  • How do I know the admin for weblogic server port

I have Oracle Weblogic server installed on my Windows 7 machine. I want to know if the server is running and which is the port of admin for him. Can someone guide me?

the default is 7001. If the weblogic administration console is accessible by http://localhost:7001 / console

If weblogic is installed you will have weblogic home i.e. middleware... you can check that... These are all default values and can change according to the approx... but usually these things by default.

  • How to change the database of weblogic IP/Hostname?

Our current development middleware stack contains:

WebLogic, WebCenter, WebTier, and OAM all pointing to the same repository of db oracle via an IP address (because of host name resolution problems.)  Unfortunately the database server's IP has changed and I cannot start the weblogic administration console to change the IP address of the database.

    «"" "Guide to Oracle: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/core.1111/e10105/host.htm#CHDBBIAH »»»"

    Excerpt:

Task 5 changing the system Data Source

If you use the IP address in the data source definition, modify the system data source to use the new IP address for the metadata repository. To do this, you use the Oracle WebLogic Server Administration Console:

Extract to start the WebLogic administration Console:

    < 27 August 2013 21:52:03 CEST > < WARNING > < JDBC > < BEA-001129 > < receipt exception creating connection to pool "SDM-CustomPortalDS": IO error: the network adapter could not establish the connection. >

For this particular case, we can simply reinstall the entire stack but would prefer a clean resolution.

There seems to be two issues here. The console is just a request, so I'll assume

what you mean is that the Server WebLogic himself primer not, probably because some

essential service depends on your data source, your data source cannot deploy, and this is the config insists

on an initial capability greater than zero...

Then, go to your config/jdbc directory, subdirectory of the main domain and for each data source

you have, there will be an .xml file. Edit each file that represents a data source for the affected

DBMS and change the URL of a given driver, to have the good, DBMS new machine name/IP address.

Then try to restart WebLogic and see if you're OK...

  • How to change the HTTPS Console Weblogic admin port

    Hello

I want to change my HTTPS Console port which was default port 7799 to other ports and also weblogic admin port 7101 to another port.
How we change that. Thank you

    Thank you
    Sachin Bhadauria

you need to change the powers of oversight for the EMGC_GCDomain reflect the new administration server port.
    Go to the target-> Middleware-> EMGC_Domain
Select Configuration of the target-> supervision of the identification information in the drop farm
    Change the Port field
Return to the menu drop-down firm and select Refresh WebLogic Domain-> Add targets to update
The objectives of OHS and Server Admin should now appear in the console. I checked on my test site.

  • Need to change the database to another server

    Hello

We purchased a new server and want to move our database to the new. I intend to do following things:

    (1) stop the database and backup to take.

    (2) create a new database on the new server with the same structure of directory and same name.

    (3) copy all the files to the new server (file initorcl.ora, password, data files, control files).

    (4) give old IP of the server to the new server.

    (5) make the necessary changes to Tnsnames.ora, listener.ora.

    (6) start the database.

Please advice if I am out of the important steps.

    Thank you

Step 2 is not necessary and can be confusing because it creates data files that you don't want! (you want the data files to from the "old" Server).
However, if the platform is Windows, you will need to create the Windows Service to start the database instance.

  • Y at - it no problem when changing the OC4J to WEBLOGIC Server

    Hello

We need to develop a product in Jedeveloper 11 g. In development mode, used as application WEBLOGIC 10.3 Server. But during the mode of production, we must apply the EAR oc4J APPLICATION Server files.

While changing this, I know my system work as such in the WEBLOGIC Server?

If I have loss any specific fuctionalities Rich Ajax? Is everything working in development is necessary?

Everything in Google search, I found, in JDeveloper 11 g oracle prefer WEBLOGIC instead of OC4j. Can someone tell the reason for it.

    Thank you
    Thierry.

    Thierry,

OC4J is a java container in the OAS.

The link you provided States exactly the same thing as I have indicated above, namely that the ADF applications would not be supported on OAS/OC4J.

  • SID and the name of the Service on Weblogic Server

    Dear,
My question is related to the Data Source, when I create a new source of data weblogic server version 10.3.6.0, I have the name of the database as SID not Service name.
When I put the name of the database in the SID of the error below will appear:

Test failed: listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener is not currently of SID given in connect descriptor

My question is weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 take the name of the database as SID? or there is a way to use the database SID weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 user?

Now I test the name of database on Jdeveloper Version 11.1.1.4.0 and create the new connection to database as below:
1 - when I choose the SID, the error above is
    2. when I choose the name of Service everything works correctly.

Now I need put the user weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 as SID to be pass and continue working on my project.

    Thank you
    $ oerr ora 12505
12505, 00000, "TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor"
// *Cause: The listener received a request to establish a connection to a
// database or other service. The connect descriptor received by the listener
// specified a SID for an instance (usually a database instance) that either
// has not yet dynamically registered with the listener or has not been
// statically configured for the listener. This may be a temporary condition
// such as after the listener has started, but before the database instance
// has registered with the listener.
    // *Action:
// - Wait a moment and try to connect a second time.
// - Check which instances are currently known by the listener by executing:
    //    lsnrctl services
// - Check that the SID parameter in the connect descriptor specifies

Thank you for posting the connection string you use and, since the database server, the result of "lsnrctl services."

  • How to change the default integrated weblogic listen IP address?

    Hi all
Hopefully a simple question in my embedded weblogic Server jdev comes well: 127.0.0.1:7101
question is - how can I change the IP address to the real IP address of this computer for example 192.168.0.10?
If I replace the one in the browser then it fails and not specifically, netstat displays it listens on the 127.0.0.1:7101 * 7101.
Is it possible to change this in jdeveloper? I found the WL Server integrated into navigation, tried right click
but found no possibility to change... I confirm that/etc/hosts has 192.168.0.10 as the first line.
(I need to do so that I can test servlet sessions via JSESSIONID from a PC and a browser on the different network).
    Thank you very much!

    Colin,

In the Application-> Properties dialog box, select the 'Run' node (and if you use 11.1.2 click on the button "load the extension" if necessary). There will be a button "Application Server Properties". Click on that and then go to the Configuration tab - you can change the address of bind and port there.

    Edit: or more directly:

Discover-> Application Server browser then right click on the server application integrated-> properties and change the configuration it.

  • Proposal Setup infrastructure - Oracle database, LDAP, Weblogic Server, part operational

    Hello Experts!

First of all, until I opened this topic I tried to search for similar positions that can hold at least part of the necessary information for me. This topic is that most related to the architecture of the whole system in the sense of the application that contains a part of database (oracle with data models database), the operational part (unix scripts called from the web interface), weblogic server where MS Java application runs and the last part is LDAP Setup for supported LDAP grups.

Currently confirmed architecture is for me unacceptable from the point of view of dorsal because everything would be installed on the same physical server (physical machine). From my point of view, there should be at least 3 physical separate servers:

    (1) Server database where the Oracle database is installed (say ommit backup and disaster at this stage recovery)

    (2) operation of servers shared between several applications to manage operational tasks and application configurations

    (3) separate server for Weblogic server, the LDAP server and Java application is

Given that 2 points are obvious to me and I provided them with really simplified form then 3. is not entirely clear to me mainly due to the fact that I am the architect of solution for datawarehausing, not for applications based on J2EE.  Under the following link:

webloic Oracle server needs a server infrastructure

I just read to support failover and balancing I should have two different boxes physical and Weblogic software installed on each of them. I know not so so many separate for the 3rd point above mentioned how boxes I need. I would appreciate if you can share your thoughts on this subject by considering the following points:

-scalability (1000 users at the same time)

    -further development

    -maintenance

    -installation costs

If you can guide also links to cover this topic, I'd be more than happy

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards

    Bolo

    Hi Bolo

Here's WDM of Oracle Identity management includes the installation of OID:

    Content

    I'm sorry for the confusion.

I meant "General guidelines of architecture of say that you should keep the boxes", for example: LDAP must be in another box of WLS, also database must be in a different area, this isn't really something related to Oracle products, it is only related to the definitions of architecture.

WebLogic Server at the end being that a java application is running in the virtual machine JAVA, WLS should run in the same box as the JVM as it comes to a unit in terms of functionality.

    Best regards

  • How to change the name of host server IMO?

    Hi, guru.

Is it possible to change the name of host server IMO?

    Architecture:

    Server A - Oracle RDBMS

Server B - IOM: admin, IOM, soa.

    Version of IOM - 11.1.2.1.0

(If possible) it is necessary to change the server A server B in host names. During installation, the FQN to the server host names have been used.

The procedure for changing the DB server host name is clear and simple. The question is on the server of the IOM.

Unfortunately, I did find the documents that describe the process of change for the IOM system hostname. But fortunately the problem has been resolved.

Shortly, the process is as follows:

    1. in my case: db oracle 11.2, wls 10.3.6, iam 11.1.2.1.0, soa 11.1.6. System - DB Server + server of IOM.

2 VMS when copied to the new server.

    3. change the configuration files of MAC, IP, two servers.

    4. change the host name of the DB server. Restore the dbconsole EM repository (if used).

    5. change the IOM servers configuration with wlst listeners.

    6. change the source URL with wlst database IOM.

7 remove the cache, tmp, newspapers of servers.

    8. replace all references to the old hostname with the new host name in the configuration files.

9 start the administration server. Change in $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/AdminServer/tmp/_WL_user/em/hsz5x1/META-INF/emoms.properties configuration file

    10. restart Admin, start managed servers.

11 change DirectDB, OimFrontEndURL, BackOfficeURL, Rmiurl SOA Soapurl URL in MS (change management of the cycle of life-11 g Release 2 (11.1.2.1.0) management), urls detail task human workflow.

    12. check the application code for direct reference for host name, change.

  • How to change the database metadata after OIM/OAM installed?

    Hello world

To change the database/schema of metadata for our installation OIM/OAM.

What I intend to do is:

    1. create the new db

    2. run the RCU for the OID and OAM utility.

    3. change the connection pool data source in the Weblogic OAM console.

Is there anything else I need to do?

I know, there was a connection to the database when I created the home field of the OID (via config.sh). I tried to run this script config again, but could not find a way to change the domain, nor I see how do in one of the consoles (much).

    Any help appreciated!
    D

for OID, updated if necessary tnsnames.ora and data sources

    OAM, update data sources.

For IOM, consult this section docID 1359656.1: configuration of JDBC connection of IOM in metalink demand side.

  • Change the database file [DFL]

    Hello

I'm looking for a way that may alter the *.ldf database file, some customers do not put the Signal_endcoding_types in the FLA file. I need a way to save the 'coding' in the file with labview UI. I found a few old FLA file API, but I tried, it seems to me that they only works on older versions. My fla file version is LIN_protocol_version = "2.0"; LIN_language_version = "2.1"; could someone tell me if there is a way that can achieve my goal.

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards

    Melo

You want to edit the FLA file?  Because if so there is nothing that neither currently offers that will work for you.  If you want to use the FDL in XNet and you want to change the settings imported from the FLA so you can use the XNet API to achieve this.  When you use XNet you import the FLA (or other database files) and then you can modify the database, but is not edit the FLA.  This changes the database using the XNet, which began with the importation of the DFL.

Recently, there has been updates of XNet which allow you to export a database, but I think they don't support that export to a database BOX.  So with CAN you can import a DBC XNet, change it using the database, editing tools, and then export it to a DBC should have the changes you made.

  • How can I change the domain to a server of comment?

    Acrobat 9 on Windows 7

In addition to editing the registry, how can I change the URL of a comment server which I use for exams?

Earlier, I initiated a shared review but used only the host name of the server, not the fully qualified name (FQN) which includes the full domain name. Now, when I reuse this server for other comments that I initiate, I'm stuck with the unqualified name. People outside of my subnet cannot post comments on the server because the simple host name is not known on their subnet.

How can I change the properties of this server so clients use the FQN?

    Jerry

Yes, you can change the server name in the registry. After change, all the comments that you initiate with this profile will point to the new server location.
