Change access to command line network services

Hello world

With the help of Server 5 on El Capitan.  I adjust some parameters in the pane of the server. I was limiting the Administration remotely (and screen sharing?) to a specific machine - but made a typo.  The end result has been restricted access to 127.0.0.1 and the incorrect address.  So I can not long remote control administer the machine with the app Server, not with the ARD, and nor can I vnc inside.

I, however, have ssh access.

Is it possible to set the IP address associated with the service of the command-line remote administration?

Thank you

-Jeff.

Disable packet filtering:

sudo pfctl(8) d

You should be able to connect to remote access. Then restart.

  • How to disable the registry or command line network discovery / CMD?

    Hello

    We have 8 embedded windows.

    We don't want this popup about how to connect to a new network or router:

    There is no such GUI as shown here:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/enable-disable-network-discovery#1TC=Windows-7

    We need to turn it off via the command line or the registry, or both.

    Support and advice appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    You can still get the same GUI that allows you to turn it off.  Simply go to the network and sharing Center and the "change advanced Sharing Options" will be on the left.

    It seems that if you have a permissions problem. If your username is not a member of the oinstall group, he or she has no access to the necessary sql * more files. I recommend you read MOS 420083.1 Note for a more in-depth discussion to set the file permissions on the Oracle home.

  • How to run the command-line IDC services

    Hey guys,.
    is it possible that we can run IDC Services from the command prompt.

    Hey sapan,.

    You can use IdcCommand to perform the services from the command line. The procedure is the following:

    1 create a text file with service calls, you want to do, the definitions are had in format:

    LocalData @Properties
    IdcService = UPDATE_DOCINFO
    dID = 1
    dDocName = 000001
    dDocType = MyType
    dSecurityGroup = Public
    dRevLabel = 1
    dDocAuthor = sysadmin
    dDocTitle = my title
    @end
    >

    (Note: for multiple entries in the file > is very important)

    2. run IdcCommand from the directory "/ bin" of :

    IdcCommand f image_update.hda u-l c:\idccommand.log sysadmin

    Options:
    f = with service definitions
    u = user to run as
    -l (lowercase L) = location for execution log

    There is more detailed documentation in the presentation of the Idc (idc_command_reference_10en.pdf) commands.

    Hope that helps,

  • Command line interface

    How do I access the command line interface so I can set up my series of cisco router 2600. I don't seem to know where that on my netbook. What port also can connect the cable to the internet router.

    Hello

    You must Access the port console of the router using a cable from the console. Your netbook probably doesn't have a serial port to do this, so you will need a USB-serial adapter.

    Once you have, you need terminal software. PuTTy is a good lightweight program that you can download for free.

    If you want to give the internet router, you must choose a WAN port. Assuming that you don't have a HWIC-ESW in the router, any port will do.

    There is here a guide that can be useful for:

    I hope this helps.

  • Uninstall all the Vista service packs under the command line

    I'm under Vista Business on a MacBook using Bootcamp. I could not restart successfully since it crashed (blue screen/memory image) and I am only able to boot from the Vista disc. I tried a variety of repair (points, connecting the command-line etc. of various tools for restore) and any options the these were unsuccessful.

    I decided that my next course of action is to reinstall Vista on top of my files and settings using the options of installation and upgrade from Vista installation disc.

    I encountered a problem in that the upgrade option is not available and I understand that it is because the service pack (installation completely up-to-date) version that I am trying to upgrade is newer than the version on the installation disc. I obviously need to uninstall all updates so that it works, but the only way I have to do this is the command line.

    I don't know the syntax to do this, and several examples I found online do not work. Can someone help me with this - it would be greatly appreciated! As this is a Bootcamp installation I can access the Windows partition from the partition of the Apple OS if I need to check the locations of files etc.

    Thank you!

    Is it possible to change the parameters of the scheduled scan of the Microsoft Security Essentials from the command line or in a script?

    I know that I can use the command to schedule the MpCmdRun.exe tool command line to run, but that do not change or remove the existing scheduled scan that appears in the software. Run regedit to merge into the corresponding registry keys does not work because the keys are "locked", probably by the running of MSSE program.

  • How do you access iCloud drive from command line?

    I'm on OS 10.10.5.  On any Finder window, I see iCloud drive listed (with subfolders, some created by me, others not).

    How can I look at them from the point of view "unix"?  That is, from the command line.  When I do:

    $ sudo find /-name iCloud\ in car

    He finds a /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CloudDocsDaemon.framework/Versions/A/Resource s/iCloud Drive Drive.app/Contents/MacOS/iCloud file, which is an 'executable x86_64.  I'm afraid to run it from the command line.

    Can someone please tell me how I can watch some entries in folder under "iCloud Drive" via command line?

    Thank you.

    Tena

    I can access m iCloud drive of documents from the Terminal by entering

    CD ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com ~ apple ~ CloudDocs.

    This will set the current directory to the root of the drive to iCloud.

  • Access iCloud drive via the command line

    I wanted to write a small script to access iCloud by car via the command line, and to my surprise, this seems to be a very special place that is not displayed in /Volumes or even in my home directory is Dropbox.

    Veterinarians here know the way, if not to enlightenment, then to iCloud drive?

    Thanks in advance.

    It is actually a rather interesting problem. I did research I should have done before I came here and found that iCloud Drive is accessible here:

    ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents

    What is interesting is that the many, many interesting things found in this directory when you reveal all the files through ls - al, is that custom directories seem to appear. Even more interesting, in the Finder, select go > go to folder... and that type path and it does not recognize the path. Type ~/Library/, and then of course that's fine and see you the directory of Documents Mobile...

  • Change the command line parameters without having to restart LabVIEW

    Is it possible to change the command line parameters passed to a VI WITHOUT having to restart LabVIEW?  Maybe I'm used to how it works just about any other development environment, but to have to do is quite frustrating.

    ronbrown,

    Unfortunately, you'll have to close LabVIEW to pass parameters in a VI of the command prompt. You can build your VI in an executable file, and then pass parameters from the command prompt.  Because the program is its own executable file, it is not dependent on wheter LabVIEW is open.
