change the border color of an image control

Hi all

I shows 30 photos on the façade by using an image control. I want the user to select 12 peaks of 30 photos.

is there an interactive way to show what image has been selected. I thought that it would be OK to change the color of the border of the control.

I would like to know how to change the border color of th and you are really welcome if you have a better way to say what peak has been selected.

Thank you

Ritesh

Hi Ritesh,

in my LV7.1 installation I could change bordercolor using the tool to color in development mode, but I couldn't find a property to change the colors by programming...

So my advice would be to put a little bigger Boolean flags (or color boxes) behind the indicators of the photo. When the image is clicked/selected just change you the color of the underlying Boolean value. In this way imitate you the colorchanging of an indicator of the photo border...

  • Is there an easy way to change the border color in CS4 image?

    This is probably a ridiculously simple question, but I have scoured my book resources and can't seem to find the answer, although I find the topic. (And I'm new to Dreamweaver but by my question, which is no doubt already apparent). So, on my index page (oamasters.com), when I added a border to the image on top, the border was blue. However, on the page pictures, when I added a border to the border color was black. I know not how/if/when I put one of those, but now I need to change and don't know where to go. Looks like it was an easy fix and it's probably, I just can't understand it. In particular, the pictures on the photo page. Thanks in advance for any help, you can suggest.

    See you soon,.

    Use CSS.  Add this to your embedded CSS or external style sheet.

    IMG {border: 4px solid #0062C 8 ;}}

    It is a light blue border around all the images in your site.  Change the color and width (px) to be agreed.

  • Action to change the border color changes the color of full object instead

    Whenever I try to do an action in which I change the color of the border, the action is not the way that I save it. Instead to change the border color, as I did in the record, the action changes the color of the whole object (for the color that I have saved) and leaves the border to be black.

    Ok. I think that actions make a difference between the stroke and fill. If you have an action to apply a swatch/color, it will apply this color to everything you have 'face' (look at your tool palette: fill overlaps the race?).

    to get what you want, you may need to make a graphic with the fill color style, as you want and use the action to apply instead of the shade.

  • Change the border color of the elements required

    Adobe Livecycle Designer ES v8.2.1

    Dynamic PDF

    I spent the last hour searching the tangential broken links and tutorials. I have a group of required exclusion (radio buttons), and the user must select one of the values so that the form is valid. The problem is, I have hundreds of boxes, and they all have a gigantic red border stuck around them. There is no highlight when it is not verified and the form is submitted, they are all simply bright red.

    Here is what I tried:

    Group of exclusion on "initialize".

    This.Border.Presence = "invisible";

    This.Border.Edge.Presence = "invisible";

    This.Border.Fill.Presence = "invisible";

    this.borderColor.fillColor = "invisible";

    this.borderColor.presence = "invisible";

    this.fillColor.presence = "invisible";

    Group of exclusion on 'form::ready '.

    This.Border.Presence = "invisible";

    This.Border.Edge.Presence = "invisible";

    This.Border.Fill.Presence = "invisible";

    this.borderColor.fillColor = "invisible";

    this.borderColor.presence = "invisible";

    this.fillColor.presence = "invisible";

    Group of exclusion on 'layout::ready '.

    This.Border.Presence = "invisible";

    This.Border.Edge.Presence = "invisible";

    This.Border.Fill.Presence = "invisible";

    this.borderColor.fillColor = "invisible";

    this.borderColor.presence = "invisible";

    this.fillColor.presence = "invisible";

    None of them work. Is there honestly no way to control the border color / visibility of a required element? I can do him point together disappear pretty easy but that solves nothing. If the default value is not an option that the customer wants to ensure that all fields have been reviewed by the "clicked".

    Thanks for your time.

    Hello

    LC Designer ES2 has improved handling for Forms validation. It does not require the user to have version 9 of Acrobat/Reader.

    So, for these features, you must upgrade to LC Designer ES2 and you need be happy that your users would have version 9 of Acrobat/Reader.

    If this isn't the case, then you can enable and disable highlighting. However, this applies to all fields. Also you can change the color of the highlighted field using script, you can change the color of the Red manditory border. See: http://assure.ly/ * 6tn.

    John Brinkman has several examples of custom/scripted validation models, with samples:

  • Change the border color of the overview image

    The search for solutions on the web at this problem seems only to show manual changes in the CSS code. I'm looking for the solution of how to proceed in Dreamweaver. Being new development web I want to keep my code run by Dreamweaver rather than beginning to hack the code myself who could create an uncontrollable mess!

    The problem

    ------------------

    I have a developed page which is a gallery of thumbnails.

    When the user clicks on a thumbnail, I want to launch a new window and display the magnified image.

    It's easy to work in Dreamweaver with the behavior Add < window >.

    However, if you use Add-behavior you lose the 'hand' when you move the thumbnail image.

    So as a workaround to lose the 'hand', I would like to change the color of the border of the miniature of the "bubble".

    I have a CSS govern together 'thumbnailBorder' to the top (in a model) that correctly gives a gray px border 3 any thumbnail images with this style is applied.

    The Question

    -------------------

    How can I change the "thumbnailBorder" CSS rule (using Dreamweaver) so that it changes the color of the border when the image is hovered over?

    Thank you very much

    As soon as I remove the link in the field of the Properties tag disappears.

    Of course, so put it back.  You can even simply enter "#" in the link of properties field and press return to do this.  Now you have a link here and use it.

    But tell me again why the first method (which also works) was not working for you?  You simply apply the behavior of Windows OpenBrowser directly to the image.  After clicking on OK, and with the selected image, override you the onclick onclick EVENT behavior.

  • Why 'save for web' or 'Export as... ". ' change the hexadecimal color to my image?

    I save a series of images for use on the Web site using the background color #c54a90. This is achieved my having my background layer filled with color and other images then placing on the top (see screengrab below). However, when I export the image for the web or export in JPG the hexadecimal color replaces #c64a90. Does anyone know why this is? I have my RGB working space set to sRGB and the color profile is also sRGB. When I save it for the web, I tried embedding the profile and do not incorporate the profile and I get the same result. I also tried with and without conversion to sRGB in the Save Panel for web and has also no effect. Can anyone help? He drives me crazy!

    Here is an example jpg resulting.

    Here is the version stratified showing the original hex color:

    Compression JPEG WILL change your image color values, because it is a lossy compression format.

    Visually, the colors will be close, but the exact values are supposed to change.

  • Change the border color

    How can I change the color of the borders of a red button on the click event

    Thank you

    Can be done with the script on clik the button event.

    1. go in "Border properties" of the button and update the "relief - 3D" (this can be a default) to "Solid" in the drop down menu.

    2. If you need any default color for the border before you click, you can select a color from the color white select palette elase.

    3. now assign red color for the border on the click event of the button, put the script on the click event of the button below.

    This.Border.Edge.Color.Value = "255, 0,0;

    4. now you can see the red border button on the click event, if you need wider of the border can be increased the size of "border properties" button.

    Hope this will help.

  • Change the border color of text field based on a value from the drop-down list

    I have a dropdown menu with 4 choices of priority for maintenance.  With a javascript script, I need to be able to select a 'priority' in a list box and a text box border then color with an appropriate color.

    'High priority' with an export value of 0

    "Medium priority" with a value of exports of 1

    'Low priority' of an export value of 2

    "When the time allowed" with a value of exports of 3

    When one of these selections has been filed, a text box becomes available in order to write the gap. My goal is as follows.

    When "High priority" is selected, the border of the text box where you write the gap would blush.

    When "Moderately urgent" is checked, the border around the text box where you write the gap would turn yellow.

    When "Low Priority" is checked, the border of the text box where you write the gap would become green.

    When "when she allows" is checked, the border around the text box where you write the gap would have turned blue.

    Otherwise, the border would be white.

    This form will be used ultimately on an iPad using Expert PDF under the player.     I use Acrobat X to create the form.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Yes, I accidentally left a hug. I can fix it so it won't be a problem if someone tries to use it. Happy that you guessed it work.

    To handle resetting, you can use a script to validate drop-down list:

    Script to Validate drop-down list

    If (event.value = "" "") {}

    getField("discrepancy_1").strokeColor = color.white;

    }

    Try a defined gradient fill layer to clear it up. I used two for the photo, below a set to light subdued and hidden so it has only affected in the foreground, then one another on top of the value lighten affecting mainly the bottom. I had to drop a curve slight modification to retouch (clarify) the seam where they meet (and he looks always funky).

  • How to prgrammatically to change the background color of a 'number' inside a cluster control

    Hello

    using a property node, it is possible to change the background color of a control number.

    But how to do this, if this number control is inside a cluster? I would not have found the property to the background color (see attached vi).

    Thank you very much and best regads.

    Michael

    P.S.: I use a reference, because the color change must run inside a Subvi.

    Insert a function "to the more specific" and connect the digital constant refnum. I modified a bit your vi.

  • is it possible to change the background color of the checkbox control?

    Hello

    Is this possible in LV to change the background color of the checkbox system? When I try to do this via the Colors property [4] I get error 1131:

    LabVIEW: You cannot use this property with this control system.

    No, it's what are the control systems for. They adapt to the configuration of the machine.

    Use one of the other palettes if you want to change the color.

  • Change the matte color to jpg for the image assets

    Is there a way to change the matte color of white for the generated images jpeg?

    Photoshop can save jpeg files in the folder you are working on.  Photoshop is not a file editor.  You can change the image, you work on the appearance in many ways.

    If you open a JPEG with Photoshop it open like a background image layer.  The background layer, Photoshop does not support transparency.  If you add the canvas, you can add any color you want from the Web. There is no separation between an object in the background layer and the area around this object that is a unique raster layer.

    How to change the highlight color, click the button image and text and sound. are there packages of buttons for use in my project?

    Hello

    Even if the point of things based Web links buttons created using them is of simple images. Captivate uses simple images. If you need to put your creative hat and not to let the fact that you see the word 'web' scared you somehow. An image is an image. Use on the web, use Captivate. Same case!

    If you change the properties of the button, you can activate the legend of success. Fix any sound that you like with the legend of success and it will play when you click the button. If you do not want to see the legend of success, delete the text and configure it as transparent.

    < class p 'c3' = > Octenol is a natural chemical that occurs naturally as a by-product of the plants and animals that eat a lot of vegetables produce. If carbon dioxide is mixed with octenol, it turned to be an attractant for several species of mosquitoes. There are other insects like the fire of the ships and the fire ships which are also attracted to this perfume. It turned out to be a very effective product, especially for the fire ships. < br / >

    Octenol is also a pesticide ingredient which is used to attract mosquitoes and flies that bite. He does not kill insects; It only attracts them. It can be used in combination with other products and devices that kill once they are successfully attracted the device. It is important to know that no pests are also lured and destroyed by some of the features. < br / >
    < br / >
    If octenol is ingested, there is a possibility of toxicity. However, it is not harmful in the air to humans, animals or the environment. It is extremely important that it is kept safely of children to avoid the risk of ingestion. Placement of repulsion and the device used to catch biting insects must be carefully considered. It should be kept safely away from children and pets. < br / > < / p >
    < class p 'c3' = > to be more effective in the fight against mosquitoes, the bait should be placed between the breeding grounds for the mosquito and the area where the people. There are limits of beach that reaches the attractant and this needs to be seen in the implementation of the trap also. < br / > < / p >

    Why all the CDATA tags in your styles?  You don't need them there and they create problems.

    You have considered all this reconstruction without tables?  A large part of your code looks like it comes from MS Word which is not optimal for the web.

    The background image is + 1000px of wide and 374,01 KB (382 985 bytes).  For the fastest loading backgrounds, consider using Gradients in CSS or small, seamless tiles and repeating to fill the viewport.

    Honestly, I don't see anything here that couldn't be done better & much more effectively with a formatting table-less CSS. You want me to show you how?
