Hello

As far as I know, you don't have the possibility to download cisco.com ACS recovery DVDs. You can contact Cisco TAC and they can publish the software for you.

Note If useful...

Kind regards

  • Cisco ACS 1113 appliance v4.1 - integration of RSA Securid v6.1

The Windows of Cisco ACS version seems to have the ability of integration with RSA Securid its listed in external databases. It can also support the SDI Protocol if you install the agent on the Windows ACS platform. I need to use a Cisco ACS 1113 but RSA Securid does not appear in the section external databases. This mean that I won't be able to use the SDI Protocol only available RADIUS.

    And Yes you are right,

With ACS, we need to configure using RADIUS, on ACS SE it won't work with SDI.

ACS 4.2 does not work with Windows 2008R2.  I had a case of TAC open about this, and basically, they told me that I had to switch to 5.2 ACS.   I've been doing demonstrations there and it authenticates with Windows2008R2 very well.

    Hello

Unfortunately, the only solution for this is the DVD of password recovery.

Once fixed, you can increase the car locked out amounted to something greater than the default value of Cisco.

  • Cisco ACS 5.6

    Hello

I wonder if anyone can help me? Our server team recently installed the Cisco ACS (version 5.6) on a VM server. I can connect to the Web GUI OK account using the account ACSAdmin. The team of the server informed me that they scheduled the same password for the CLI admin account as they did on behalf of GUI ACSAdmin, but I get "access denied" when I try to SSH to the server (with the username admin).

I looked at different messages and documentation, but it seems to me that the CLI SSH account can be managed via the Web UI?

Does anyone know a way to hack the account SSH, or should I just ask the server to be rebuilt? I can see some tips of password recovery, but this seems to apply to a physical server not a VM.

    Thank you very much

  • Cisco ACS 4.2: Question about the license...

    Dear Sir

When I started this project, we start with the demo available on the Download Center on Cisco.

We have purchase a license and we expect the CD/DVD with the license.

But... How can I convert the 'demo' to a licensed version?

    Should I reinstall Cisco ACS?

How the license is supplied, is a registry key? A small file?...?

    Thanks in advance,

Make a backup of the current configuration, you want to keep it.

System configuration > backup ACS > backup now.

Then when you get the full version, just run the setup and it automatically detects the trial version, and invite you, if you want to keep the configuration or not, checks to keep the configuration and move forward. And you'll have improved trial full version.

There is not the registry keys concerned.

    Kind regards

Recovery DVD does not give an option to partition the hard drive. You can create a new partition using disk management in Windows.

  • Satellite A100-999: the process of recovery (without recovery DVD/CD)?

    Hi all

Here is my GOAL: I want to reinstall the original Windows Vista as it was when we bought this laptop.

My PROBLEM: we never managed to create recovery DVDs (just after the purchase), always gave an error... today and to my surprise, I can't find any operating system recovery tool is...

    1. to the power of power off: I tried the button "0" (as read on the internet), but did nothing special...

2 - I tried then in the options menu (after F8 on reboot): FIX YOUR COMPUTER
Then (after choosing the Spanish language and the connection as a user), I tried to launch the WINDOWS RESTORE COMPLETE lo, but he said that no CD/DVD... (no current number with this = CD/DVD drive works fine)

3 - I then tried another interesting option: RECOVERY HHD (more or less like this, as I have in Spanish version)... Just a pop-up open (maybe on the DVD recovery) but without any touch of the process...

    More complicated now, isn't?

    4 INFO:
I could find the hidden partition and display it. It contains files and folders: a record 'source', 'boot.sdi"if I remember correctly... and maybe more...
=> I copied on a USB key and registered on a new DVD (and the image.iso of them as well) and repeat points 2 and 3 above, but nothing has changed... (the content of this DVD is read without problem on another laptop)

    => QUESTIONS:
-This folder and files (found in the hidden partition) means that the recovery is still here?
-Are there a special file.exe or the procedure to follow in order to be able to launch these files found?
(my ultimate last chance: order than the recovery CD of Toshiba, if it is still possible)

    Thanks in advance
    S.

    > I understand now that these files (hidden partition) are those used for the display of this special menu (after you click REPAIR MY COMPUTER) with the COMPLETE WINDOWS RESTORE, RECOVERY HHD...

    > Is that correct?

No, the small hidden partition is created by the Windows system, and these aren't the recovery disc files.
Toshiba Recovery disk files are placed (in general) on the D partition, it is not hidden.

    > So I guess I should have a COLLECTION case somewhere... but I read in some messages of this type of comment: 'the series A100 not fitted the HARD drive recovery partition ".

That could be just because the A100 is old series and drive HARD recovery was not available at the moment
As far as I know the series A200 and new series were equipped with recovery option.

    > If not available, I'm already so on this last-chance-step explained above? This means to order the DVD of recovery on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

Here is the link to the page where you can order a recovery for the EU Toshiba notebook disk series but I don't very well if you'll be able to order this disc don't due to the age of the laptop of m.

  • Re: Satellite C650D-12J refuses to boot from the recovery DVD

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite C650D-12J which has recently been ravaged by a virus and now refuses to start. Whenever he tries to boot into Windows, it restarts and blue screens.

I ordered the Toshiba recovery media as the most simple solution is to recover the laptop and restore the default settings.

However, when I insert the recovery DVD and choose to boot from the CD/DVD get them all is a loading bar that turns to a black screen with the white cursor. It's her!

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Kind regards

    Hi MrChris,

You have the same problem if you try to reinstall Microsoft Windows or just Toshiba Recovery disk?

  • Where can I buy a Windows 7 recovery DVD?

Although I made an image of the Win7 DVD system before my HD crashed completely, but after the installation of the new HD I get error message: PXE - E61: media test failure and "no image file cannot be found on this PC.

If my image is corrupt, where can I buy a good image file.

    Sincerely, Koller.

Original recovery DVD you can order on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

Anyway, if you have created a recovery DVD, you can use it for recovery image installation.
Your new HARD drive is correctly recognized and listed in the BIOS?

By the way: what model of laptop do you have?

    Hello

The seller tells you good advice. You should do it. I recommend you try a dvd - r blank of high quality like Verbatim or Tdk. You see, creator DVD doesn't accept poor quality, media.

A few days ago, I bought a new laptop Toshiba L650 12Z. I wanted to make the recovery dvd.

I throw the creator of DVD recovery and after awhile, it gives the error "the file cannot be read. (E:/sources / boot.wim Error Code: 020150-20-00000000) ' and the process will stop. I tried several times, with the necessary waste of DVD.

No one knows what to do in this situation.

  • Satellite m40x-249 "product Recovery DVD" in the other language

    Hello

    so, here's my problem

I bought my laptop in Germany over 2 years ago that I live in Poland
with her, I have produced recovery DVDs, German edition of course
but my disk got zero terrible and I can't use it anymore

is it possible to get a new one, not specifically in German, it can be in Polish (I prefer) and how much it will cost me?

and I can make my own recovery DVDs, I already installed XP from another cd, found most of the drivers I needed (from site Web from Toshiba) but still i find some:

    DLA V4.95BUILD490B69B
    InterVideo windvd 5.0B11.475 - I0203
    V8.02.05 warranty booklet
    manuals V5.16
    Save now V7.22BUILD720B80E
    secure module SD V1.0.2
    Toshiba zoom hook V2.31.0.2C

Anyone know where I can find them, I would be grateful

    THX in advance

Other tools are only additional software that are provided with the laptop.
This software is only available on the Toshiba Recovery CD and cannot be downloaded.
All Toshiba drivers are published on the Toshiba page!

If you wish, you can order the recovery CD of the ASP where you bought the laptop. In you case it s Germany.
Finally and most importantly the recovery CD can be ordered only in the same language.
If you bought the laptop in Germany, you will only get the recovery in relevant language CD.

I'm not sure about the cost but it must be very cheap!
Contact the ASP and simply ask!

    Best regards
