  Having a strange problem with firefox - simple click will not open links - always needs a double click (even one with a long delay between the first and second clicks) to navigate. This problem started a month ago. I have used firefox for years without encountering this problem.

  For others who may be in the same boat: culprit has been found - Webroot filtering Extension (v1.0.2.42). I use Webroot as my antivirus and installed their firefox search engine 'screens' results link extension

  I think it's maybe a recent update to this extension, which is the issue that I think I've been using this extension for more time that I had the problem... In any case, problem resolved once off extension. It's a shame, as I've found most useful.

• CSH - does not work in Firefox

  When I click on the link help in one of our applications in Firefox, help does not. Passage of the mouse, the status bar displays "javascript:;" (due to our being in an include file header, so we ask help using onClick:displayHelp() and then, by running the CSH help call the string in a JavaScript function called displayHelp). When I click, I get a JavaScript error or whatever that it either--nothing happens at all.

  Details: Out of FlashHelp, Firefox 1.5.0.9, JavaScript must be enabled, all the boxes ticked in JavaScript advanced options. Same behavior if the blocker is enabled or disabled. In a third app, FlashHelp starts fine in Firefox, but this system uses not CSH.

  I found a solution that works for me using the 'skin' webhelp, and according to me, should work with Flashhelp too: in the whtopic.js file, put in comment the last line:

  Tested in Firefox 2.0 and IE 7. Seems to work. More QA for me!
