  Unfortunately, there is no good way to change the host name.   You can change the display name with EMCLI change the target, but below would be inaccurate, because it would still be the old domain.   Can you create a DNS alias so that it can still be used with the old domain?   Otherwise, delete and rediscover is the only way that I can see.

  I have a relationship 1: n between the two entities, say Parent-> child

  If the KP on the Parent is Parent_Id, the child then gets an automatic field named "Parent_Parent_Id".

  I want to name the field on the child (e.g. Daddy_Id), but could not find a way to do this.

  I put 'Name on the target' for Daddy_id, thinking that this would do the trick (it seemed obvious ), but it doesn't change anything to the child: there always Parent_Parent_id.

  I deleted and then recreated the relationship, nothing helps.

  What I am doing wrong? or is it not possible to do this (yet)?

  Note - it is sufficient, if this field has been created as DADDY_ID on the relational schema, but not even what's happening (even after the deletion of the table completely...)

  We have a deployment ISE using our internal domain for its FULL domain name (example: ise01.private.local). Now, we want to use for authentication of access as a guest and have noticed that the default redirect URL uses the FULL of the ISE Server domain name.

  It works very well for our business machines that we have our own generated certificates and internal certification authority. As we don't want a certificate, that the errors that occur for our clients, we need to use a public domain FULL name.

  Are we better off by changing the domain name used by the servers of the ISE, or is it possible to change the redirect URL to use a custom domain?

  I've heard suggestions that change the domain name is not supported, but I can't find another way.

  Mark,

  You already have a public domain FULL name pointing to your ISE?  If so, let's assume that you authenticate you if you use a CWA.  First creat a new profile authorization, under common tasks, select redirect Web (CWA, DRW, MDM, DK, RPC), choose the authentication method (in this case, CWA) and set the ACL to use.  Just below, select the name of the static host/IP and enter the COMPLETE public domain name that points to your ISE.

  

  From there, you can create a permission policy to reference the profile that you just created.

  Brand new to PowerCLI, I'm trying to create a script that will change the domain name and the DNS servers of my ESXi servers. I found that I need to update the Vmware.Vim.HostDnsConfig to update these settings. I created the following script and the following error.

  I guessed the error message that I need to a value in the host name, I do not need to change the host name. So I create a variable to remove the host name and place it in the $config. Line received host name but still a mistake because the variable is pulling more information that I need.

  When I insert the above code I have an error.

  You should be able to do easily by using the command "set-vmhostnetwork.

  I don't think that you can just write to VMWare.Vim.HostDnsConfig.

  Additionally, make sure that you clean the FND_NODES table according to the (how clean non-existent nodes or addresses IP of FND_NODES [260887.1 ID]).

• Change of domain in the CTS Manager invalidate the license?

  I need to change the field used in the existing CTS-Manager, but I'm afraid that if I do so, the license will be becomes invalid and CTS - Man will be unusable until I can get a new permit. Will be invalid license if I changed the domain?  I know that I need to import the LDAP server certificates and exchange news, but I want to assure you that I do not lose the license. I couldn't find the answer in the documentation. Help, please.

  CTM is installed on a physical server or VM Ware?

  On your question - change the domain name on the CTS Manager will change the MAC license, which would be non - I just tried to change only the domain name on my MC in the laboratory, and after it restarted, the MAC license remained unchanged.

  If you change the DNS servers, however, the MAC license will change - seen elsewhere on the field and in my lab.

  As a general rule:

  On a CTM installed on a physical server license MAC will not change if you change the name of domain/DNS.  It must always be the same.

  On CTM as VM, MAC license will only change if you change some settings.  The MAC license is generated according to certain parameters, so if you change those, MAC license will change accordingly.

  I still need to find a specific list to the Community trade mark as to what will change the license MAC, but it should be similar to the list of items found on the side CUCM:

  in a pilot project, during the setup of initial installation ISE, I configured a local domain. After installation, I then changed to use a domain name business resolved by the DNS server in the company, but even if the console accepts the new domain and the ISE GUI shows the new correct FQDN, I have problem with captive portal page resolution because the redirect url created automatically by the ISE for the CWA are still called the ISE with the old domain used in the initial configuration thus creating a problem to resolve the url.

  The only reason I can think, present at the client cert is always composed the old FULL domain name. As we changed the domain name, you must generate a new certificate and install it on the ISE so that CN must match the new FULL domain name.

  to configure ssh, it requires the creation of rsa keys, which are based on the domain name. If you are unable to configure ssh access without a domain name.

  No, by default it is empty. the domain name you set up on the router is local, it won't share/sync with any other device. so you can do until you want to.

  one thing needs to be noticed is that the rsa key is based on the domain name, so whenever you change the domain name on the router, you will need to re - generate the rsa to access ssh key.
