check the asynchronous process is running

Hello

A quick question: I have this program consisting of several state machines. The user interface can start these state machines (asynchronous) and send commands to them. Now, the problem is that I have to be able to check if a certain state machine runs or not. What is the best way to achieve this?

Kind regards

Wouter

I would have the FGV or the variable include a timestamp as well.

There is a property for VI node titled executiontate.  That will show you the status of a VI.  But I don't think I want to count on it.  He would tell you a VI is running, but maybe you are really stuck in a sort of endless loop which prevents effectively do what you expect it to do.  For your application, you would consider it's stuck, but according to LabVIEW, it is executed.

I would appeal to this method of guard dog where you update a variable that would be a cluster of a timestamp and another useful piece of information such as your current state of machines.  Now you will know what is happening, and you will know if they are too old.

  • Error initializing the asynchronous process

    Hi guys,.

As suggested by several messages and items, process asynchronous is preferable because of its flexibility. I'm very happy with it until I have the following problem.

We do fault handling on all our processes, using the hook and the policy fault. For an asynchronous process, we use another unmanaged code to return the fault. Recently, we noticed a problem. For some reason, every Sunday when the production BPEL server restarts, there are always a few BPEL process turned to retirement and offshore. We have already created a demand for service for it on metalink. But what causes another very serious issue:

The calling BPEL instance sends a request to start the asynchronous process. As it is turned off and removed by accident, the initialization fails. But, as it is asynchronous, the calling process is not notified, which means that there is no fault raised to the calling process. This causes a lot of trouble because we are not notified of the problem. This was never a problem because we had not the process stops and withdraws before.

This can be easily verified by a simple test case. Create a synchronous process a and process asynchronous B. leave a B invoke. Then turn off and retreat B. An instance can still be successfully executed without saying the problem calling B. If B is a synchronous process, a will always communicate a flaw in such situation.

Of course, the domain log file records this ORABPEL-02106 problem. but we do not want to check the log file all the time and want to be notified when it arrives. Is it possible to catch this exception/fault in the appeal process?

    Thanks in advance!

Aysnchronous by itself is supposed to be loosely coupled with the appellant. So the behavior you see is expected. BPEL persists the message invoke the message and Summoner of collection of discussions the message to process when the process is ready to pick it up.

If you need to blame either visible by the appellant - you can disable this intermediate persistence of setting low configuration in bpel.xml of wedged.

    Hello

How to check the MSDS 13.2 running MSD Agent (legacy mode) or TMS provisioning or extension of TMS provisioning services.

    Kind regards

    Siva

My TMS is strictly using Extension of Provisioning, because I am running 14.3.2 TMSPE is the only option for me, so I can't provide a screenshot.

However check you by going to: administrative tools > Configuration > General settings, look for the commissioning Mode.

That said, I suggest that you consider migrating to TMSPE if you have not already, that the recent version of TMS have removed TMS Agent legacy mode.  If you want to use the latest versions of TMS and take advantage of the features it provides, you will need to perform the migration, if not already done.

    I have P305-S8838.

I had some freezing problems earlier this month, and on the notice here, I nu start-up and reduced services a little at a time.
Now, I have a few more crash but don't know if it's a physical disk problem.

For example... I have run CHKDSK and does many things and happens at the exact same spot and hangs at step 4 file 5 3498 or 421168 processed.

I tried to run CHKDSK in SafeMode but tells me drive is locked and it will run when I restart. But the restart put back me in normal mode and get the same hang.

Now, for more suspicion of a physical problem. I tried to make a disk image with ACronis and same problem occurs because he says impossible to reading data 226 964, 072 sector and ask if I want to ignore and continue. I say yes to everything. Log shows he made about three of these attempts and crashes.

I ran sfc/scannow and it says found problems that he was unable to fix. The newspaper isn't so long and complex course that all means. I could send these log files if someone can help me understand.

I ran the test of memory OK.

I if I could put in DVD Toshiba and certain diagnoses, but when I put in the disk I get this big warning I'll crush, etc and I have chicken.

For this, I recommend the freeware tool called Drive Fitness Test.
It allows you to check the HARD disk for certain physical defects.

I think that when we are told to check all mandatory process, we have to check all the mandatory process...
Not use commands like ps - ef | PMON...

  • Value of the page element in the APA process not maintained after the send this page

Hello - I have a sequence of events that goes like this:

    (1) region 0 REG_1 Page is rendered before footer
-REG_1 region uses javascript / AJAX to call App process PROC_1
    -PROC_1 defines Page1 item PAGE1_MESSAGE for X
-After that PROC_1 runs correctly, REG_1 don't doSubmit()

    (2) region 0 REG_2 Page is rendered before footer; in this case
After the page sent by REG_1. (Requirements to ensure that)
    REG_1 has not yet reached)
    -REG_2 region shows an alert PAGE1_MESSAGE (= X).
-REG_2 region uses javascript / AJAX to call App process PROC_2
    -PROC_2 sets page 1 point PAGE1_MESSAGE to Y
-PROC_2 sets point Application DEBUG to PAGE1_MESSAGE (this is for debugging)
-PROC_2 defines the point of Application APP_MESSAGE to Y (this is also for debugging)
-After that PROC_2 runs correctly, REG_2 don't doSubmit()

    (3) after that REG_2 sent the page, here's what I have:
-Point application APP_MESSAGE = y. good. That's what it has been for PROC_2.
-Point Page 1 PAGE1_MESSAGE is bad. X. That's what he has been put to in PROC_1.
-Point application DEBUG = y. good. This shows at least that PAGE1_MESSAGE was
the value Y in PROC_2... but for some reason this value is not be kept
After the application process is running.
-There's that several other elements of the application located in PROC_2, and they are all correct.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? It seems like it should be
quite simple: set the value, send page, the value must be that
    I put it.

    Thank you
    Carol

    Hello

Exhibition (doesnot save session state), I am not changing who is P1_MESSAGE_1.

Why does that matter? Why does the hidden item behave differently?

Yes, Hidden Items by usually default state saves. But this isn't the problem in this case because I had changed the item to display only (state saved) and that did not help. Finally back in doesnot save state.

Try to replace alert (ajaxResponse); with the lines below

    $s('P1_MESSAGE_1',ajaxResponse);
    alert($v('P1_MESSAGE_1'));

Maybe the session state is defined (server), but the value in the DOM HTML (browser) to P1_MESSAGE_1 is not defined. If adding the line above works then the hypothesis is correct.

And I see that you made the source "static" assignment ...

Yes, I made this change, because it was a reference in itself I think it was redundant. And I had to correct what I thought is not just before debugging. Which cannot be linked to the problem though.

    Kind regards

    Concerning

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

    Thank you

    Afonso

The following WSDL allows you to check the status of remote process:

    http://servername: 8080/SOAP/services/TaskManagerQueryService? WSDL

    Steps to follow:

    1. with the help of TaskManagerQueryService , you can search your Instance of Process (with some filter settings).

2 get the ProcessInstanceRow from the result list

    3. check the status of the process of processInstanceStatus property

    Hope that helps!

    Suggestions for OS X maintenance

OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are supposed to take place on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Maintenance scripts that are run at the beginning AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep). If this isn't the case, then a great solution is to download and install a shareware like Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacronor Anacron utility that will automate the maintenance regardless of whether activity if the computer is off or asleep.  Dependence on third-party utilities to run periodic maintenance scripts has been significantly reduced since Tiger.  These utilities have little or no functionality with Snow Leopard or later version, and must not be installed.

OS X automatically defrags files smaller than 20 MB in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files it little need to defragment the hard drive.

Under no circumstances should you install operating MacPaw or ZeoBit software (CleanMyMac/CleanMyDrive or Mac Keeper, respectively.) You don't need special software to keep your computer.

Difficulty a few pop ups browser that supported Safari

Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.

An excellent link to read is Tom Reed Mac Guide of malicious programs.

Also, visit the FAQ XLab and read of detection and avoid malicious software and spyware.

Check out these articles from Apple:

Mac OS X Snow Leopard and malware detection

OS X Lion-Protect your Mac against malicious software

OS X Lion mountain - protect your Mac against malicious software

OS X Mavericks-Protect your Mac against malicious software

On the quarantine of file under OS X

If you need antivirus protection Thomas Reed recommends to use ClamXAV. (Thanks to Thomas Reed to this recommendation.)

The user Joe Bailey comes this equally useful advice:

    The facts are:

    1. There is no anti-malware software can detect 100% of malware out there.

    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect all targeting the Mac.

    3. the best way to prevent breaches the most is for you as the user is aware that

the most successful malware attacks rely on sophisticated social engineering

techniques preying on human greed, * and fear.

4 Internet pop-up windows telling the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on

your computer is designed to trick you into installing their malware thinking it's a

    protection against malware.

    5. some of the anti-malware market products are worse than malware

go where they are supposed to protect you.

    6. be careful where you go on the internet.

    7. don't download anything from sites, you know are safe.

8 avoid links that you receive in email, always be wary, even if you get something

you think a friend is, but that you did not expect.

    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume that it is malware.

    Troubleshooting Applications

I recommend that you download a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX, Mavericks Cache Cleaneror hiding a Cocktail that you can use to delete the former newspapers and archives, cleaning, etc. Corrupted cache, logs or temporary files can slow down the application or OS X crashes and panics of the kernel.

If you have leopard snow or leopard, then for similar repairs install Applejackfreeware utility.  If you do not start in OS X, you can boot into single-user mode , where you can run Applejack to make a set of routines for repair and maintenance of the command line.  Note that it takes 1.5 AppleJack for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. Applejack does not work with Lion and later versions.

    Basic backup

For some people, Time Machine will be more than enough. Time Machine is part of Mac OS X. There are two components:

    1. a panel of Time Machine preferences as part of the system of preferences;

    2. a request for Time Machine, located in the Applications folder. It's

used to manage backups and restore backups. Time Machine

requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the

    drive being backed up.

You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

    1 Carbon Copy clone

    2. get backup

    3 already seen

    4 superDuper!

    5. Synk Pro

    6. Tri-Backup

Visit The FAQ XLab and read the FAQ on the backup and restore.  Also read How to back up and restore your files. For using Time Machine, visit FAQ Time Machine of Pondini for help with all this time Machine.

    Additional tips

Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

Add more RAM. If your computer less than 2 GB of RAM and you use OS X Leopard or later, then you can do it with more RAM. Snow Leopard and Lion works much better with 4 GB of RAM that is their system. Most concurrent applications, that you tend to use the more RAM you should have.

Always have at least 15 GB, or 10% of the capacity of your hard disk as free space, the largest. OS X frequently accesses your hard disk, so offering enough free space will keep things slow down.

Check for applications that may be hogging the CPU:

    Before Mavericks

Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the drop process .  Click the % CPU column heading twice to display in descending order.  If find you a process that uses a large amount of time processor (> = 70,) then select the process, and then click the quit icon in the toolbar.  Click the force quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Don't forget to mention the name of the runaway process, so you can find the cause of the problem.

    Mavericks and later versions

Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the menu display .  Click the CPU tab in the toolbar.

This problem occurs often because of a corrupted cache or the preferences file or an attempt to write in a corrupted log file.

  • Windows Update cannot currently check the updates, because the service is not running. But it is!

When you try to run windows update on my win7 box family premium, I get the following message: "Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running." You may have to restart your computer. »

    Steps has been involved:

    1. I restarted and even restored to the point when the last update was installed.

    2. I verified that the service is running and checked that there are no errors in the the event log for this issue.

    Any ideas?

    PA bear,

I solved the problem, apparently, some of the dll files becomes involved in the process of updating Windows and just need to be reassocie but for the analysis patterns below are the answers to your questions:

1 Win 7 Home Premium installation

    2 64 - bit OS

    3 avast! Full version

    4. no other anti-virus/anti-spyware has never been installed

    5. computer was custom built by me, destructive disk used on a new HDD before installing it so that it wasn't a possibility of always being on the disc software.

    6. I left on deployment (I'm in the army) and when I came back my wife told me that the PC was not able to download the updates since November of last year, so she switched off and left to me when I got home.

Thanks for the quick reply, I was just in the difficulty that I used while watching a few messages on another Web site.

  • I seem to have in dual processes that run in the Task Manager.

In the Task Manager, I see the same process running several times.  Example: under user/Admin""(My name as) ","Local Service","Network Service"and"System"." "  These really duplicates and they slow down my system?

    Are they duplicates?  Perhaps.

They slow down your computer?  Depends on what you're trying to do.  Anything that takes your resources take the pool available for other applications.  However, if you do not run low on resources (your CPU has a lot of horses for what is needed and you're not missing memory for most) - then it probably isn't as much of a downturn as just all of the resources actually get used.  You won't slow until that run out you of resources and try to open something else.

If you worry about it?  N ° except if you have been compromised (you have a virus, worm, Trojan horse, malware any) and this is what is running - the system is as it should.  You are not running a single-user system - even if you are the only physical user.  Service accounts, etc. are there for the functionality of the machine as a whole.

    Windows XP...?

I have some tips that might help you optimize this system...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know usingGoogle (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 7 and 10 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

If you are comfortable with the stability of your system, you can delete the uninstall of patches which has installed Windows XP...

You can run disk - integrated into Windows XP - cleanup to erase everything except your last restore point and yet more 'free '... files cleaning

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

    CCleaner (free!)

(just disk cleanup - do not play with the part of the registry for the moment)

Cleaning the components of update on your Windows XP computer

While probably not 100% necessary-, it is probably a good idea at this time to ensure that you continue to get the updates you need. This will help you ensure that your system update is ready to do it for you.

Download and run the MSRT tool manually:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx
(Ignore the details and download the tool to download and save to your desktop, run it.)

    Reset.

Download/install the latest program Windows installation (for your operating system):
    (Windows XP 32-bit: WindowsXP-KB942288-v3 - x 86 .exe )
(Download and save it to your desktop, run it.)

    Reset.

    and...

Download the latest version of Windows Update (x 86) agent here:
    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=91237
... and save it to the root of your C:\ drive. After you register on theroot of the C:\ drive, follow these steps:

Close all Internet Explorer Windows and other applications.

    AutoScan--> RUN and type:
    %SystemDrive%\windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe /WUFORCE
    --> Click OK.

(If asked, select 'Run'). --> Click on NEXT--> select 'I agree' and click NEXT--> where he completed the installation, click "Finish"...

    Reset.

Now reset your Windows with this FixIt components update (you * NOT * use the aggressive version):
How to reset the Windows Update components?

    Reset.

Now that your system is generally free of malicious software (assuming you have an AntiVirus application), you've cleaned the "additional applications" that could be running and picking up your precious memory and the processor, you have authorized out of valuable and makes disk space as there are no problems with the drive itself and your Windows Update components are updates and should work fine - it is only only one other thing youpouvez wish to make:

Get and install the hardware device last drivers for your system hardware/system manufacturers support and/or download web site.
