  I would try using the Windows uninstall cleanup tool. Click here to download the utility.
  You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

  See if this will help. If not, then you could try a 3rd party removal tool. Do a search on the internet you will find several you can try.

  I have two accounts in my Vista operating system. Somehow, I don't remember how, I set the guest account to the 'big' if my partner can read. However, my account has now by default 'big' - which means the appearance is very blurry and I can't read an entire e-mail on the screen, among other extremely troublesome issues.   (1) in Movie Maker... go... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab
  and uncheck all filters / OK

  (2) check your source file formats...

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Music - wma, wav, wmv

  (3) problems can occur if a project is too complex... sometimes
