Change the margins

Hello

I am a newbie. I created a web gallery in flash format.

I would like to find a way to change the two topics.

1. How can I adjust the margins surrounding the flash presentation? I would like to reduce the size of the margins to get rid of orders and the menu so I can incorporate this into a web page without taking up all of the extra real estate.

2. I use the slideshow affecting only and I would firstly the flash presentation to start automatically once the page loads.

Is this possible? Maybe in the java file?

Adjust margins, etc in the Flash based Gallery is a bit tricky and more trouble than what it's worth, in my opinion. I would recommend one of the 2 solutions if you want to get into another Flash file.

1. export the images and build your own gallery in your Flash file. It will give you more control over you want.

If this isn't an option:

2. review a few galleries of third party. SlideShowPro (www.slideshowpro.net) is a very popular option for export to Flash with many more options that you get from Lightroom out of the box.

I converted a PDF file to word. Can I change the words, but not the page. I can't change the margins. If I delete a picture of the page, space where the image is unusable.  Can someone help me please? Gary

    Thank you, Gary!

I appreciate your comments! Start with the basics: Getting Started with ExportPDF

And here's a more complete step by step (that you already know, but I'll give the full game!):

    1. Sign in to your account on https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf.
    2. Click on PDF files select export.
    3. Click on choose the files on my computer.
    4. Select one or more files and click on choose (you can select multiple files by pressing the Shift or Ctrl key when you click on the file).
    5. To convert to the: menu popup, select the output format you want (in this case, Microsoft Word).
    6. Let the language of the local menu Document configured to English (unless the PDF is in a foreign language).
    7. Click Export to Word. (The name of this button will vary depending on what format you selected in step 5)
    8. Once the file is converted, it will appear at the bottom of the window, listed under exported files.
    9. Hover your mouse over the thumbnail image of the file, and then click the icon that appears on the left side of the thumbnail to download the file in your downloads folder. (You can also click on the files tab in the upper part of the window to see a complete list of all converted files).
    10. Once you have downloaded the file, you can open it up in Word for editing.

I hope this helps! If this isn't the case, you know where to find me!

    Best,

    Hello

Select master pages in the 'Pages' Panel and go to the "Pages", submenu "margins & columns" menu (I use a french version, so may be the translation is incorrect!).

  • Change the margins of the text book

I'm rather "out of practice" with the ID now and the next problem will prove just how...

Work on a book where I sank throughout the text. Now I have to change the margins on all pages, which I've tried to modify in master pages.

The text, however, does not change the way it fits into the new margins. How do I properly?

Turn on release of Layout (layout > setting layout...) Before changing the margins and frames that are broken the margin guides should adjust to the new guides.

  • Change the margins... How update text blocks to match?

    Hello

I have a 80-something-odd-page document, I needed to change the margins on. No problem. Now, however, I want to update the 80-something-odd text frames to match the new margins. No, I was not choosing "Master-text block" when I created the document, because I am new to the program and I am usually not smart.

Is there a way to do this?

Alternatively, if I now create a new document (with master selected text block), I can "place" the old document in there?

Thank you very much! Someone out there, you'll earn my cyber-praise with a response.

There is no need of a block of text type.

If you all of your blocks of text created by hand, but made sure to exactly match the lil purply indicators 'margins', all you have to do is enable layout adjustment, in the menu available. Then change your margins - you will see that your text frames will follow. (Toot suite too, as say the French!)

I need to adjust the margins when printing a page on the web. Draw the bottom of the page. When checking in print preview mode, the borders are in millimeters. I would like to change that in inches (which I'm more familiar with). Where can I change the settings of the metric system in inches.

{Ctrl + P} then properties = you have selected paper letter or A4 size?

A4 is a bit more of letter-size paper.

From what I've seen on my PC, you get mm with paper of size metric and fractional measures with U.S. paper sizes.

You can customize the control by right-clicking the control, going "Advanced-> customize...". »

When the control appear in a different window, you can change the 'Customize mode' to 'edit mode' using the key/compass on the toolbar button.

In customize mode you can resize the background, it takes less space.

  • How can I change the margins of page on the HP 4620?

On my HP 4620 all-in-One default page margins are too narrow. The top and bottom of the lines on the printed page are cut off. How can I change the page pargins by default at least 0.25 inches at the top and bottom of the page? I use standard paper in the print bed. I searched through manuals and online and am coming up with nothing. I use a MAC with the latest OSX computer. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I'll do some checking double and let you know what happens. I just printed page 36 of the User Guide, and it printed fine. The other document that did not print correctly was a form which I had filled out on the internet and then print a copy of what I had filled out. I'll try to print a page or two of my Mac Pages document and see if that print very well. I appreciate your comments. Thanks again.

  • change the margins in the print module

Since a few days, I work with LR CC on an iMac. I imported several templates in the print module. Now on a landscape A4 page LR used margins (right 1.44 cm and left 0.64 cm) and I can't change them. On all models of mij LR straing margins there. How can I remove the margins?

To set the margins to 0, you must first open the printer driver settings (inside LR print module) and set the edge mode printer driver.

LR load minimum border, it shows the driver.

  • How can I change the margins in Word output?

I use RoboHelp 9 in an intermediate format to convert the source FrameMaker 10 old school 7 - bit ASCII text with layout. The entire path is FrameMaker > RoboHelp > Word 2010 > save as MS-DOS text with layout. I have this work with MIF2Go but you want to move to RoboHelp since that's what the company has.

Layout of the doc FrameMaker is 8.5 "x 11" with. 25 "margins (text 8" column). The text is Courier New 12.

  • change the margins of text caption

I want to add some padding around my text captions. When I change the FCM file, reduce the image of legend, but the text box remains the same, have the opposite effect of what I want.

    So, here's what I do:

    Copy HaloYellow3.bmp and HaloYello3.fcm and rename HaloYellow3 - padded

Open HaloYellow3 - padded. The FCM and the change in the margins of 10 to 20

Select the text of the legend on stage and change the type of legend to HaloYellow3 - padded

    Why it does not work?

    Hello

Legends have a minimum size. This size is determined by the size of the bitmap used as the background of the legend. Among the types of legend provided are quite large.

If you play with the FCM files, note that you must do this with a throwaway project. Adjust the settings of the FCM, use the legend in an empty project. Get what you want? Scrap, adjust and start over. Rinse and repeat until the margins look acceptable, THEN use the type of legend in a live project.

Once a type of legend has been used, it is then cached inside of the. CP or. File CPTX and no change is reflected.

    See you soon... Rick
