change viewing several 2-to-1 page pdf files

Hi all

I have several PDF files which are their properties to display 2 pages at a time.  I would change all of them to have an initial view of a page.  Is there a way to change the properties of the initial view of several PDF files in a single operation?

Thank you

Yes, in a process (or Action), but you must have Acrobat Pro.

Unfortunately, the last few versions of PES are much less talented to work with multi-page files, and you can do this in PSE 12.

I have a printer HP LaserJet CP1525nw color less than a year.  Have always been able to print PDF files. Changed my color toners & now cannot print PDF files. In Adobe fill & sign you can add text, checkmarks, an X, a point and a circle and sign documents.  It does not "change" the existing content of the document.  Here is a tutorial: Tutorial: Introduction to Adobe fill & sign

  • Is it possible to automatically convert a website into a multiple page pdf file?

I have a blog that has now reached the end of his life, and the site is down. Before I do so, however, I need to create a permanent record and a single multi-page pdf file would be perfect.

I know that I can do this with Acrobat Professional, but I hope that there is an automatic way to export the html pages in a single pdf file without making each page one by one manually.

If anyone knows how to perform this task, please let me know.

    Thank you!

Which version of Acrobat you have? In Acrobat 9, you must select:

File > create PDF > from Web Page

    or

Advanced > Web Capture > create PDF from / Append Web Page

There are various options that affect the result, including the number of levels to capture, layout, multimedia how is managed, etc. Acrobat 11 is more advanced and probably give the best results.

  • How can I change the view of the opening of the PDF file

When I open a PDF file, it is always full width of screen and very big, more than 250%.    I would like to open a full page

I know how subsequently change the size on the screen but have not been able to find any type of default settings box that would allow me to change the appearance of the initial screen. Y at - it a box of defaults somewhere?

I found that the answer is to use the edition/preferences. The toolbar (file/Edit/view/window/help) was not present in the screens, I was looking at which was the reason for which I could find no way to change things, fortunately it is available on the other screens of adobe so I can change things there and the changes apply as well in the screens where I had the problem.

It is possible to combine 2 PDFs into a new pdf create a single page? I have a chart that represents a single pdf and a different PDF with other data that I would like to combine in a single page. • Definition of "First view" options by default for new PDF files

I usually want most of the PDFs I create to open the displayed pages Panel and "adjust to the window. Currently I open each PDF file and change it in the properties of the document under the "first view", save and close.

There must be a better way.

Is it possible to set the default type for all PDF documents that are newly created as part of the definition of job options?

I searched in the components of different settings, but nothing helped.

    All advice appreciated.

The initial view (IV) parameters are not part of the options when you create a new PDF, either in Acrobat or the Distiller.

There are several options to apply IV depending on the version of Acrobat you are using. You can create an Action in Acrobat X that applies IV to any file open according to your needs and possibly save it as well. In Acrobat 9 or an earlier version, you can do a similar thing with a sequence of batch process.

If you need to reach IV in the context of the creation while you can use a "epilogue.ps" script to add commands that Distiller will add to the PDF and link PS file to one of the presets of distillery distillers.

Lori Kassuba has a blog post about this method.

  • Creating a single multi-page PDF file turns out to be... hard...

Hello world!  We are a small company and we try to do our monthly billing.  We have four distinct (empty) State Agency bills that we contract, and we got them all filled out and ready to save as PDF.

We want to create a single PDF file that includes all four completed pages.  When combine us them into a single PDF in Acrobat, it processes the information from the first page and any information on the other three pages, replacing all the original information.  We have not even a warning us saying that this will happen, so that we know what happens deliberately.  Why?

As a solution to this problem very strange and unstoppable, we tried to create a '' portfolio '' with all four sides.  But there is apparently no way to then save these four pages in PDF regular and unique.  We can save it as a PDF Portfolio and that they are beautiful, but we do not know if the Agency has the ability to view the PDF Portfolio.  We have tried to look at one of these PDF portfolio with the standard Acrobat Reader and that the software won't load even.  Google Chrome also not opens it, recommending that get us Acrobat Reader CC.

It has also been suggested that we try an online program called Pdfmerge.  Pdfmerge merge all of our documents into a single PDF file, which is excellent!  But when you try to display it on any other program, you'll find that all fields on all pages except the first page... empty...

We want to just ordinary, standard, simple PDFs here, with several pages.  My research on that led me to the conclusion that I'm not the only one frustrated by the lack of simplicity to do something so... simple.

Why the program would tell us, ' well, since all the fields on all of these pages are the same, we have decided to take all the info from the first page, delete all your other pages and then basically to create copies of the page one. " While never, EVER would be a necessary thing or practice?  «I need to create a PDF file with 50 pages, all the same exact page.»

    Help out me here!

It happens because your bills contain form fields and fields with the same name in a single file will always be the same value.

The solution is to flatten the files before their merger, converting the fields in the form of static content.

If you have Acrobat Pro, then you can do it by using a simple gesture. Otherwise, you will need to do each file separately.

  • MULTI-PAGE PDF FILE

You can create a multipage PDF file in Photoshop Elements 8? If so, how?

    Hello Brooklyn KJ,

Yes, the PSE can create multipage PDF. First of all, you must designate that your document contains several pages. You can do this in a number of ways, but under the Edit menu is the command Add blank Page. Using this command will convert your document open in a PSE. You can continue to add pages and cut and paste the content of each page. Then, simply go to file > save as... to change the format of the PSE as a PDF (the only two available choices). You now have a multiple page PDF.

  • Impossible to read multiple page pdf files

I have a file on our network, which has several pages.

When I try to open it, I get an error.

"to display the contents of the flash technology in this PDF file, please install this version of flash player that supports acrobat and adobe reader"

I can open it from another windows XP computer.

I reinstalled the software adobe reader and flash player, but nothing helped.

original computer is windows XP with adobe reader flash 11 and 15.

my computer is win 7 with IE10 and 15, 11 flash drive I am unable to open it.

    Help, please.

You must install the flashplayer Plugin, not the Internet Explorer version. It does not help that Adobe have broken their own download page. But try to run it at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and seek "other versions" then the thing for FireFox. Put down the "free offer".

  • Create a single high image of a multi-page pdf file

I would take a multi pake pdf file, and have all pages "joint" from top to lower edge to create a single image of high. I am a teacher and I currently do this by hand, I can then annotate the entire page and croll down to an entire document inside Photoshop.

Here's an example: I have a 4 page pdf. Currently I opened the PDF in PS, I find myself with 4 images; I adjust the size of the vertical Web of one of the images to be 4 times its original size, then one by one, I copy the content of each image to this new high image and move the layer vertically below the other. The result means a 1024 x 6400 pixel image.

I would like to be able to simply open the PDF with a script and get this all done in one step.

    Any help is appreciated.
