  In El Capitan this shortcut has been changed to control more space.  You can still assign it what you want in the system prefs/keyboard/shortcuts.

  recently, after having updated my mac to el Captain when I change my keyboard with the shortcut Ctrl + space I don't get an icon in the middle of my screen indicating which language of keyboard I am pass.

  It's very frustrating because I hit a large number of documents in several languages such as Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

  In El Capitan that the default shortcut has been changed to control more space, so try that.  You should be able to change it to what you want via system preferences/shortcuts/keyboard.

  The French Windows Vista license is only valid with a French Windows Vista installation disc and will not work with an English Windows Vista disc.  Because Windows Vista is no longer available, I suggest to buy a Windows 7 Home Premium (English full license) and perform a "clean installation."
