ch.dunes.vso.sdk.conf.WebConfigurationAdaptor documentation
I wrote a plugin of validation to control a family of network devices and I would add a configuration section for it in the vCenter Orchestrator Configuration similar to other plugins web application. I currently have IP addresses/hostnames and bouts of credentials hardcoded in my plugin and I want to be able to expose these configurable features. Looking at the sample SolarSystem plugin of the developer's guide, it seems to do this by implementing the ch.dunes.vso.sdk.conf.WebConfigurationAdaptor but I can't find any documentation on the way it is supposed to work.
Am I missing something and this is documented somewhere, or if this is not intended to be a part of the API that is used by external plugins?

Contents of system solar plug-in that has been extended to have an entry in the vCO configuration server is attached. With this, you would be able to see the plgin of solar system in the vCO configuration server, where do you see the Plugin configured so vCenter. However, the documentation for the same does not include this part.
We believe that this could be useful for you. Please let us know if you find the example as useful or you have additional questions.

You can check the version of the WSDL file that you use in your java application? Looks like it's outdated, perhaps to an old version 4.1

I see errors in the plugin vCenter. Sometimes, you must reinstall the ssl certificate, configure the vCenter again and after a server rebooted just fine. If you can navigate in the objects of vCenter as in your screenshot, everything should be good. Make sure that the user in the config has administrator rights.

Orchestrator: error "ch.dunes.model.sdk.SDKFinderException."

I configured VMware Orchestrator in our environment (provided as part of the default Installation vCenter). But when I try to create a workflow using vCO, vCenter inventory does not.
The server used by the vCO certificate is newly created.

Log into the Web configurator and see if the configuration is done correctly. By default, the configuration service is not running. You must start the Services. Refer to the documentation for more details.

LR SDK: publishServiceProvider.getCommentsFromPublishedCollection () - documentation error
I am currently working on the support to the comments to my post supplier (for Synology's photostable), which is essentially done by the three hooks:
- publishServiceProvider.getCommentsFromPublishedCollection)
- publishServiceProvider.addCommentToPublishedPhoto)
- publishServiceProvider.canAddCommentsToService)
While the implementation is simple, I had trouble getting the comments posted in the comments Panel: I could see the number of comments, but not the comments themselves. In addition to the system became really unstable and reload the plugin does not work correctly. Instead, I had to restart Lr loaded each time to get the code changes.
I took a few hours until I have finally realized that the documentation and the sample of Flickr are mistaken on the use of the comment callback function. Instead of:
commentCallback {publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList}
It must be:
commentCallback ({publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList})
This all happened in Lr 6.3 / Windows 7.
I suspect that the documentation and code samples for:
- publishServiceProvider.getRatingsFromPublishedCollection ():
ratingCallback {publishedPhoto = photoInfo, side = rating}
should also be replaced with:
ratingCallback ({publishedPhoto = photoInfo, side = rating})
Not yet tested, however.
Can someone confirm my observation?

Hmm, in Lua, 'f {a}' is syntactically equivalent 'f ({a}). So there is no difference between these two lines:
commentCallback {publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList}
commentCallback ({publishedPhoto = photoInfo, comments = commentList})
Are you really sure that what makes a change represents the difference in behavior?

It seems you are trying to instantiate a new instance of the vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder class using code similar to the following:
var host = ...; // vCAC host object var ef = new vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder(); // instantiate vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder var groups = ef.getBusinessGroups(host); // retrieve business groups
You can't do that; vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder is a singleton script and cannot be instantiated. You must use the name directly as in the following code:
var host = ...; // vCAC host object var groups = vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder.getBusinessGroups(host); // retrieve business groups

REST-Plugin configuration lost after reboot

I have a problem with vRO 6.0.3 and HTTP Plugin-REST 1.0.9.
I add a host REST and REST operations. No problem... , everything works as expected. But after the reboot, the REST Plugin has lost its configuration.
Does someone has an idea?

commissioning a vCO error vCAC machine.
I am trying to run the workflow "Request a catalog article" library/vCloud Automation Center/queries and it errors with the following error:

Line 13 of the requestCatalogItem action is as follows:

I have reproduced the action and equip the code to verify that article so are of the correct type and they are. I also tried to run the requestCatalogItemOnBehalfOf action and get the same error.
My vCO is 5.5.2 and the Plugin version 6.1.0 vCAC.
Any help is greatly appreciate.

I suppose that you add the vCAC host using authentication "by the Session of the user. We have already solved the problem, but we did not have a technical overview to date.

What is invoked is the method which tries to find an object by its type and code. But "type hierarchy" is a special root node to the hierarchy of types and not a real object ID.
This exception appears in the user interface, or simply he showed the newspapers? If the only problem is that newspapers are polluted, please ignore for now. I'll open a PR and will try to fix it for the next version of the plugin.

vCAC 6.0.0.29 Plugin fails to display all VirtualMachines

This is resolved. If the IaaS vCAC server is unresponsive or hangs, it is the trace of the stack as we. Maybe some better "timeout" messages can be sent from the plug-in?

workflow error: Manager is stopped

I am trying to copy a file from a virtual Windows computer to VCO, using the standard workflow "copy of the file of comments to the vCO. The workflow is executed successfully many times, but has stopped working. The error message seems to indicate that a service (in vCenter or ESXi?) is stopped. This would explain why the workflow has stopped working without code changes. The problem is apparently due to IllegalStateException:

vCloud 5.1 Plugin with vCO 5.5 + vCloud Director 5.5: Probable incompatibility?

I found that when you use the following combination vCenter Orchestrator is impossible to enumerate objects vCloud Director below the level of vDC of organization:
- vCloud 5.5
- vCO 5.5
- vCloud Director Plugin for vCO 5.1
- Logging on to the Organization of the system.
The following error is reported in the newspapers - I pointed out the relevant sections. What seems to happen is that the following method: com.vmware.vmo.plugin.vcloud.VCloudEntityResolver.getEntityByReference is called, but fails with this exception: com.thoughtworks.xstream.converters.reflection.ObjectAccessException: javax.xml.bind.JAXBElement.name invalid final field. Is there a workaround currently available or a release of out-of-band of the vCloud Director plugin compatible with 5.5?
Any help beyond "this is an unsupported configuration", and "a compatible plugin will be released later this year" would be appreciated, because we depend on vCO to supply our daily operations.

XStream library must be updated to version 1.4.4 + to make it work with Java 7.
Try the following (no guarantee that this will work, however)
- Stop the server vCO
- Locate the plugin files in your deployment of vCO directory (/ app-server/plugins/o11nplugin-vcloud.dar) and save it in a location sure.
- Open it with a program that can read zip files (like WinZip, WinRAR, etc.) and go to "lib" folder
- There should be a file named 'xstream - 1.x.y.jar'. Most likely, you will see "xstream - 1.3.1.jar' (version 1.3.1)"
- You need to replace by ' xstream - 1.4.4.jar' and maybe add a library more - ' xmlpull - 1.1.3.1.jar'. If you can't find these libraries on the Web, I can send them to you by e-mail.
- Remove directories temporary tomcat in the vCO directory (/ app-server/work /, / app-server/temp /)
- Start the server vCO
I don't have a working vCloud environment to test, so it cannot work without having to recompile the plugin, but it won't hurt to try.

How to download current documentation referenced in Momentics help offline?
I am a complete neophyte in the Momentics IDE (Eclipse never used before), and I don't always have an Internet connection.
Download all the documentations of NDK referenced in the Momentics IDE Help window or install locally a feasible idea? I can then set help preferences to include remote assistance, but give priority to local help.
For the moment, the Native SDK-Cascades UI documentation in particular seems a resource online only in Momentics aid application window.
I searched in the developer forums and didn't find any advice on this subject. I use the level of the API for the 10.2.0.1803 version of the Windows OS.
As BBSJdev says, native/Cascades documentation is only on the web. Has decided that it would be nice sometimes to be available locally, but classes of waterfalls are constantly evolving with the upgrades of the OS, and even if you stick to a simple SDK, there are a lot of errors and omissions, so all the docs online makes it easier to ensure that you look at the latest and greatest version at any time.
One thing to be aware of that may not be obvious to developers new to Cascades is that although there are only classes of waterfalls, Cascades is basically just Qt with a few new features thrown in. In fact, a large part of the documentation of Cascades is a copy Word for Word of Nokia Qt documentation for the same classes. You will notice also sometimes links code sample in the documentation for class of waterfalls do nothing when you click on it, and the text of the pop-up window for the link says something on these samples are not irrelevant for the development of Cascades. This is the Qt documentation have been copied word for Word and then irrelevant links have been massed to avoid confusion between the new developers of Cascades. That said, I often find these samples useful for the teaching of the basic concepts of Qt/stunts, so sometimes I get the original Qt documentation of the classes of Cascades and follow the links that BlackBerry has been expunged.
The reason why I have mentioned originally Qt most of the stunts online documentation is that there may be some downloadable version of Qt (I don't know, I haven't looked) that might be useful in a pinch. Make sure just bring you the correct version of Qt (Cascades is currently using Qt 4.8) while Qt is now in place beyond 5.0 (which is apparently coming to stunts in the future).
