  On your database of EPMA, make sure that you set
  READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT ON
  ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION ON

  We have installed Hyperion 11.1.2.2 in 3 servers.
  Server 1: Foundation, Reporting, Planning, and deployment laso all web applications
  Server 2: EPMA, Calc Manager, Essbase Admin services
  : 3 Essbase Server
  Installation and configuration completed successfully.
  
  but in Server 2 EPMA, Manager of Calc, Essbase Administration Services service has not started.
  When I start, try to start manually, after a certain time when I click on refresh its goes down

  Make sure weblogic admin server is running, and then try to start the web application and see if it makes a difference. Looks like this is not able to encrypt the user name and password used to create the weblogic domain.

  At this point in the product, it is only for a server with a local US configured when the server is initially created. I don't know when we will have the support of other regional settings.
  If you create a new server and set up initially for a US language it must install and works without a problem.

  I successfully updated and configured the EMP products but when I start the server the EPMA Service its not not fixed the error giving "the Oracle Hyperion EPMA Server Service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some Services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"

  What I've observed, it's that when I upgraded from 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.3, it installs automatically two customers Oracle (32 and 64-bit) on

  the server. But Server customer already has Oracle installed on it.

  I looked in path Variables.

  PATH=C:\app\product\11.2.0\client_2\bin; C:\app\product\11.2.0\Client_1\bin;

  He also added check the TNS_ADMIN environment variable pointing to the Environment Variable

  TNS_ADMIN = C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\config\dbclient

  and I changed it to

  and I am also able to ping and also connect to the database but I when to start the EPMA Server Service.

• Wireless Pan DHCP Server will not start... Error: Static Interfaces/Listening Ports not available

  I had trouble not getting no connection with WiFi, after weeks of allsorts following advice on forums etc, I found that the Wireless Pan DHCP Server does not start with error: Static Interfaces/Listening Ports is not available. my understanding is that the ports UDP 67/68, but when I run a Netstat I don't see them in the list. I checked windows firewall and they seem to be set to DHCP.

  Any ideas would be useful.

• Essbase server does not start

  I 9.3.1 installed essbase version. There was a sudden unknown physical closing down of the computer on which essbase. After that the essbase server does not start. Also I am not able to uninstall essbase. Even when I reinstall the problem remains still.

  So the answer I gave was correct?

• LabView 2013 or 2014 Web Application Server does not start.

  I have a request that I built in 2013 of LabView that uses the Web application server OR. The application worked until end November 2014 when the Web in LabView 2013 application server has stopped working. Specifically, 2 and 1) NI NI Application Server Web services) Web Server system both were running, but I was unable to access web pages that I created earlier, or I could access the Configuration Web page OR localhost:3582. In addition, the button "Configure Web Application Server" under "Options/Web Server" is gray. Makes me think that web services NOR did not start successfully upward. Complete a repair facility OR to the LabView 2013 install did not help either.

  Since the opening of a service ticket with NEITHER, I've now deleted and reinstalled the 2013 LabView and LabView 2014 each with the latest patches. But the problem persists.

  The ticket OR for that matter now rests with RnD, so I'm tender hand to the community OR to see if anyone sees something similar? Or has any ideas to try?

  Some additional notes:

  (1) contrary to LabView LabView 2013 2014 no web services NOR would begin, based on a new for 2014 dependence on the Authentication Service of NOR. In 2014 this service does not either.

  (2) when I uninstall 2014 and re-install 2013, chess happens again (as above).

  (3) my system runs Win 7 Pro x 64 with 8 GB of RAM.

  (4) I have McAfee virus scanner/firewall. I have disabled and even uninstalled without correcting the problems.

  At this point any ideas to try would be greatly appreciated, because I can't wipe my OS and start over.

  I finally found a solution to this problem. The solution is the following:

  1. Delete the two files "C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\NIAuth"
     • commitmark.1
     • Registry.bin
  2. Restart the OS and re-launching of LabView.

  On the next reboot, LabView recreates these two files and the Web services OR Windows services start normally. Once NI WebService which works normally.

  I'm assuming that one or both of these files has become corrupted at some point, that has kept the WebServices OR start properly. But as none of the services OR created an error event Windows for that matter, I stayed to search for the solution. And since the installer NOR has not remove or repair any of these files, the question continues to no matter how many times I have re-installed LabView on my system.

• Web server does not start

  I get the following errors in the log file:

  default: 2 appwebStartThread starting named host: "LabVIEW".
  default: 1 appwebStartThread error: could not open a socket to 192.168.1.2, port 80
  default: 1 appwebStartThread error: HTTP cannot listen on 192.168.1.2:80
  default: 0 appwebStartThread could not start the server

  BUT as C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 8.6\ www\index.html says:

  If the Web of LabVIEW server does not use port TCP/IP 80, enter the following URL in the address field of Web browser (where port is the port number that uses the Web of LabVIEW server): http://localhost:port / examples.htm.

  Now the two example: creating a Web Service (Windows) of the help of LabView and the book.lvproj work address OR example finder.

• Terminal Server service not activated

  I downloaded McAfee total protection in October.  It would work for a day or two, then I get a message that wouldn't update.  I have uninstalled & installed four times, contact McAfee three times.  The last time I have contacted, I was told that Services Terminal Server for Windows is not running.  It is disabled and this is why the critical updates for McAfee will not download.

  By McAfee, I learned that I had to contact Microsoft to get a Server Terminal Services active again.

  I suggest you to check whether or not the Terminal Server service is enabled on the system. Follow the steps mentioned below.

  a. Click Start and click Run.

  b. type services.msc in the Run dialog box and press ENTER to open the services window.

  c. find the Terminal Server service on the system and right-click on it.

  d. set the startup type to automatic and then click apply and then click ok.

  e. now checks to see if you are able to download the update for McAfee on the system.

• The Terminal Server service to start, get the message "system error has occurred."

  I just reinstalled Windows 7 Professional and the first and the only thing I did was performed in the command prompt to enable remote desktop:

  netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group="remote desktop" new enable=YesWhen I try to connect via RDP, it does not work and that is because term service is not started nor will it start. I open an elevated command prompt and type "net start termservice" and I get error 5. In services.msc it does not let me start it and it displays an error.
  

  NOTE: THIS MIGHT BE IN THE WRONG WINDOWS TOPIC SINCE I COULDN'T FIND A TOPIC THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BEST FIT MY SITUATION.

• DHCP server does not start - the storage control block address is invalid.

  I use a trial version of the Pro Workstation 12.1.1 on Windows 10. I seem to have a strange problem where the DHCP service does not start.

  I tried to go into the virtual network editor and then restore the default settings, which had no effect.

  The event viewer displays the following text:

  Checked the service and it runs under a local, verified system account permissions on the config dhcp / rental file in c:\programdata\vmware\ and both have system configured to full control. I tried to run the vmnetdhcp.exe in a command prompt to we hope to get additional information, but cannot be executed directly. I can't figure out how to get out of documented logging dhcp server in order to track down what could be the culprit.

  I tried to uninstall workstation, restart, reinstall, restart both unsuccessfully. I had version 9 workstation that was installed previously, in which the trial upgrade.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Figured it out.

  It appears during the workstation installation 9, he placed vmnetdhcp and vmnetnat in c:\windows\syswow64 folder. Pro 12 workstation puts these files in the default directory (C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\VMware workstation). The service was always pointing to the old location even SysWow64 after an uninstall and reinstall.

  I replaced the files SysWow64 folder workstation and services started right up.

  Checked the work by selecting NAT and gets an IP address from the host machine.
