Check the number of users and security

Gurus,
In our EPM (System 11.1.2) environment, we have four applications/databases (planning and essbase included) and I need to list the total number of users in all applications and see what he put in service and security are. How I might be able to do?
Do I need security on each of them for export and filter or is it possible to check the users in all applications at the same time?
Thank you

Is there a way I can view a list of users by Department?
Y at - it something like that to sort by Department/Group.
Thank you

List of users by Department - there are groups of Shared Services, are your groups classified by Department? If the answer to this is 'Yes', then Yes, the export of all shared Services groups will track children (members) in each group.

I don't think that there is some kind of Shared Services, but once the csv file is exported, you can sort it out.

  • How to check the version of windows and the number of bits?

    Dear Sir

    As I could not download and watch a video show, I was told to check the version of windows and the number of bits. I remembered the upgrade to version 10 of Windows when you are prompted before. However, when I clicked on 'This PC' to check the C:\ drive, it shows Windows8_OS (C :).  It is quite misleading.  Can I know how to check & confirm the correct version of Windows and where to find the number of bits as well?

    Thank you.

    Looks like you're on windows 10, but after the upgrade is not changed the label of the hard drive.

    Type winver in the run box-press windows key + R box simultaneously.

    If the Windows 10 Build 10XXX State, you're on windows 10.

    Simply right click C: / and select Rename and rename the drive in Windows10OS or what you want.

    As far as the pieces is concerned, the PC this right click > properties and see the following line:

  • Get the number of users connected to an access database

    Hello

    I want to develop a function that returns the number of users connected to an access database. I have CVI 2013 and the SQL Toolbox.

    Thanks in advance!

    ------------------------------------------------

    Hello

    I have a base on the network, and I wanted to develop a (CVI 2013 + SQL toolkit) function that returns me the number of users connected to this base.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks guys, unfortunately I have not found a SQL function that return the number of directly connected user. This is possible only on SQL Server.

    What I have is this: I created two fields in my database: a 'DB_is_used' flag and a "Username" field, and each user how want to use the database, should check these fields if it is empty, it inserts the name of its PC and use the database. Or, if the field is not empty, it will see a popup message displays the user name 'book' this database and the hedisconnect of him immediately.

    It works for me and I am satisfied.

    Kind regards

  • Programmatically set the size of a table control (not the number of col and lines)

    Hi all

    I am trying to create a little VI, in which the user selects the number of columns and rows in a table, and after clicking on a button 'OK', the table control is displayed in the control panel (to be filled in by the user). To do this, I use the nodes property to the number of columns and lines. I have no problem with that.

    However, I want to "limit" the size of the control table (control of himself, not the dimensions of the table) and make use of vertical and horizontal table, the scroll bars. I want to avoid it is that passes type 100 user and 100 lines and appears a huge table control.

    I could tho this by using an array instead of an array, via the node property "size", but I would use an insead table a table.

    Thank you very much

    Daniel

    With a table control, you cannot set the display size to be anything other than a multiple of a complete cell.

    If you are limited to a number of lines and columns.  If you want to resize with more control you also need to resize the control within the Bay, accessible via the property 'picture Element '.

    Another option (but seems huge exaggerated) is to place your table in a secondary and set the size of the secondary to the size you need and enable scrollbars for her.  It is not an option that I would choose but if it helps...

    Have it, your description of your user interface sounds not very intuitive.  How the user knows at any time exactly what cell they access if they have to scroll backwards?

  • How can I get the installer for my application check the operating system type and then install the correct driver type?

    I have a request that I wrote and have been use and distribute for awhile. The installer I created for this application is an additional installer to install a driver for the USB connection. The USB connection is actually a virtual COM Port. The problem is that the people who drafted modified driver setup the installation program itself. They used to have an installer that would check for 32-bit or 64-bit OS and then install the appropriate driver.

    Now, they have two distinct installation programs: one for the other for 32-bit and 64-bit. They let the user know their OS and install the appropriate driver. I'd rather not have to rely on my users to do. From what I've seen the creater Installer provides that an executable to be run after the application installs.

    Is it possible to have the installer of the application, check the type of OS and then run the correct executable file after installing my application? I think that I could write an Installer 'wrapper' that checks the type of operating system then executes the correct Installer. But I expect a better solution.

    Thank you
    Joe

    So, I make it work!

    The trick is to find a way to determine what type of OS you are using. The method I used was, indeed, read the environment variable. A buddy of mine sent me this link:

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/2401756/how-to-find-if-the-machine-is-32bit-or-64bit One of the phrases he bibliography the Processor_Architecture environment variable.

    It seemed like a reasonable idea. So I started to research how read LV it environment variables turns out, you do it by reading a registry key. There is an example of LV on how to read a registry key. But I did not know where they are in the registry. So, I searched the Processor_Architecture registry. I found it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Environment.

    According to the article in the link, this value will already be x 86 for a 32 bit OS, or something with 64 inside. I just check the response for x 86 string. If it is, I just run the x 86 version of the driver Installer. Otherwise, I run the x 64 version.

    It turned out to be as simple as that.

    I hope this helps someone.

  • License AnyConnect SSL - increase in the number of users

    I have an ASA 5510 with SSL 100 users license. I'll add additional VPN users - how can I go on the increase in the number of authorized users? Can I buy a license 50 users and they will combine (to 150 users)? Or I have to jump up to 250 users?

    I contacted Cisco and got two different answers (see above). If anyone has a part number, it would be great.

    Thank you

    Hi Greg -.

    The next bump in licensing for Anyconnect Essentials is the number of users of 250 max (L-ASA-AC-E-5510 =). If you run Anyconnect Premium is more gradual. Here are the part numbers and user account for Premium evasion.

    My first question is how do I dynamically change the number of vCPU and amount of a computer virtual memory when the virtual machine is running? If so, this may be achieved by writing a few scrpits to inform the hypervisor?

    My second question is, I can start a virtual machine in KVM with the number of vCPUs and amount of memory configured in the startup script. I don't know if this is supported in vmware ESXi?

    I couldn't find the answer in the ESXi 5.0 user guide.

    QUESTION:

    What gets the relationship between the number of blocks and coherent? How to calculate become consistent?

    You can see that your uniform is getting down to 6 to 12, is it not? Reading of the below thread Asktom.

  • Check the number of continuous Page in the Document

    Hi all

    It is possble to check the number of continuous page in the active document.

    Problem is due to the use of several "number and Sections options" in the control panel pages F12.

    No error: alert ("Pass")

    If an error in the sequence of folio: alert ("Fail")

    Could someone please help for my application.

    Currently replace all elements of the master page by using the following script

    main();
     function main() {
        var doc = app.activeDocument,
            i, l, page, j;

        for (i = 0; i<  doc.pages.length; ++) {
            page = doc.pages[i];
            if (page.appliedMaster !== null) {
                for (j = 0; j< page.appliedMaster.pageItems.length; j++) {
                    try {
                        page.appliedMaster.pageItems[j].override(page);
                    } catch(e) {}
                }
            }
            page.pageItems.everyItem().detach();
        }
    }

    Thanks in advance

    Check the code below

    main();

    main() {} function

    var doc = app.activeDocument,

    i, l, page, j;

    pageNumber = 0;

    for (i = 0; i<  doc.pages.length;="" i++)="">

    page = doc.pages [i];

    pageNumber ++

    Alert (page.name)

    If {(page.name is pageNumber)

    Alert ('pass')

    }

    else {}

    page.name = pageNumber

    Alert ("fail")

    }

    }

    }
