I installed a program that runs on microscada service but the service does not start every time that I run the program, they have all admin previledges

• Security/firewall services not started: I think error 1068 - dependent on a device on something?

  I have two identical computers running on broadband, a center of safety works w/firwal, malware, etc. everything works; the other said the Security Service was stopped or not started; application if you want to start (yes/no), click Yes, and then msg cannot start dependent on certain devices or something; Error 1068 I think.  so, can't turn firewall (same MSG), change settings or anything like that.  think that someone may have tried to do something and it didn't work.  I am admin with several users limited on the pc of the community.  just installed Micro Security Essentials (on both PCs). only has this problem-practically the same thing in software & hardware.

  any help?

  There is a Security Center service in Windows XP, there is no "security services".
  Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) is not disable the native XP firewall and it is not a firewall.

• Event log do not service not start or stops running - how to fix?

  I spent the last 2 weeks of installation of windows 7 and my apps on this box. Almost everything was working except for a few items, sound service continues to stop and must be manually restarted, Windows Explorer stops and restarts once in a while and silverlight will not be installed.

  Then... I'll look at the event logs and get this message that says that the "event log service is not available. Verify that the service is running.

  I looked at the list of services system, started something that looked like he had to do with the event logs and performance logs services but still no luck with the event logs.

• EPMA, Calc Services not started after configuration

  We have installed Hyperion 11.1.2.2 in 3 servers.
  Server 1: Foundation, Reporting, Planning, and deployment laso all web applications
  Server 2: EPMA, Calc Manager, Essbase Admin services
  : 3 Essbase Server
  Installation and configuration completed successfully.
  
  but in Server 2 EPMA, Manager of Calc, Essbase Administration Services service has not started.
  When I start, try to start manually, after a certain time when I click on refresh its goes down

  Make sure weblogic admin server is running, and then try to start the web application and see if it makes a difference. Looks like this is not able to encrypt the user name and password used to create the weblogic domain.

  srvctl start service d dbname will start any service for a database. You can add the switch-s to start a specific service. If a service is set with preferred be on sid one and available on sid2, you may need to move a srvctl service dbname d s service_name back to sid1.

  Since the paths you've shared, I believe that you use weblogic 12 c, is that correct?

  Under the audit section, you will find that the "wlsvc" command should be used instead of 'beasvc '... [EDIT: If you are running 64-bit Windows, then use the command "wlsvcX64"]

  32-bit: wlsvc-debug "yourServiceName".

  64-bit: wlsvcX64-debug "yourServiceName".

  I suggest running the command to check the installation of the service

  At this point in the product, it is only for a server with a local US configured when the server is initially created. I don't know when we will have the support of other regional settings.
  If you create a new server and set up initially for a US language it must install and works without a problem.

  This can happen if the Srvsvc.dll library is missing or damaged. Try the steps mentioned inthis article and check the result.

  If you don't have a Windows XP CD, try the following steps:
  a. find the Srvsvc.dll on Windows file using the XP search feature.
  See How to search for files and folders in Windows XP
  b. copy the Srvsvc.dll present in the i386 folder and pasted to the location: : \Windows\System32 folder.
  Où : is the drive where Windows XP is installed.
  c. Once you have copied and replaced the file, restart the computer and check if the problem persists.

  The upgrade pushed my host to vcenter 2 GB piddly on the edge, and/or java vm I guess.

  I did climb to 4 GB ram and now it works fine.

  I went through the complete upgrade today from vCenter 4.1 and 5.1, installation simple installation: SSO, inventory server and vCenter Server.  All this went great.  Finally, I installed the Server Web Client.  He isntalled everything is good.  Entirely, I expected to skate about now.  But I couldn't go to https://vcenter.domain.com:9443 /.  Checking, I see the "VMware vSphere Web Client" service not started.  It will not start.
