  We have implemented cisco ISE 1.1 for a week and we notice that Microsoft active directory the user cannot change password there when it expired.

  We store all user account in Microsoft active directory for authentication and ISE is mapped with Microsoft active directory. Normally, when your expired password Microsoft active directory ask you to change your password, but in our case cisco switch or 802. 1 x do not allow communication with active directory before giving access to the network. Is this a configuration error or cisco do not support this?

  The user must change the pwd to the next opening - false.
  
  The requirement for us is that the password should expire and that users should change their password at the next logon. I tried to change the default values of the form and try but it didn't work. I don't think it's necessary, but I need to create a new version for this?

  Go to the forms designer > form UD_ADUSER

  The default value for the password never expires 0 and user must change the pwd to the next opening 1

  There will be a default value column u will see in the table.

  I have my users set up in the .rpd have to change their password every 90 days. My first user just hit this limit. She received an ODBC error that says the password has expired and please change the password. Unfortunately - there is no room available to do so. I think that OBIEE would come with a change of password area - but it isn't. I also searched on OTN and the documentation and cannot find anywhere that solves this problem. I think it's an easy fix - but can't seem to find where if users are allowed to change their password. Any ideas?

  I use a Server 2003 SP1 as a domain controller.  Now we have implemented group policy which is the default value

  now some users when you are prompted to spend there the password are able to go through the process of implementation of their old password and change to new password but are constantly pushed to repeat the same process.  I don't have any screenshots as of this point of the error, simply users who suffer.  Any information is appreciated.

• Thin client HP 5740e: HELP! Expired password and should be changed but access denied when you try to do

  I have a thin client HP 5740e and for some reason any local user account requires a password change.  Yet, when I try to change the password it says access denied.  And yet, I can't it to allow me to move to another counts as administrator to open a session.  I held down the SHIFT key during startup, but it always goes straight to this local user account & the expired password prompt. I'm stuck in an infinite loop and do not know how to cope.  Safe mode puts me in the same situation.  And I can't update the BIOS because I can't have everything.

  I also tried to reinstall the last image of the HP Web site using a USB key, but it fails every time. I tried 2 different USB drives with the same exact error no each.

  I finally could get as an administrator using RDP to my office.  I didn't know the name of thin client lacked a figure, that's why I've been unsuccessful before that.

  Once I got away, I could watch the local user account permissions.  Now I see what was wrong.

  I still don't know why I couldn't install a new image of the plant, but at least I am now able to work with this device.  I also disabled the automatic connection at the moment.

  You can also use key pairs / value in knots, for example in a UD, you might have:
  A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4, E = 5
  You can write rules to analyze the UD and extract the desired setting. This will allow you to have approximately 30 knots. The exact number depends on the length of the text NODE.

• User-defined attributes

  I'm looking for the best way to accomplish a few things to foglight requiring me, the instances of SQL Server 'tag' and instances of DB2 (or if necissary databases).  For example I need to be able to indicate that the instance is for the customer and what application it supports.  These will then be used in multiple ways, such as filtering certain alarms based on the tag, see the value in the various reports, automatically put in services, etc..

  I could be missing something, but I don't see any place where I can add attributes defined by the user.  I realize that I could put in services, however, I do not think that would accomplish what I need, because they would be in more than one service, and he wouldn't know which report.

  Is it possible to add user-defined attributes?  Or I go about this completely wrong?

• User defined attributes of an entry in list of ignored navigation?

  I added target = "_blank" to an entry in list of navigation as a user defined attribute, but it does nothing. If I understand correctly, it is supposed to become an attribute of the generated a tag, but when I check the source of the page, there is no trace of it. It is on the 3.1.2.00.02 version.

  You must change the list template and the reference of your attribute set by the user in the definition of a relationship, I think that this is the reference as #A01 #.

  Is someone can you please tell me what the procedure is to require users to change their password when they first register an APEX application?
  Please provide detailed examples.
  I guess I have to write a process, probably in the login page and then create my own page to enter the old and new passwords. I then define the branching right, etc. in order to integrate this page with the rest of the application. Is there a standard way to do this? It seems to me that it should be.

  If you use the authentication method the APEX, try the following:

  The form of departure in the APEX that displays all of the applications that you have installed, right side, administration section, manage users explicit application, click this item.

  If you add a user, then click on the button create and enter the relevant information.

  If you already have an existing user and I want to just change them, click on the user icon.

  To set the password needs to be reset during its first use, under the control of the accounts, click the menu drop down require the change of password on first use and select Yes.

  Save the user, and the first time the user logs in the APEX, they will have to reset their password.

  Is that clear enough to follow?

  On a side note, I STRONGLY recommend that change you your scheme of authentication or Custom database driven, since the APEX authentication scheme is used mainly for developers...

  Now, I had the chance to create the same environment as your in an insydeH20 BIOS.

  It will allow you to change your administrator password as you type your user password to enter the BIOS. This is why you are not able to change or remove your administrator password or master password, since you will not have privileges to modify those with a user password.

  When you enter the BIOS, please use your administrator password, you will be able to remove passwords

  I use the DSC module to create alarms.  I can successfully configure an alarm for a shared variable.  I use the alarms.vi of reading to read the current alarms.   I am able to recognize and to disappear which removes them from the list.  I also see a history of them when using the "alarm and event Query.vi.  Now, I do the same with user-defined alarms.  I have created alarm using the "user defined Alarm.vi value.  The alarm are displayed in the list (read alarms.vi).  I can acknowledge the alarm and it disappears from the list.  Now when I use the 'alarm & Query.vi' the user defined alarm does not appear in the list.  Only shared variable alarms are displayed.  Is this correct?  Is there a good example of what I'm doing?  The example of "User defined DSC alarms Demo.vi" does not give an example of reading historical alarms defined by the user of the database.

  I removed the DSC module and re-installed which includes SQL Server.  That did the trick.
