Change 14 Editor from Lightroom in Photoshop elements.

I select Edit in Photoshop elements Editor from Lightroom, Photoshop Elements opens but does not show the picture to change. An error message appears in the room light saying that Photoshop elements editor can not be opened.

During your installation, make sure you select the application, and not an alias (shortcut). Go to this link.

  • I'm not able to export images from lightroom to photoshop elements 11 4.2

I upgraded lightroom 4 to 4.2 and I upgraded photoshop elements to photoshop elements 11 10. Now the option 'Edit in photoshop elements' in lightroom does not. Photoshop elements opens upward, but without images. Is this a bug with one of the improvements and is at - there a way around this problem? I use a mac with the latest version of the software to this day.

You have probably chosen the logical file instead of just. You want this one:

The upper level of the PSE file is simply an alias for the Welcome screen.

  • Keep the dng or CR2 files when switching from Lightroom and Photoshop.

From Lightroom and Photoshop, how can I keep the dng or CR2 files. Now it changes the psd and when I return to Lightroom it removes options in the section of Calibration of the camera, so that while I have a choice (Adobe Standard/camera faithful), after returning from Photoshop file I have "Embedded." How can I keep the dng or CR2 files

Adding to the good advice of Alfred - a raw file cannot be registered as the other files.

Its only use is the basis for the creation of new files, which must be regular files, such as tiff, psd or jpg.

When you edit a raw file in Lightroom, it does not change the file, the changes are written to the catalog.

Optionally, save the changes in the form of metadata (xmp) sidecar files, or in the case of DNG in the file itself.

  • When to go from Lightroom to Photoshop

    Hello

I searched the forum and not quite found the exact answer, but I confess, I'm new here so sorry if this is old news.

So, I'm working on my photos in lightroom (do the majority of the edition) and occasionally in Photoshop (fluidity and more nuanced and powerful healing and fading of shit).

My question is: when if the best time to go from Lightroom to Photoshop?  First option: before making changes to lightroom, go into photoshop and make the changes, then apply changes to lightroom to the new tiff file?  Option two: when any changes in Lightroom are fully completed, then send to Photoshop and edit (realizing that once I go to Photoshop, I'm no longer by changing the RAW file, but now to edit the Photoshop tiff file) Option three: anytime?

Are there other options I think not?

    Thank you

    Jerm

I think you do as much editing in Lightroom as possible, and only then you go to Photoshop for editing you need which is not possible in Lightroom.

Of course, you could go to Photoshop when you want to, but there is little benefit unless you have done as much as you can in Lightroom and still have editing capability that has only Photoshop.

  • "Lightroom and Photoshop elements 12 problem of transfer and sharing"

I am new to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop elements 12 5.   I opened a Lightroom image in Photoshop elements 12 using Photo-> edit in-> PSE12.  I'm doing a change in PSE12 and then 'save '.  I understand that I'm supposed to replace the default file name.  But, when I go back to LR, my PSE changes are not saved.  What I am doing wrong?

I noticed the same problem when I upgraded to items 12 in December. Also using LR on mac running 10.8.5 5.3. When using the backup command in PSE generally the saved file was not visible in LR. I posted in the forum then without any positive responses. As I worked the problem me without that I noticed that during the recording of the PSE if I used the command "Save as" instead of the command 'Save' and then answer Yes to replace the file existing changes would save to LR fail. I use this technique for the past 6 weeks or more and have not had any changes do not reach back to LR. I have no idea why this resolves the problem, as all said not teaching material to use the Save as command. I suspect that this is a bug in PSE12, but because it's 'only' items no one at adobe is paying attention. Anyway, try and see if it solves your problem. It worked for me even if I can't explain why.

  • I bought and use 6.1 Lightroom and Photoshop elements 14 on disks. If I go the road CC, the $19.99 per month Photoshop includes Lightroom?  It says "AN app." Photoshop and Lightroom are grouped in the $9.99 plan.

I bought and use 6.1 Lightroom and Photoshop elements 14 on disks. If I go the road CC, the $19.99 per month Photoshop includes Lightroom?  It says "AN app." Photoshop and Lightroom are grouped in the $9.99 plan. But there is no mention of Lightroom as a separate application in the list of options for $ 19.99. A little puzzled. Is the extra $10.00 just for the 18 additional GB cloud storage?

The Plan of Photoshop 19.99 includes Lightroom.  I believe the plan of 9.99 has a less busy version of Photoshop functionality or some limitation similar to what get it.

  • I currently own 6 of Lightroom and photoshop elements 13.  I want to buy photoshop CC.  How do I do, what is the price, because I have Lightroom?

If I already have 6 of lightroom and photoshop elements 13, what is the best price available for photoshop CC?

There is no specific discount for users of Lightroom and Photoshop Elements.

CC of Photoshop is a single subscription product. You can not buy outright.

The most effective is the Photoshop Photography plan @ $9.99 / month, which gives you a Lightroom CC (you already own Lightroom 6) + Photoshop CC 2014.

  • Change my computer from WIN to MAC - how to install already bought Lightroom and Photoshop elements stand alone version

Hello, I bought a new computer, and with which I changed from WIN to Mac.

Now, I would like to install my Lightroom stand only version on this new computer, but also my old Photoshop Elements stand alone version.
I started with my Lightroom trial without success. I always get the test version.

    What can I do?

Thanks in advance for the help

    Stephanie

You must install the Mac version, so don't forget to do initially.  If you are talking about the latest version of Lightroom then that comes automatically with installing the system duyal as do older versions.  You will need to contact Adobe customer service and request an Exchange platform for it.  The trial may be approved as the full version by entering your serial number.

    Hi Buggy09,

Did not if you are looking for open as layers in Photoshop or open as layers in Photoshop Elements?

Open as layers in Photoshop Elements will not be available as an option under Edit in because Photoshop Elements has been added as an external editor.

You can access to open as layers in Photoshop, but you must ensure that you have Photoshop installed for it.

Let us know if you need additional assistance.

It is probably due to the difference of the scaling algorithms in Lightroom and Photoshop when you zoom out. To display an image on your screen to zoom back zoom levels, the program has reduced your image. The algorithm can strongly change the appearance of detail. Photoshop does different things depending on the zoom level. If it's a zoom factor of 2, or a multiple of that (25%, 50%, etc.) it uses a different algorithm that able to zooms (33%, 66%). In Lightroom, at least in the library, he uses a dependent algorithm of the system but he always uses (except at the 1:1 and more zooms). Develop, it is something different altogether. Bottom line is that in any program, you may find real sharpness/detail if you are not 1:1 (100% in the PS) or higher zoom. The algorithm used to reduce adjustment views, has a strong influence on the appearance of sharpness.
