Change the GLOBAL_NAME 11 g RAC

Hi, all.

I'm under a node two database 11g RAC on RHEL5 (11.1.0.7). I need to change the GLOBAL_NAME.

SQL > select * from global_name;

GLOBAL_NAME
----------------------
dbname

SQL > ALTER DATABASE RENAME GLOBAL_NAME to dbname.companyname.com

I just want to confirm that I have only to run on one node and to fix the links to the db.

Are there other measures involved since it is a CCR environment?

Thanks in advance!

    In such cases, the first assumption is aligned to the pixel grid.

    You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

    It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

This is true in the quick navigation bar both the appearance section. In older documents, I can change the size of race less 1pt. I downloaded the latest updates, which did not fix this problem. Is there something in the settings that control this?

    You are probably using the web profile for new documents, which must align with the grid of pixels by default. Yout want only power off, otherwise your fat Wight Stork should be a pixel tis number 1 or a multiple of.

    If you do not work on web documents, modify your new document profile.

  • How to stop to change the weight of the race when changing the size of an object in CS5 on Windows 7?

    I'm not sure what I did to make this happen or how to change it back in, but for some reason when I change the size of a subject line / it changes the weight of the race as well. (For example, if I drew an ellipse with race weight pt 2 and then increase the size of the weight of the race would be pt 2,856 or some such number instead of 2 pt.) Does anyone know how to change this back?

    I donno if it is different from the database unique place instance. But the steps are:

    SQL > shutdown immediate
    SQL > startup mount
    SQL > alter archivelog database;
    SQL > alter database open;

    But before that, you need to configure the flash recovery area and assign it to the appropriate size.

    If you also want to enable return of flame and then with 11g, you can do it online.
    SQL > alter flashback database;

    If you manually ('hard') the clock game, I recommend the closing of the database and the clusterware. The essential point here is deepening hard...

    The command

    ALTER SYSTEM SET AUDIT_SYS_OPERATIONS = TRUE scope=SPFILE SID='*' ;

  • Changing the duty cycle of PWM on during the race

    Hello

    I am trying to generate a my C Code PWM signal.

    It works fine except for the fact that I can not change the operating factor during execution of the generation of PWM signals.

    Here's what I do:

    //Init DAQmxCreateTask("masterP",&task_pwmout);
    DAQmxCreateCOPulseChanFreq(task_pwmout,taskchans1,NULL,DAQmx_Val_Hz , DAQmx_Val_Low , 0.0,freq,duty);
    DAQmxCfgImplicitTiming(task_pwmout,DAQmx_Val_ContSamps,1000);
    DAQmxStartTask(task_pwmout);

    ...//Stop DAQmxStopTask(task_pwmout);

    It works well, but the duty cycle is fixed.

    I tried to change the cyclical report but it seems that the only way it works is like this:

    //Init DAQmxCreateTask("masterP",&task_pwmout);
    DAQmxCreateCOPulseChanFreq(task_pwmout,taskchans1,NULL,DAQmx_Val_Hz , DAQmx_Val_Low , 0.0,freq,duty);
    DAQmxCfgImplicitTiming(task_pwmout,DAQmx_Val_ContSamps,1000);
    DAQmxStartTask(task_pwmout);
    ...
    //Change Duty Cycle DAQmxStopTask(task_pwmout);
    DAQmxSetCOPulseDutyCyc(task_pwmout,taskchans1,duty);
    DAQmxStartTask(task_pwmout);
    ...
    //Stop DAQmxStopTask(task_pwmout);

    I have to stop the task, set the new cycle and restart the task.

    Unfortunately, it takes some time (~ 100 ms) which means that during this time, the PWM is turned off.

    Is there a way to change the smoother operating factor, so there is no gap between?

    Thanks in advance.

    Christian

    Hi Christian,

    You are right. Stop a restart of the task is a very slow way to adjust the pulse width. This page describes the option adjust the factor of market during execution by using the function "DAQmxWriteCtrFreqScalar". By calling this function in a loop, after the start of your task, you will be able to adjust the frequency and factor use of your task, simply by changing the settings.

    I would like to know if it works for you.

    Concerning

  • change the subnet Rac

    Hi gurus,

    Im working on CARS (11.2.0.3) 2 nodes, under RHEL 5.3

    I had to update some scan/vip /... and I used documents 276434.1 and 283684.1 for this purpose. Everything worked fine, but when I rebooted both servers I can't start scan, I check the logs and found this:

    CRS-2674: beginning of "ora.scan2.vip", the "RAC2' failed

    CRS-5017: the action "ora.scan2.vip start" resource has met the following error:

    CRS-5009: virtual 192.168.XXX.XXX IP address does not belong to the subnet 192.168.XXX.XXX

    . For details, refer to "(:CLSN00107:))" "in ' / u01/app/grid/log/rac1/agent/crsd/orarootagent_root/orarootagent_root.log '.

    CRS-2674: beginning of "ora.scan2.vip", the "RAC1' failed

    CRS-2632: there is no more servers to try to put the resources ' ora. LISTENER_SCAN2. LSNR' on which would meet its investment policy

    RPRC-1079: could not start the ora of the resource. LISTENER_SCAN3. LSNR

    CRS-5017: the action "ora.scan3.vip start" resource has met the following error:

    CRS-5009: virtual 192.168.XXX.XXX IP address does not belong to the subnet 192.168.XXX.XXX

    . For details, refer to "(:CLSN00107:))" "in ' / u01/app/grid/log/rac2/agent/crsd/orarootagent_root/orarootagent_root.log '.

    CRS-2674: beginning of "ora.scan3.vip", the "RAC2' failed

    CRS-5017: the action "ora.scan3.vip start" resource has met the following error:

    CRS-5009: virtual 192.168.XXX.XXX IP address does not belong to the subnet 192.168.XXX.XXX

    . For details, refer to "(:CLSN00107:))" "in ' / u01/app/grid/log/rac1/agent/crsd/orarootagent_root/orarootagent_root.log '.

    Check if the scan configuration and has obtained subnet, netmask and interface was wrong so I did:

    # $GRID_HOME/bin/crsctl modify resource ora.net1.network -attr "USR_ORA_SUBNET=192.168.xxx.xxx"

      # $GRID_HOME/bin/crsctl modify resource ora.net1.network -attr "USR_ORA_NETMASK=255.255.xxx.xxx"

      But always had bad interface

      SCAN name: scanVV, network: 1/192.168.XXX.XXX/255.255.xxx.xxx/eth3 <-should have eth0 rather eth3)

      SCAN VIP name: scan1, IP: /scanv3/192.168.XXX.XXX

      SCAN VIP name: scan2, IP: /scanv3/192.168.XXX.XXX

      SCAN VIP name: scan3, IP: /scanv3/192.168.XXX.XXX

      I been looking for but do not know how to change the name of the interface... any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

      How do I change?

      I found the answer

      When I checked the values of network, I saw:

      network config srvctl [oracle@rac2 bin] $

      Network exists: 1/192.168.X.X/255.255.XXX. X / eth3, static type

      Network: 3/192.168.XXX.XXX/255.255.XXX.XXX/eth0, static type

      network 1 should be with the values of the 3 network and vice versa. Default SCAN takes the values of the network 1.

      I tried to edit with 'srvctl edit k - 1 s 92.168.XXX.XXX/255.255.XXX.XXX/eth0 network' and 'srvctl change network k - 3 s 192.168.X.X/255.255.XXX. "X / eth3", at this stage, I checked the values of vip/scan /... and has not performed well... everything was down, now I know that I must restart the cluster to get the new configuration after change.

      As I does not restart, I was panic and I tried my second option, network configuration delete and recreate with the good:

      remove all the network + vip:

      [root@rac1]./srvctl remove vip 192.168.X.XXX, 192.168.XXX.XXX, 192.168.XXX.XXX, 192.168.X.XXX f y - v-i

      create network + vip with correct network number:

      [root@rac1]./srvctl add vip - n RAC1 k 1 - a 192.168.XXX.XXX/255.255.XXX.XXX/eth0

      [root@rac1]./srvctl add vip - n RAC2 k 1 - a 192.168.XXX.XXX/255.255.XXX.XXX/eth0

      [root@rac1]./srvctl add vip - n RAC1 k - 3-A 192.168.X.XXX/255.255.XXX. X / eth3

      [root@rac1]./srvctl add vip - n RAC2 k - 3-A 192.168.X.XXX/255.255.XXX. X / eth3

      Now everything works well again. Hope my question will help someone someday
