  OK, well, the title of example I have of is from 1 to 2 stereo audio source, recorded and 1 voice is music.

  In this case, my sequence is prepared as mono tracks and when this happens, I'll have 4 audio layers in sequence.

  -time passed and changes are made-

  and it's time to do the audio balance. When I add a keyframe, it only affects only one channel of the layer, not the two channels at the same time.

  How do I change the preferences to keyframe so it will have an impact on the L & R channel on dual mono source (stereo)?

  Place a stereo clip in a stereo track.

  If by frequency you mean sampling frequency so you can edit the audio file by double-clicking on the item in the multitrack and then right click once you are in the edit mode and select 'convert sample type"and you can change to say 48 k say 44.1 k or something else.

  If you mean, by frequency, pitch so you can do this by again taking the clip view editing and in the menu select Effects > time and Pitch > Pitch Shift

  Region selected: in the region Inspector, uncheck 'follow Tempo and Pitch '.

  This will separate your audio region of tempo changes.

• How can I change the unique name of Report.vi in the images?

  I have a VI that generates an HTML with the Report.vi that is intended to be downloaded for the monitoring of certain values via internet, and I generate the html code of all the 15 minutes.  My problem is that even if the file report.HTML is replaced the graphic images are not. After a day or 2 so I have lots of jpgs in my file with only 1 htm file. Is - this here anyway to make the report.vi to change this and simply use the same name for the graphics? So I just end up with 3 files instead of a lot after a few days.

• Change the color of track between the sliders?

  I tried to figure this out, but nothing helped.  Here's what I would do:

  I use the cursors on a XY trace to read information only between the sliders for additional data (made with property nodes and base Subvi I wrote to print the table of points between the sliders).  It works very well.  What I want to do (i.e. my boss ) is to have the color of the line between the change of cursors by a different color than the rest of the data track.  I tried a few things from property node, but nothing worked.  Anyone has a suggestion (if that is even possible)?  Thanks in advance.

  Since you have already recovered the data of interest, the hardest part is done.

  You now need to split the existing parcel into two unique parcels.

  The first will be as many points as the complete data set, but all the points that are not inbetween the sliders will be replaced by "NaN" so that they don't draw.

  The second will be similar, but the values of interest will be replaced by NaN.

  When the two are drawn using different colors, you will get what you want.

  You may need to fidle ot a bit on the edges if the boss wants it looks like the plot connects and keep in mind, the first plot is "high".

  I like my Clip + SanDisk.  However, I use it exclusively for listening to audio books, and it is painful to have to use the Advanced setting every time I have download a book to put the book in the audio books folder.  How can I change the default folder of "Music" of "audio books"?

  I have crossed a reinstall of my machine to vCenter using my existing db, but do not go back and change the ID Unique in what it was previously, and it caused no ill effects.  Having said that, for consistency, I made them the same thing.  I know that the ID to be used only for MAC and UUID, so there should be no problem.

• Satellite A100-998: mono/stereo mix not available under Vista

  Windows Vista and the Microsoft default value "High definition Audio Device" driver (automatically selected and installed by Setup of Vista), no recording device is listed with the exception of the Microphone, Line In, CD Audio, as in this screenshot of the A100-998 in question:

  No new Mix or record Waveout options of the device, which means that you can not, for example, doesn't record audio stream on the Internet. I tried the latest drivers from Realtek HD Audio for Vista (30/11/2006 R1.52). No change. Is there a way/driver to enable this as in other Windows Vista machines.

  Is also the audio material in the A100-998 "Vista Premium Ready" with the specifications set out in the http://www.optimalsound.net/?

  It's the third disappointment. The first two were that he has not delivered with the announced NVIDIA GF7400 (came to the square with 7300) and the second is that the hard drive is 4200 RPM (instead of the advertised 5400).

  However, it would be better that Vista Realtek/Toshiba/Microsoft "High definition Audio Device" driver is updated to include the Waveout/Mono/Stereo Mix (under "recording devices"), so that programs that rely on it are broken. SoundTap can do on Vista means that it is not a hardware limitation.

  PS new Vista sound effects as Loudness equalization, Room Correction, Bass Management and Virtual Surround are already supported in the current drivers Vista (the driver from Realtek v1.52 and that by default by Microsoft) in Satellite A100-998.

• PE4. Change the type of extension/location, but not the mounting clip

  Hello and Hello to all once again.

  Here is a basic overview of what I've done and what I * want * to be able to do next.

  I have a piece of relatively low quality of the music which I have added to a track on the timeline.  It's over long 6mins and I used keyframes (?) throughout the track to reduce the volume of every time that the Narrator speaks, (another track on the timeline) and then lift the piece of music volume back up again when he doesn't speak. Do this and make the spot - we took some time to considerabnle.

  Guess what?  I have now received a much better quality of audio in exactly the same way.

  So my question, if you please - how to change the destination of track timeline music... ?
  It is a diffiuclt little to explain... I just want to change the source of a piece of music, so instead of a horrible dusty mp3 version, I mean PE4 use .wav place - without remove the track on the timeline and lose all my audio keyframes.

  Is it possible to select the audio track on the timeline or project, then right-click and selecting Properties and then change the location of the files... ?

  I don't know if that makes sense!  Is this possible?

  Peter,

  Put your music on another Audio track. RT-click the keyframes, and then select copy. Then Rt click on the again and choose Paste attributes. This assumes that you have used the keyframes of the elements. If you used track keyframes in the original, you would simply replace your original with the new Clip, as track keyframes would remain. Track keyframes are added in the Audio Mixer Panel.

  What version of GarageBand you have?

  In GarageBand 10 you can show the TrackLock in the menu of the track:

  Athletics > follow the header > show Track Lock.

  Also, check if the automation curves have been added to your tracks. You cannot change the volume or track Pan by using the controls in the header of the track, if an automation has been added. You will need to change it in the automation curve.

I want to change the names of track 1, track 2, track 3, etc, so I would like to be able to enter the name of the TRACK and then, it automatically adds sequential numbers (identical to finder).

• How can I set up stereo audio tracks as default in first using the ProRes 422 codec?

  Forgive me if this has been asked several times before. I searched but can't find anything that explained in a language that does not require a degree in computer engineering.

  I'm a new convert to our beloved FCP 7. I'm learning to love dear first - but the audio part of this is driving me crazy.

  I exported from FCP files as ProRes 422 movies with stereo audio tracks. I want to put first in the same way. But when I do it all crashed in a single audio file.

  It plays havoc with the Pan - especially in mixtures which have a mix of stereo music. Apart from this it just confuses me.

  Also. When I create a new project from scratch in the first and I select the custom ProRes 422, this setting doesn't allow to ProRes 422 audio mono. I don't see a codec for something else (ie. stereo).

  Am I missing something?

  I looked in all areas of preferences and can not find anywhere to change this. I just want to import audio data from simple, basic two-lane (and let appear the same) that I would be in FCP, ProTools and the myriad of other editing programs that I use.

  I also want to be able to set up a base of two-way stereo timeline/sequence without having to reinvent the wheel.

  In the project Panel, select all the clips and rightclick/change/audio channels.

  Set it to 2 tack and mono.

  When you drop the clip on the timeline the stereo turns on two tracks.

  You can also set by default in the preferences under Audio (before you import the clips) (stereo to mono).

• Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline?

  I've recently updated my old first 6.5 to the CS6. I have 4 hours of footage that shows my only audio in the Audio track #1. I do not see each channel separately. I need to change the audio channels separately.

  I just found out that I should have changed an audio setting for each prior clip to add it to the timeline in order to have audio channels display separately.

  Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline? I hope of course. It could be done in the first former before Pro.
