  You can create your own text captions, but it will need to create a FCM and the BMP file. Take a look in the Gallery\Captions to see what I mean.

  Another option, if you don't need the small triangles that you have failing legends (legend?), is to create a rectangle (or oval or polygon) and by double-clicking on this drawing, you can insert text as well. It is easy to change the fill color of these drawing objects.

  I'm WORD 2007 documents on a LCD Dell monitor display. Selected-text-point color highlight default appears as a light blue barely visible.

  I would like to change this color to something more visible, especially when I do a SEARCH/REPLACE, maybe even a bright yellow.

  Ah, I think I understand now.

  Try that and see if it's what you want

  Right-click on properties/Desktop

  On the appearance tab click the Advanced button

  If you select the text layer and press the U key twice, you will see all the properties that are changed from the default settings. If the preset text sets the green color and the fill color of the text should appear. Just change the color of your new color and then select all changed properties and register a new replace animation preset the existing one. If the animation preset does not define a fill color, then you can add it by using the ADD function in the timeline. Choose RGB.

• Hotspots, changing the colors of links on working capital, etc.

  Hotspots are areas within an image map.  IOW: a single image with several different links on this subject.  You get no effect hover on image maps. I'm sorry.

• Can not change the color of the text! Help?

  It's so frustrating, but I can't just change the color of my text, no matter how I try. Does anyone else have this problem ever. It's the easiest thing, and I'm shocked that this is happening.

  I'm trying to Flash Builder 4.5 and got library external .swc (made with Flash and Flex components Kit) with some objects. One of these objects is a text field with the text. I need to change the color of this text and I don't know if it's possible. I tried to change the 'color' property, but it does not change the color. I tried "setStyle ('color', 0xff000)", but it returns an error.

  Is there another way to change the color of the text .swc of Flex/Flash Builder?

  Ask the DFL used to create the swc, so you can inspect.

  My apologies if this has been covered (I watch!).

  I would like to change the color of hyperlink text in all of my theme, but I'll settle even to do within the just a legend style.

  I have not searched for it inside the Style object manager but no luck yet.

  I'd rather not have to go through and highlight every hyperlink and change the color in the character palette each time that a customer has a change of heart/hue. I'm really universal styles from an InDesign environment.

  Captivate has no character or paragraph style (which miss me too much). The Style of the object manager only has styles 'object', which means that the size of the attribute, the color and the font are part of a container style text, which also includes alignment, background and outline of the container (legend or form). For the same reason that you cannot create a new style of restyled 'hyperlink' word or phrase, not to apply these changes to "all objects of the same type," because a hyperlink is not considered an "object" in the terminology of Captivate. I understand it, with a background of InDesign that it smells very bad, but fundamental objectives of Captivate aren't really on design but on e-learning. A long paragraph to tell you that I can't offer any simple workflow at all. It would be great if you have entered a feature request, although there are so many requests on the team list.
