Change of address on the default e-mail client

Hi people,

New poster here.  Can someone help me change the email address on the native email client on my compact Xperia Z5 ' from'?

I have download the email to a mailbox hosted with the company that manages my business Web site.  The mailbox has an email address, but I use an e-mail alias that appears under the "from" address on the email sent from my office.

My Xperia is linked to the same account, but when I send mail from my phone, the email address is my mailbox and I can't seem to find a way to change to the alias.  This means that emails to reply to messages sent from my phone only go on my phone, instead of on my desk and telephone.

I looked through all the settings, but I can't find anything that allows me to enter an alias.  Can anyone help?

Best wishes

HP

  • error message in the default e-mail client

Whenever the reader XI load this error message appears:

"There is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot meet the demand for e-mail. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as default mail client. »

I have no idea how to solve this in Outlook after several attempts. Can I solve this problem within the player or have at least the message never appear even if the customer's question is not fixed?

Yesterday, someone has posted an interesting solution that seems to get rid of the problem: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5529300#5529300 (post 19).

    Hi Lynda,

    1. who is your provider of mail service?
2 are you using any client e-mail like outlook or Windows live mail?

If you use any email client, then I suggest you to try the steps from the following link to set the program as the default e-mail client.

Choose the apps Windows uses by default

  • "not installed default e-mail client." What does that mean?

I am responsible for the maintenance of a website for a club which I am a member.  The club has a generic Hotmail email address we use to send e-mail to and receive e-mail from people.  I put this as a link email address several times on the site, so that people can contact the club.  When I click on one of the links I'm stuck for an e-mail sent to the Hotmail address.  However, now someone has sent me an email to my personal email address, saying that when they click on one of these links, they get the "default e-mail client" message not installed.  Since they can send email for me but not for the club, when the two email addresses are authentic, it's a mystery to me.  They use the browser Internet Explorer and Outlook OWA for emails.  Can anyone help?

    David

This error message simply means that they use a browser for their email and not an e-mail client AND seek to "send to" or some other function, an e-mail client is required for.  I suspect that there is something unique on the link of the web site or anything else on the site.  I suspect since you are the owner of the site/page (and probably have an e-mail client installed) you do not see the problem, but those who do not have an email client.

  • Cannot manually change the default e-mail reader more.

I'm want to use Kiwi to Gmail as my default e-mail client. And to do this, I have to use Messaging to change default e-mail reader. Well, when I select the reader to e-mail by default from the inside of the Mall, it won't keep the settings. It simply returns to its previous settings. I open Thunderbird or Outlook, and they have set for the default client. And settings from one session to another. But the General control panel inside the Mail will not work. I can't even to prevent the "Mail" more as a client by default. Simply, it will switch to Outlook or Thunderbird.

Normally, I think that it was a problem with permissions. But I don't see a way to check the permissions in El Capitan.

I had to put the connected to the account of "Allow user to administer this computer" in users and groups then went to Mail and set default Outlook.  After the e-mail saved the default and then I removed the checkbox "Allow user to administer this computer" (two reboots) but saved the day when administrator.  Seems there should be an easier way, but it worked for me...

  • Setup Eudora as the default e-mail program

    Hello

    Operating system: Win7

I have always (for the right reasons) sue Eudora as my main e-mail client.  Whenever I installed a Windows Update, Windows set Outlook as my client, but it has been noticed by Eudora which, early on, was told that he was no longer the default client.  I could easily change that by starting Eudora as an administrator and then clicking on the option to make it my default e-mail client.

BUT from the windows of the last updated, it no longer works and Eudora told me that it was impossible to change the registry (even when starting as an administrator).

I tried to restore Eudora as the default e-mail program by going to wut Start\Default program that eudora does not appear here and I can't change the (set on Outlook) to Eudora MAPI option because this option is greyed out...

How can I restore Eudora as my default mail (mainly for the mailto protocol) client?

I found myself a solution that may be useful to other people faced with the same or similar problems.

1 each (major) Windows Update and for reasons known only to Microsoft, registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\mailto\shell\open\command key has been changed and gives the order to outlook... (even if it was for Eudora before the update).

2 Eudora could not change this key (and restore the command again to Eudora.exe) even when run as administrator because this key is protected...  (I noticed that I couldn't change the key manually).

    3. However, when I gave permission to administrators to modify this key and restarted the computer, Eudora (run as root) could change the key which now reads: C:\PROGRA~2\Qualcomm\Eudora\Eudora.exe/m %1, which is what to do...

So, problem solved, but why Microsoft protected this key during one if its last update remains a mystery.

  • Mail refuses to give up the default e-mail application

Yesterday, I had a problem where I was unable to grant other e-mail applications by default and found the fix on a Web page that seems to have solved the problem and I was then able to select Outlook or Thunderbird as the default email application.

In Terminal, type the following command

    /System/Library/frameworks/CoreServices.Framework/versions/A/frameworks/LaunchSe rvices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister-tuer - r - all local, system, user

But for some reason, the problem came back today, and Mail does not allow me to grant other default e-mail applications. Someone at - it ideas as to why and how to fix it? Thank you...

    Have you try this:

Open Mac Mail > > Preferences > > general tab > > select Microsoft Outlook.app as the default e-mail application.

Right-click on one of them, then click on 'send '.

Select "E-Mail" as a target. Windows will now open the default mail Manager.

  • Change of address updates the Per_All_Assignments_F table Last_Update_Date

I run a report with logic based on changes last_update_date on table per_all_assignments_f.
Something that surprises me is that when we change detail address of the person. for example address line 1 only and no other changes, what it does is, it updates the field Last_Update_Date in the Per_All_Assignments_F table. We don't change any detail in Per_All_Assignments_F, but again whenever we change detail address, we found that the Per_All_Assignments_F table last_update_date has updated.

Is there a link between the assignment and address or address change trigger some tax API that updates the field Last_Update_Date of the Per_All_Assignments_F table?

    Hello

I'm not good at the technical aspect, but update the personal address of the employee should not affect PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_F TABLE provided there is no trigger custom or defined alerts.

You can use below two queries to know the same thing: -.

    Select * from apps. ALR_ALERTS where TABLE_NAME = 'PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F' and ENABLED_FLAG = 'Y ';
    SELECT trigger_name, table_name, status FROM dba_triggers WHERE table_name LIKE '% PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F % ';

Also if the last_update_date is changed to per_all_assignemnts_f table, consult another column in the table is updated, this may give you some clues.

BTW, what is your law. In Saudi Arabia, I have tested and it has no bearing on the PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_F table.

    Thank you

  • What this means when I try to send from a Web site and "must be set to default e-mail client" expression. Where can I find and what I do to send emails through Web sites

Where I put "default email client".  When surfer and needing to send an email from a Web site, this sentence comes in.  Thank you

    Hi Linda,.

This means that you should choose a program to use by default, for Windows to know which program to use when you send an e-mail.
You can set a default program by following the instructions in this link:
If you don't have any e-mail program installed, you can download Windows Live Mail, which is free and can be downloaded here:
