Change password with IOM api using already defined password plocy: 11 G R2

Hello

When the user is created with a recon trust I want to change the password that is generated based on the default policy. With IOM api can generate the password by using a password Plocicy defined on IOM?

To be more clear, I want to do something like that;

1. download the strategy defined with IOM api
2. generate the password with it
3. configure the password generated recently in postporocess with the changePassword method eventhandler api IOM (this part I am able to do by the generation of password on my way, the thing I want is to generate the password using the phases 1 and 2)

Is this possible?

Use this method to check your generated password:

PasswordMgmtService validatePasswordAgainstDefaultPolicy()

Or

PasswordMgmtService validatePasswordAgainstPolicy()

    You must use the new API set to create the request. OIM 11 g R2 supports model not application so your code will be changed.

    Hi, I have wireless internet in my house and I gave my password system so that others in my home with laptops can use my internet provider.  I want to change my password now.  How can I do that or do I need to contact my provider?

    Normally, you must have set a wireless router with a password to the wireless network using the wireless network that you have set up in your home.

    If above is the case, read the information that came with your router, or search for it on their website on how to change the settings in it.

    See you soon.

  • Define the process shape and available resources using the IOM APIs

    Hello

    I'm provision the resource in the IOM with the APIs of the IOM. I know that the API to use is provisionObject (long plUserKey, long plObjectKey). The problem is that I have some data to be set manually on the form of courses, so I have to send it via the API.

    Please guide me how can I set the shape of process data and then provide a resource of IOM with the APIs.

    Thank you.

    Rahul

    You can do it in both directions.
    1. you can use adapter pre-population.
    2. you can use the API.
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E21764_01/apirefs.1111/e17334/Thor/API/operations/tcFormInstanceOperationsIntf.html#setProcessFormData_long__java_util_Map _

    That
    prntPrvsndPrsInsKey - retrieves the Instance.Key process for provisioned resource object
    hashPrntData - a card that conatins keys as process form column name / value in the form of data.

    tcforminstanceoperationsintf.setProcessFormData (prntPrvsndPrsInsKey, hashPrntData);

    Approach is very good. You can call the task of password change to the success of creating the task from the user.
    You can have a simple code like this:

    Import oracle.iam.passwordmgmt.api.PasswordMgmtService;
    public String changePassword (Long usr_key, String password) {}
    UPOS tcPasswordOperationsIntf = Platform.getService (tcPasswordOperationsIntf.class);
    upos.setXelleratePassword (usr_Key, password);
    }

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • IOM and OAAM 11g changing Password Integration

    After completing the integration IOM and OAAM, when I connect to IOM and then navigate to the profile > Security > change password I get redirected to the login page OAAM, but I receive an error message stating "sorry, the ID you entered is not recognized. Please try again. »

    The property oaam.oim.url in environment OAAM settings control the host name, it should be on your IOM-internal vip, which refers directly to managed servers. Also, make sure you have HTTP Tunneling enabled on your servers IOM managed - you can find the setting under oim_server1 > protocols > HTTP.

  • Impossible to logon to share the folder with "User must change password at the next logon" in Windows Server 2003

    I use Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 as a file server.  I create new user 'A' in Windows Server 2003 as well with the option "user must change password at the next logon" selected and give way under the group users and users in the domain for this user.  I then share an output folder.  User 'A' is using Windows XP SP3 to connect to this shared folder.  However, when I try to connect, Windows reappear to enter user name and password.  I think it is the limitation in Windows that the user 'A' will be unable to change the password at the next logon or change password at any point in time at all.  Correct me if I heard wrong.

    If possible, can someone enlighten me what is wrong or what I need to do for user to access folder and change the password on the first logon.

    If what I described is not possible, is there another way for me to configure for the user to access share folder so that the user doesn't have to join domain or user of the AD?

  • XLIFF file format and use with JAVA API

    Hello

    We use BEEP version 5.6.3 in Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2 and we are developing some reports to be translated into 10 different languages. We are therefore very interested in XLIFF files but have some questions about the file format and the use of the JAVA API

    (A) FILE FORMAT
    Accuracy: we generate the XLF file in menu add-on BEEP in Winword MS used to build the RTF model
    (A - 1), the generated XLF file begins with:
    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf - 8"? >
    Can we change encoding to "ISO-8859-1' as soon as convert us the file format?

    A-2) section he < header > < skl > < file > internal - contains a huge chain that seeem to be binary... What is c? can delete us it?

    A-3) can you have a file XLF muliple < file > sections (one for each language translation)?
    This can be very useful for us to manage a translation only by a report model file.

    A-4) the most important section for translation is included in the tag < trans-unit >.
    Each of them has a separate as id "49e41f8f" '... '. Can we replace that with a larger significance?

    (A - 5) in the format of language is as "en-US" (area code + language code).
    It is case sensitive?

    (* B) THE USE OF XLIFF FILES WITH JAVA APIS *.
    We use the OPE "FOProcessor" class to generate the PDF providing:
    -Data generated by SQL report XML file
    -File XSL - FO, generated from the module BEEP in MS WINWORD RTF model
    -XLIFF file generated from RTF model by the module BEEP in MS WINWORD
    -The XLIFF file contains a file entry to translate the form English to French
    < file source = target language language "en-US" = "en - US" datatype = "OPE" original = "orphan.xlf" product-version = "orphan.xlf" - name of the product ="" > "

    Here is a summary of our java implementation class:

    Processor FOProcessor = new FOProcessor();
    processor.setData (sXmlDataFilepath);
    processor.setTemplate (sXslTemplateFilepath);
    processor.setOutput (sPdfOutputFilepath);
    processor.setOutputFormat (FOProcessor.FORMAT_PDF);
    processor.setLocale ("en - US");
    xInputXlfLang = new FileInputStream (sXlfLangFilepath);
    processor.setXLIFF (xInputXlfLang);
    try {}
    Processor.Generate ();
    }
    {} catch (XDOException e)
    e.printStackTrace ();
    }

    (variables beginning with "s" are path + names passed as arguments)

    The output PDF file is well generated, but not translated in French!

    (1) I missed something?
    What is wrong in my code or my XLIFF file?
    Y at - it a parameter to pass to allow the XLIFF translation (via setConfig)?
    With "setLocale" we indicate the target language, but how BEEP knows this current language is "en-US"?

    I found a few posts on the subject, but none with a clear solution. So if I managed to solve this problem, I think it can be very useful for many developers.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hey,.

    I know what you're talking about.

    Do not make the rtf-> xsl in the office.

    Do it in java code.

    Use RTFprocessor, for her, just set the model and set the true extractxliff.

    move the xsl foprocessor.

    to do this

    (1) in the BEEP for MS Word
    1 - a) build the RTF model
    1-c) extract texts translateable to the XLF file

    (2) in BEEP Server (Linux Redhat, BEEP 5.6.3) included with the Oracle Applications 11.5.102
    (2 - a) write a java class that implements class FOProcessor (see code in my first post)
    I'm passing to the FOProcessor class
    -XML data file
    model model XSL - export RTF, file to the XSL using RTFprocessor file save it sub - (here in rtfprocessor.setextractXlifff - true)
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E10415_01/doc/bi.1013/e12693/Oracle/Apps/XDO/template/RTFProcessor.html
    -Translation (via the FOProcessor.setXLIFF method) XLF file

    I haven't used itunes for some time and now have a new PC.  I've updated my account (change password) but when I connect to my music went?  I am working on Win 8 and still have part of my collection on an ipod.

    Unless you subscribe to iTunes game (which is not a complete solution anyway) your iTunes Library is on your previous PC - solution the easiest is to copy from here or from a backup.  For more information, see How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support .  Previous purchases from the iTunes Store may be available for re - download - see download your past - purchases of Apple Support.

    If none of these approaches allows to recover the contents of your library, see user turingtest2 on recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device library for a list of tools and methods that can be used to copy the media etc from iPod to iTunes.

    You can get a list of available categories using the following code snippet:

    tcExportOperationsIntf = dm.getService (tcExportOperationsIntf.class) operations;
    Categories collection = operations.retrieveCategories ();
    for (String category: categories)
    System.out.println (Category);

    For reference, in OIM 11 g R2 PS2, the following categories may be used:

    -CustomResourceBundle
    -eventhandlers
    -Form process
    -CertificationDefinition
    -Organization
    -RiskConfiguration
    -ITResource
    -NOTIFICATIONTEMPLATE
    -PasswordPolicy
    -RequestDataset
    -DataObjectDef
    -CertificationConfiguration
    -Metadata role
    -User group
    -PrepopAdapter
    -Process
    -Plugin
    -ITResourceDef
    -Resources
    -EmailDef
    -TaskAdapter
    -SystemProperties
    -ApplicationInstance
    -GenericConnector
    -GTCProvider
    -Rule
    -User metadata
    -CatalogDefinition
    -ApprovalPolicy
    -Job
    -Jar
    -Metadata Org
    -Search

  • vRO - AD plugin - defined attributes of user - password never expires and user cannot change password

    Hello
    Could someone suggest how can I set the object AD attributes: User to have two active parameters?

    Password never expires

    The user cannot change the password

    I guess I'll use the .setAttribute method, but I can't find anywhere a useful example/document that could help me to do so.

    Thank you

    Kamil

    OK, I found help in the thread:

    Properties of creation of account user AD - cannot change password and password never expires

    The closure of this one.
