  License CD was only good for installation on a PC.  CS4 is too old to cross-grade to a Mac version.  Cross-grades are allowed for the most recent version (CS6).  You can also subscribe the creative cloud where the two platforms are planned with the same subscritpion.

  I used Sync for modules just a few times; enough to learn some of its limitations and a few oddities... The reactivation of Sync can now produce unacceptable results. The synchronization service was made to be all the time, to not be disabled and re activated at will. And as far as Add-ons go, he seems to favour 'additional' addons that the user cannot specify or prioritize or 'meaning' to what gets sync'd where.

  Here's my situation:

  I have a pc at home, with a * screen and a 5 nice work k iMac.

  I use the same CC account for both systems, but have separate libraries (personal stuff on the PC, work stuff on the mac)

  Because my screen is so crappy I would check my pictures on the mac (again, not in the same network location and a different catalog) and change them if necessary.

  This would mean that I would need to access the RAW file and changes and shoot those on mac, edit them and push back them.

  What would be the best way to do this?

  Lightroom Mobile does not support several libraries so it does not work.

  They only way in my opinion work exports the images of catalogue, put on dropbox or car, its import on the mac and then export again the reader?

  I hope that there is a way to better/more easy to do this?

  The best solution is to put your catalog and photos on an external drive and use on both computers. Your idea will work to some extent, but you still have a problem of where to store your photos.

  You should be able to download the Mac to your Mac and use the same serial number to activate it.  Elements programs are one of the few who have licenses good for both platforms.

  Serial numbers are specific to operating systems as are the versions of the software... your Windows of CS6 version will not work on a Mac and your windows serial number will not work on a Mac.  Since it is CS6 you have the possibility to change platforms.  See the following for instructions:
