When highlighted often is difficult to tell what color the text. You can work around this by doing the above, pressing ctrl-H or cmd - H on the keyboard and the highlight will be removed, but the text remains selected. Its exactly the same procedure that you use to make the mobile dotted lines disappear just leaving an active selection. Obviously the text tool must be still in use for all this to work with text.

  • How to change the text color in CS4

Hey everybody. I know I'm not comfortable in Dreamweaver, but had DW8 before moving to CS4 and I'm pretty handy with it. In version 8, if I wanted to change a text color, I simply highlighted text and choose a color. No worries.

However in CS4, I seem to be only have this ability in my CSS, (not the HTML properties) properties. Then, when I try to change the color, it gives me a dialog box asking questions such as 'new CSS', 'for this page only", etc. and I don't understand what I'm supposed to do.

Can someone tell me in a friendly way (step by step) how to change just one color of text on a page? I went to help and he said to use the color picker, but brings back me to my original problem.

I'm either something terribly wrong or ADOBE did a simple task in the brain surgery!

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Thank you.

    Hi David,

For now, try to update the display drivers and see if it helps you to solve the problem. Drivers are updated occasionally. Windows can update automatically, or you can install the drivers updated yourself. It is important for you to have confidence in the updated drivers that you install. Windows warns you if it detects a suspicious or dangerous driver, you should not install.

You can visit the article provided below to update the drivers. If in the Device Manager, it stipulates that drivers are up to date and then try to update the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

    Download and install the drivers

    Hi arthurd55302175,

You can try to change the background color of the document by using the Document color replace.

Open the required PDF, go to edit menu > accessibility > replace color Documents.

You can use contrasting colors option to select the required combination of colors provided in the list or you can use "custom color option and select the color needed for the page background and document text."

Then click OK to save the settings.

something was added to a document that I want to erase uaing iPad. The color of the ink is red. How can I change to white to 'clear' the text that I don't want?

Is - this text or some sort of scribble (annotation)?

If you really want to edit the contained text in a PDF document, I advise to use the desktop version of Acrobat Pro (which is a PDF Editor).  Because the reader is simply a PDF Viewer, you are not able to edit the text unless you subscribe to the paid online service.

Instead, I recommend the version evaluation free of the desktop app and see if it meets your needs before buy you.

  • Change the hyperlink color

I'm working on a page with a left tab of dark green color and a Center page with black text on a white background in Contribute.

On the left side, the links are in white and the text color is white.  In the Center, I'm trying to insert a link to a document, but when I place the link, the text becomes white and therefore disappears from my page.

Is there a way to change the color of a hyperlink to a link on the page of the Center, so I can keep black text?

Any other suggestions Besides changing the colors of links on both sides of the page?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In my example CSS color codes are some that I put in there. Probably not what you want.

If you can edit the CSS file, play with numbers until you get what you want.

Here is a good list of color codes: http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm

Yes, I'm familiar with it. I'm in almost the same situation except that I get to make the decisions.

So play with the numbers using the chart I linked to (the numbers after the #) and see how it works. In addition, be sure that your web services people know you change the CSS or possibly to see if they can do it for you. We have 30 people this post content using Contribute, but do not give them access to the CSS, but if they need these types of changes, we'll happily do it for them as long as it remains within our style guides.
