• Dynamic Flash paper?

  Paper takes Flash by dynamically generating a flash document to queries of Cold Fusion? If so, what to do and what tools do you need to do? I want the user to select records that they wish to set up on the fly in printable flash paper. I hope a flash document template (header graphics, etc.) could reside on the server and query could fill the body.

  I'm sure this has smething like object tags and the upgrade of IE, but I can't understand it! I have a Flash Paper content that should appear in the center of the page. It very well in FireFox, but in IE, it appears off the table in the lower left corner. What I need to change so that IE will see correctly? Other paper Flash site pages appear fine in IE.   Just fixed it, but I do not remember how! I found a line of additional script code in the HEAD and deleted. That seemed to do the trick, but I not save the code to be able to post here. Sorry!

  I have re-uploaded my Macromedia Studio 8 and can't seem to remember how to get the use of Flash Paper more. I had it and it wasn't great, but now I don't know what to do so I can use it. In truth I have not yet knowing if I could down it loads as I remember it to be a separate download when I bought this in dec 05.

  You must install Contribute to get installed Flashpaper. Uninstall contribute and flashpaper will bye... stupid, but what you can do.

  I just got CS3 but do not know if FP comes in or not. Have not watched yet. I still have installed Studio 8 but then is on since I know.

  Because it uses the Android operating system and there is no more Flash Player for Android and there will be another. Android is so more comaptible with Flash Player. Flash content playback is very non-rational processor and it drains your battery, also shorten the life of it. Android (Google) recommended "The Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to display Flash content with a motive under Android. They are both free in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use the rendering of the 'server-side' to reduce the load on the device.

  There are many ways, you might get close to this design, and understand some basic concepts of Flash can happen to you.  You could do each page as a new block of content along the timeline, or you could do everyone a movieclip that you control the visibility of the, each page can be a separate Flash file or the pages could be created dynamically using data resources, etc...

  Regarding the codification is going, you can use any version of Actionscript to achieve, but if you are not at all familiar with Flash, you would do better to try to learn what is current... AS3...

  You should start learning Flash so that you can get what you want.  Visit Lynda.com and try some of the tutorials or sign up for a course at a nearby school.

  I found my 6940 HP with power, which takes up and fires right cartridge like crazy. I did everything that I could Google to try to resolve the problem, several times in the course:

  • Power cycle, including remove the power cable from the plug
  • factory reset (report, press Cancel x 3
  • Remove/replace cartridges
  • move the rear cart & more
  • start without installed black cartridge
  • start without installed color cartridge
  • start without any cartridges installed

  I noticed your post about your problem with your Deskjet 6940 showing you lights flashing lights and working for a few minutes at a time before the return of the cycle. I want to help you as best I can. I see that you already have some troubleshooting.

  I have studied this issue and have found some documents of troubleshooting I recommend search and try anything you have not yet tried.

• Wrong version of Adobe Flash Player

  I downloaded Adobe Flash player 11,9,900,117 update 094 to 117. I use http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about to determine which version I'm running as well as the current version of Flash. I did it with IE Explorer. So I thought that I was present. So even if you are using Firefox, I ran check flash and she came back saying I was running 11,8,800, XXX > so I used this session of Firefox to download and install 800 117 again. Then when I ran adobe check, it showed that I was running the current version.

  There are 2 versions of Flash Player. There is only a version of ActiveX for IE and a version of the Plugin for most other browsers. To update Flash Player on a Windows system, you must update both. IE has a different way of installation and a different file that is recognized by IE to run in the Internet Explorer browser. OSX has its own setup program "DMG" - see below.

  You can do this by visiting one of the Adobe pages that offer update Flashplayer with EACH browser type, or you can download and save the "EXE" for Windows version ("DMG" for OSX) for each hard disk, close all browsers, run the installation programs.

  I just switched to a Mac and most of my documents have been moved from my old computer, but the problem also occurs with new documents generated on the Mac: the only book listed as an option to print in Excel is HP Premium Photo paper.  Plain paper or normal paper is gray and cannot be selected.  It takes forever to print a single page, even if you have the option to set printing and plain paper, quick project as default for the printer.

  How can I get rid of Photo paper or at least be allowed to choose the other qualities of paper?

  Just a quick thought, check the paper size is set to letter and not "without borders".  Also, in the change of Print & Fax settings to account for this printer is not "last use"

• LaserJet Pro M252dw: Paper heavy weight causes ghositng

  Our M252dw printer has ghosting (light versions of the printed item) each time we use card stock or labels. The same element of printing on plain paper shows no ghost image. Is there a way to adjust to big stock on this printer or another way to stop the remanence? The user must be able to print on thick, and I do not think that it exceeds the upper limit that I saw mentioned in some of the answers in the forum. If there is no way to adjust for thicker paper is a different model that will allow the adjustment of thicker stock?

• Mystery on 1606dn supported sizes of paper for automatic duplex printing

  I'm trying to find out if the 1606dn supports automatic duplex copy legal paper size, but the info is not in the user's manual, which just refers to "that the driver supports. Of course, I cannot and will not install the driver if I do not have the printer, so it's kind of impossible for me to check what paper sizes the driver supports.

  In any case, someone has this information, or is it a secret or something?

  Automatic duplex is supported for legal paper size as you can find targeted by the software's technical reference guide:

  a duplexing unit is installed and manual duplexing is enabled in the driver, the product automatically
  prints on both sides of paper types that are supported for automatic duplexing (Letter, A4, Legal, and
  8.5 x 11 only). For paper types that are not supported for automatic duplexing, a Help message appears
  prompting you to configure the driver settings for manual printing on both sides. Manual printing on both
  sides does not occur automatically.
