  I have an "intranet" project that has been implemented by someone else - and I inherited it. I know just enough about dangerous Dreamweaver - but I have a problem that needs to be fixed as soon as POSSIBLE (according to my boss :-). I changed the template.dwt doc by adding another link to the page. I saved the page template.dwt, using the icon Save. Other html on the Web site pages that depend on this template do not show changes (new link) I created. Is there something else I need to do to ensure that all pages of the Web site show the change I made to the .dwt?

  Here are seven common mistakes which will result in changes not multiplication
  a model for child-

  1 rename the Templates folder
  2 move the folder models to another level of folder in another site

  3. move a template outside of the Templates folder.

  The reason for this is because I would like to include my button with its own VB code that performs certain other functions.

• How to change the template used in the photo gallery module

  I noticed the photo galleries are rendered as an HTML table and I would like to make a small change to the way in which the Gallery is rendered on the page.

  Basically, I want to just wrap a DIV around the < img > tag so that I can control the appearance of the image through my own CSS.

  In my view, there is the possibility to change the Module Templates, but the photo gallery module is not listed there.

  Where can I get the model used for a photo gallery?

  Otherwise, I'll need display the images myself using a flow XML and jQuery, but I prefer to use the modules of British Colombia when I can.

  There is no model for the photo galleries. But if you use Firebug you can find the css values and add your own modification by adding CSS by the switch as well as the current gallery to your own page and use them! Value to write to the css gallery.

  There are several ways to do it, but whatever one you choose, please be
  course first make a backup of your site in case something bad happens.

  METHOD 1
  1 rename "TemplateA", "TemplateA-Temp" and REFUSE the option Update
  pages.
  2. Rename "Modeleb" to "TemplateA", then ACCEPT the option to update the
  pages.
  3 Rename the "TemplateA" to "ModèleB" and REFUSE the option Update the
  pages.
  4 rename "TemplateA-temp" to "TemplateA" and REFUSE the option Update
  pages.
  5. open one of the newly acquired child pages and use EDIT | Models >
  Update all Pages...

  METHOD 2
  1. close all pages.
  2. perform the at the level of the site search and replace to find all instances of "Modeleb"and ".
  Replace it with "TemplateA".
  3. follow the step #5, above.

  I can create the new layer, but when I try to draw the rectangle and change color, nothing is actually happening. It creates the layer but the layer doesn't change color.

  you are not changing the color of the layer (which is not really something), you make an object with a filling that will serve as your background. So what's going wrong here? the rectangle tool does nothing? or you can create a rectangle but can not change its fill?

  I'm trying to find a piece of software based on the web I saw in action but do not know what's it called, or even what to look for to find!

  Now, I want to change black to a grey color, I found on another image, while they mix.

  How can I do this?

  I tried Image > adjust colors but no luck.

  Levels adjustment layer and drag the black output slider to the right.  You can see below I put a pair of color sampler points, one on each background, so I could see exactly which setting I got a perfect match

  If you want to change your background color, you will need to override paintBackground(), no paint method.
