  I have restart & close my iMac and then try to add this yahoo mail, still unverified. 2 emails yahoo account to connect to my iMac, a mail has no problem. I change my yahoo mail password and reconnect to the iMac still unverified.

  If I go to the browser and connect you to this mail from yahoo to safari, it works I can connect to this yahoo mail.

  Please help, why one of my yahoo mail cannot connect to my iMac?

  OK, I found a solution that is acceptable to me, if all goes well it wll be for other institutions.

  Just download the Yahoo toolbar and make sure to select the 'mail' app, in my version, there were 4 check boxes, the first three have been selected and the fourth, the e-mail option, was not.  I have others unchecked, installed the toolbar and after its closure and reopend IE, the toolbar is active.  I went to default programs start menu by default/programs/set and then chosen yahoo mail as the default mail program.  Then I went back to IE and clicked on the key which is the toolbar settings and disabled.

  Now everything works as before and I do not have the yahoo toolbar clutter my viewable area.

  Open Keychain Access and find the entries for these accounts. Either, remove them will cause Mail to ask you for the password or change the entry to provide the new password.

  To change, double-click the entry, and then click the show password check box. Enter your user account password (or password in Keychain so you changed it).

  You must remove the old keychain.

  Open Keychain Access located in Applications > utilities

  Then select passwords on the left.

  Type the name of your e-mail account Yahoo in search field top right of Keychain Access window.

  Then right or control click the keychain, and then click Remove.

  Now on Safari, go to Yahoo, sign in with your user name and password. You should be prompted to save the data in a new keychain. The next time you visit this site, Safari should automatically fill your login for you.

  I've seen people with this issue before, and I have it myself. I read that reinstalling Firefox (no data is lost) solves the problem, but I think that the navigation cache clearing out too. I can't confirm this, so please tell me the results.

  I am trying to set yahoo mail as my default e-mail client everyone give me the link to access it using yahoo mail I got to download and install the latest version of the toolbar yahoo and Messenger and it will give me the ability to set yahoo mail as the default value.  But it does not have this option and when I go to set default programs and click Custom it shows the beautiful (SARCASTIC) Windows mail!  I don't want windows mail won't much please I want yahoo mail really like it.  Cat of the Yahoo customer care tells me that I have to contact microsoft to resolve this problem (HUGE PIAN IN MY BUTT) so when I go to microsft and chat with one of their benefits, guess what?  I am told to talk to yahoo to fix this.  Both give me a link to install the latest version of the yahoo toolbar and Messenger. And I did this like969 bazzillion time seriously tomorrow: Friday November 4, 2011 will be a good week of this merry go round on 10 hours a day.   So please don't send me Yahoo mail help to download the latest version of the toolbar yahoo and Messenger because I did this every day FOR A WHOLE WEEK
