Charge of menus (right click, bookmark, etc.) of Firefox VERY slow
System information:
Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit.
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHz
6 GB memory
Intel SSD 320 series
Gradually, for a few years, FireFox has got slower and slower for me. Not really, navigation, but the menus. It takes place in about 3 seconds to load the right click menu, or the "FireFox" menu at the top left, or book marks.
History, Cache, Cookies have been deleted. All extensions and plugins disabled. If I disable all the startup home pages.
It still responds
When I reinstalled Windows ~ 2 months when I arrived the SSD (it was a clean install) is behavior immediately during installation.
It makes me crazy, and I'm about to give up FireFox!
Anyone know what is happening and how to fix it?
Try turning off hardware acceleration.
- Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.
If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

He is generally meant to be a white background and the image that appears at the top left. I don't remember what I did to change this if it's my fault; If anyone knows how to get back to it, I would be grateful.
This is the new behavior in Firefox 11.

I tried IE9 and Chrome and don't have this problem. Here is a picture of what my right click menu looks like http://imgur.com/APbUc
Yes, you are missing the two options that are usually on top: 'open in a new tab' and 'open in a new window '.
I guess that it is an extension or a wild theme. You can easily test that by starting Firefox with disabled modules: issues to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode
You can then disable all extensions and select one by one to figure on which we have the problem. If you don't have time for that and don't care about the extensions, you can just reset Firefox: Firefox Refresh - reset the parameters and modules

Hello
I'm moving from Chrome to Firefox and had a quick question. I was thinking of using the beta version of Firefox 13, but I was wondering if I switch to the final version when it comes out, Firefox will remember my passwords, bookmarks, etc.. ?
glad you like the improvements in the speed and functionality of the current firefox. during the passage of the version beta to the release version, that you don't have to uninstall the beta version at all. Just download firefox getfirefox.com 13 (he was scheduled to be released June 5) and install it. It will replace the beta version of the program automatically & keep all your changes...

I would enter various notes in the Bookmark Properties window, I had for years. I'd go to Favorites, find the bookmark, click right properties. the s of the Properties window appears, with the name, url, Tag and a Description window. Now when I right click Bookmark, without properties window appears.
I am able to access the Properties window through the bookmarks bar, but not with the bookmark drop down.Hello, you can try to reproduce this behavior when you start firefox in safe mode, once? If not, perhaps an addon intrudes here...

Right click menu items of modules have changed
For some reason, I'll only have this problem on my work computer, not at home, even though I know I am running the same version of Firefox and most of the same extensions (both computers running Windows 7, too). I have at least three different add-ons that include (or) elements of context menu - Pushbullet, Adblock Plus and open in current tab recently - and I don't know what changed to cause this - open in current tab disappeared altogether in the context menu, and Pushbullet and Adblock items moved to the top of the menu, above all that is supposed to be on top , as 'open in a new tab '. I can't find anything in the options of these modules is all relevant. Open in current tab doesn't seem to not even have options. I also installed menu editor, thinking I want to manually change the right-click menu options to the way they were, but none of these menu options Add on appears in the list of available options.
No idea what could be wrong?
HE may have updated in preparation for the e10s in versions every night.
However, it is most likely your addons interaction with the other. Ones you mention have elements in the right click menu, so you can disable all the add ons but those, show the menus right click upward?

Disable the right click Menu of the WebBrowser
Hi all
I use a WebBrowser control to display a Test report in XML format. The problem I have is that right-clicking on WebBrowser displays a context menu. Anyone know how to remove the right click menu option? If not does anyone know a method to display XML files using an indicator that does not include a right click menu?
I've tried to filter the clicks right on WebBrowser, as shown, but this seems to need the delay of 500ms (?) to work on my machine of dev of LV and is not reliable when my application is integrated in an EXE and deployed in a LV Run Time System.
Concerning
Steve
Hi SercoSteveB,
Because the WebBrowser of LabVIEW control uses Internet Explorer. The best way to disable the contextual framework
menu is disable in fact from the Internet Explorer itself. I think that your default browser is not Internet Explorer,
It is therefore prudent to disable right click here.
Here is the manual that explains how do:
Activate or deactivate the contextual menus right click in Windows Explorer
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-disable-right-click-context-menus-Windows-Explorer
I hope that helps!
Kind regards

Disable the right click?
Hello
I have recently downloaded a portfolio for my photography work page, now I want to be able to disable right-clicking right as I did in a previous version of my site. However, I don't want just the box simple pop up asking the user saying that the right click is disabled. I'm after something like a fade with a notice of copyright for a few seconds and then disappears again.
I have Google had this but can't seem to find anything.
The page that I'd be looking to implement this on is here: www.cmiddletonphotography.co.uk/portfolio.htm
I prefer this to code html, javascript or php.
Thank you in advance.
Chris.
> I prefer this to code html, javascript or php.
HTML does not support this and php's script server-side, which obviously does not work. The only way to implement this is with javascript. However, it is quite absurd that there are a dozen ways to copy images that contain no right click. It is also very easy to disable. It also creates an inconvenience for users who navigate with the mouse buttons.
Essential is that it does not prevent someone from stealing your images, but will annoy legitimate visitors.

The 'blues star' image 'button' is to Mark this Page in the right-click menu (context menu).
