cfquery return not new records

I'm trying to pull the top two dates (datadate) to a SQL database so that I can do some calculations of ouput. The strange thing is, is that for one of my 'farmid' any new data is not returned in the query. Most of the recordings were imported into SQL in an excel spreadsheet and they all work. Those who doesn't seem to work have been input through a web form, although some people seem to work as well (it's all very random). Y at - it a cache or a clue, I might need to clear or rebuild for new records is displayed in this query? The same missing 'datadates' are more simple another query. I tag #datevalue # to see to make sure that the correct record is used in the query and it is, but for new records, it locates only two dates below.

< name cfquery = "getdatedata" datasource = 'dairy products' >
SELECT MAX (std. DataDate) as DD1.
MIN (std. DataDate) as DD2.
DateDiff (d, MIN (std. DataDate), MAX (std. DataDate)) AS DDiff
Of
(select high datadate 2)
OF dairy.dbo.summarydata
WHERE FarmId =' #session.data.farmid #'
AND
datadate between dateAdd ("d",-28, #datevalue #)
and #datevalue #) AS std
< / cfquery >

It's actually the query. This corrects the problem.

SELECT MAX (std. DataDate) as DD1.
MIN (std. DataDate) as DD2.
DateDiff (d, MIN (std. DataDate), MAX (std. DataDate)) AS DDiff
Of
(select high datadate 2)
OF dairy.dbo.summarydata
WHERE FarmId =' #session.data.farmid #'
AND DataDate > = dateAdd (day,-28, convert (datetime, #datevalue #, 120))
AND DataDate< dateadd(day,1,="" convert(datetime,="" #datevalue#="" ,="">
ORDER BY datadate DESC) AS std

What is even more strange is that this code works on my colleagues dev system which is identical to mine. In addition, this code worked for my system a few months ago.

In any case, I have now to separate the two in separate sql statements < cfquery > tags. However, this is not ideal because I want the queries to run in the same session in PostgreSQL to prevent the reading of other transactions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated:

I don't think this is true if the INSERT statement is first because, as I mentioned in my previous posts, we have this same code on other systems and it works properly. In addition, I do not receive even a blank record, the value of the request INSERT object because it is not yet set and generates an error when I try to cfdump or use the cfquery variables.

I'll look into that. It may be a setting in one of the files in config PostgreSQL.

Thank you. I forgot the cftransaction tag. I changed the two queries and wrapped in a with a serializable lock cftransaction tag. This should prevent the incorrect readings.

Very strange situation with a system of work fine and the other is not. Maybe I'll look into it later.
Thank you again for your help.

• When to start a new record, record red frame shows, but a grey square with the settings/registration/cancellation is not

I use my Captivate 3 successfully for many moons now. However, now when I go to create a new record, I choose Custom size/full screen/Application. The Red recording box is displayed, but the corresponding box pop up that allows users to select what program to record, which mode (manual/full motion) to use and the 'save' button does not appear. I uninstalled and reinstalled Captivate 3. I downloaded all the updates. I'm stuck. To exit the red zone, I have to right-click in Captivate in the Windows taskbar and exit the program. Help, please. I'm on my work. My environment has not changed (that I know). I don't see what can happen to cause it, but I could use some suggestions you have. I work remotely and feel like I'm living on an island called 'technology of hell '.

Hello

It may be that you need to reset your settings to Captivate file.

• Select new record in a txt file

Hello world
I have Forms 6i and I have the following procedure where I'm only putting the new record that I entered on the .txt file.
It is what I have so far, but the procedure always bringing all records and not only the new one I entered.

Get_file_contents PROCEDURE IS
Salida Varchar2 (1000);
Compañía Varchar2 (5);
Number of alert: = 0;
OUT_FILE Text_IO. Type_de_fichier;
nSchoolId Varchar2 (5);
nStudentId Varchar2 (15);
number of nDummy;
-in_file Text_IO. Type_de_fichier;
-linebuf Varchar2 (1000);

Function Abre_Archivo
Return boolean is

BEGIN
OUT_FILE: = Text_IO. Fopen(:file_name,'r');
Return (true);
exception
While others then
Return (false);
END;

BEGIN
go_block ('MY_TABLE');
clear_block (no_validate);

If Abre_Archivo then
OUT_FILE: = Text_IO. Fopen(:file_name,'r');
End if;
-Validation;

LOOP
Text_IO. Get_Line (OUT_FILE, Salida);
nSchoolId: = substr (Salida, 1, instr(Salida,';',1,1)-1);
nStudentId: = substr (Salida, instr(Salida,';',1,1) + 1, (instr(Salida,';',1,2)-instr(Salida,';',1,1))-1);

If nDummy = 0 Then

-: MY_TABLE. STATUS: = 'A ';

next_record;
End if;
Synchronize;
END LOOP;

Text_IO. Fclose (OUT_FILE);
premier_enregistrement;
Exception when No_Data_Found then
delete_record;
Text_IO. Fclose (OUT_FILE);
premier_enregistrement;
END;

It seems that your select returns no records. The student card that extract you the string is incorrect. Put a message after your selection to show the value of nDummy.

• How do I create a branch to the form after you have created a new record

Hello

I created a master/daetail form with detail on the same page.
It works very well.
When you create a new record, on the details of the page, you enter the data, and you click Ok.
Then you are directed to the main form, a report containing the lines of recordings.
You must then click on the link in the column to change the record to add details.

I want to do it is to branch directly on the same page after you create the record. Order to dot Hat I created a branch whith the value equal to CREATE demand.
And the target is the same page. The problem is to the value of the primary key. This KP is created after sending, and it is not possible to recover because it is created right now. I hope I'm clear.

To sum up the question: how to create a branch immediately to the same page after creating a new record?

I have the page on

[http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=4550 | http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=4550]

The workspace is ESPACE2008
Is the user name: guest
the password is: noproblem

The long form is page 42.
The main form is page 41
Unfoirtunately tables are not available.
You can see the process of branch No. 50 on page 42.

Thank you very much for your help.

Christian

Christian,

I couldn't connect to your ws because I don't think that your guest user has developer privileges. But have you tried 'Back in the agenda key' property in the region of origin of your page DML process. This should return the value of the primary key newly generated in a page element when the page is loaded.

Anthony.

• My PC crashed. Restored on a new record and a new installation of FireFox. I can still access all the files. How do I take the old bookmarks if there is no backup?

My PC crashed. Restored on a new record and a new installation of FireFox. I can still access all the files on the old drive. How do I take the old bookmarks if no backup exists, or has been completed? Does not save bookmarks of FireFox auto? If, then what is the file name and where is normally stored by FireFox?

In fact, it can be easier...

If you have the old drive connected as, say, drive E, go to:

E:\Users\username

Then click in the address bar and paste it after this and press ENTER to open it:

\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Normally, you have only one file, which has a random string followed by "default." In this case, click on this file and find the subfolder bookmarkbackups.

If you find multiple profile folders, look inside to find the most recently updated backups.

To restore the backup files, see: restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer

• Electric trigger DAMA IQ & check for new records to collect an infinite number of records

Hi all

I have some difficulties with the help of the trigger edge power IQ & questioning the DAMA if it has samples/records ready for pick up. I have reviewed the documentation on the support to the screw and the examples provided with the driver of the ACCA and have not been able to solve my problem on my own. What I'm trying to do, is to have this VI capture periodic RF bursts that are larger than a specified threshold.

I go to this topic in the following way:

I put the number of samples I captured (finished) for each burst which crosses the threshold
I put the number of records to capture to be infinite
I said that the rising slope and the appropriate threshold
I have then to validate the configuration of the ACCA and start acquiring
I have then go into a loop and check the backlog of samples as well as the acquisition is
If either of the above is true then I get the samples with the IQ extract complex WDT vi
I continue looping until the user stops the vi with a button on the front panel
I went on this path that I didn't block indefinitely or for long periods of time

What I see is:

I'll take one shot and then nothing else
what the samples never back above zero
that acquisition is ever complete
If I switch out the IQ extraction with equivalent IQ reading and ignore the completion back & I get documents like I expect

My understanding is as follows:

Electric trigger IQ does not have to be re-armed in VI
that each trigger to fire IQ Power will create a new record containing the number of samples that I asked

My questions:

It seems that when the number of records is infinite that the acquisition is never considered as carried out when the State of the acquisition is verified, is that correct?
I receive multiple records pending upward on the ASB using this configuration?
Why a record number is provided with the back of fetch get VI?
Why would I pick any folder, but the record of zero?
I'm doing something wrong here?
Is there a better way to do this?

Thank you
Russell

Hi Russell,

You are on the right track to get your application do what you want. Instead of check to fetch back, I suggest that lets you read the property node DAMA the "' Acquisition > Fetch > Records made" property to know when a new record was acquired. "

> it seems that when the number of records is infinite that the acquisition is never considered as carried out when the State of the acquisition is verified, is that correct?

That is right.

> I get multiple records pending upward on the ASB using this configuration?

Yes

> Why a record number is equipped with the rear of fetch get VI?
> Why would I pick any folder, but the record of zero?

You ask DAA for an infinite number of records. File 0 started the first trigger seen. Record 1 to the second outbreak (end of disk 0) and so on.

• Refreshing the page creates a new record – how to avoid this?

I have a 'submit' button that runs a 'record insertion.

After insertion is made I branch (back) to this same page.

The problem is that when I hit page refresh the folder gets reinserted.

How to avoid this behavior?

AZZ says:

fac586,

Yes. You are right. It was a late semi written post. My apologies. You must stop working after midnight.

Let me clarify:

I have a SUBMIT"" button.

There are the conditional 'after send' (if the key) process.

the process calls a function that inserts a new record in the table.

Question:

How can I avoid running the process on refreshing the page?

I've simplified the situation - no record insertion. However, if you refresh the page the success of the function call message will be displayed.

https://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/Apex/f?p=4000:1:126172565551184:no:RP:FB_FLOW_ID, F4000_P1_FLOW:21325, 21325

user/pass help/help

workspace - AZ_

To reproduce:

Click on the submit - observe green popup "OK!"

Refresh the page (F5 or ctrl-R) - see 'OK!' again.

No process is executed to see the page or page refresh. This can be confirmed by looking at track of debugging to see the processing page. The page contains no defined process to run at a show of page processing point; None of the calculations which could call a function that could not perform an insert as a side effect; None of the dynamic actions or calls JS could initiate an insertion using AJAX; Neither the source region contains any code that could do it. I'll draw the line search conditions that can contain deeply buried code which could be responsible and direct you to a previous thread of the same nature: success of process Message not tied to Conditions.

• Is it possible that when the new record is inserted in a table then this empty inserted record is automatically displayed without scrolling?

Mr President.

Is it possible that when the new record is inserted in a table then this empty inserted record is automatically displayed without scrolling?

Because I change the size property of the table 5 range and my new record is inserted at no 10.

When I click the addRecord button the new parallel line does not appear, do scroll down to see it.

I want that we don't have to scroll down.

The line is displayed automatically.

as shown in the photo my behavior of page.

scrolling.png

Concerning

If you just need the newly created line to be visible,

You can simply set contentDelivery = 'immediate' and displayRow = "selected".

P.S. the blog mentioned above only.

See you soon

• How to put the form into insert mode without clicking a button insert new record

Hi all

I use apex 4.2 on windows, internet Explorer 10 on oracle 11g R2, all 64 bits.

I'm creating mobile applications.

I have a list page, I put the links on this page.

one of the links is a form of opening and passing some values that form.

the form I open with custome plsql trigger to generate the primary key.

I do not include an Insert button in the form, I call you, I want to just the user to type something in the column remarks of the newly opened form.

and when the user clicks the Save button, the folder must be inserted as a new record in the table of underscore.

now, the pk is not because I do not press on the Insert button, since I do not include the Insert button.

now when I navigate my list Page by clicking on the point list and in the newly open shape, I enter some data in the Notes field and click on the button, save

It is not saving the table or give any error?

How to solve this problem?

Kind regards.

Mahjoor,

If your form is wizard generated then

Change your suite save button and put

and confirm that regardless of the Page item Insert Source values contains more

If you manually insert values shaped then write a Page process to insert this page elements values in the table

during the click on the button Save.

I hope this helps you.

Leave.

• [ADF, JDev12.1.3] af:table: new record... is possible to set up where it should appear?

Hallo,

When I use the operation CreateInsert on an af:table the new record (often... not always) appears at the top of the table.

If the selected line is at the bottom of the display: table, the vertical scroll bar is not auto-scroll to the top of the table so that the user cannot see where the new line to fill.

How can I solve this?

Is it also possible to make the new line to fill that appear at the bottom of the table?

• Why insert the new record is a strange behavior?

Hello world

My version of Jdeveloper is 11.1.2.3.0.
I have a link command, on, click on this link im popup trigger command with showpopupbehaviour.
Popupfetchlistener im createInsert of operation and inserting some required attributes using the setAttribute method in the new row of the table.
Inside pop up I have dialogue, inside, dialogue I dragged a few attributes of EO based VO on the page. And have the OK button.
When you click on ok button it pulls dialogListener, where im running commit operation.

Now everything works fine without error, but the file does not appear when I run this query VO in Toad. What can be the reason?

Note: I have a primary column, so I tried to hard code value (ex: empno = 898) and saved only record twice, but the second time it is throwing error as primary key attribute
cannot be set to double, but in the table, I see no new inserted record.

If the record is not inserted how it can show the primary key constraint error when I try to register the same new record?
If the record is inserted then why it does not appear in the table?

IM totally confused with this behavior of my pop up insert in the registration of the new table.

Your entries will be really useful.

Thank you.
