Cisco SKU or IDP description

Hello team Cisco,

Is there any tool from cisco for me to find a description SKU or PID?

For example, I need to be able to MySapce for a PID like SL-29-UC-K9 and then a description such as CISCO (SL-29-UC-K9) UNIFIED COMMUNICATION LICENSE for CISCO 2901-2951.

Have we not these tools?

Thank you

CCW would have that information.  Otherwise, Google is your friend.

For all Cisco SKU (Stock keeping units), the '=' at the end means a piece of spare or ordered separately article.

Without a '=' means usually the exact same item is ordered in a parent configuration - for example, a SFP as an optional part of a module switching.

They are exactly the same physical part.

  • Cisco IPS

    Hi all

Take over some jobs maitainence on IPS and it then, I need help!

ASA5510-AIP10-K9 with license expires a year. Motor still works well but no update of the signature.

    Question 1

What is the SKU for license renewal? can you please paste the URL linked here?

    Question 2

The IPS engine is version 6,0000 E4. Intend to upradge to 8,0000 E4 version.

What is the propper upgrade path? Should I start by 7.0000 E4, then followed by 8,0000 E4

or 7.0 (8) E4 patches are cumulative, so only need to apply the latest version?

    Question 3

This is the little piece of capture "display version":

Using 1032495104 bytes of available memory (65% of use) 675745792

system is using 17.4 M 38.5 m bytes of disk space available (45% of use)

application data using 48.4 M off 166,6 M bytes of disk space available (31% of use)

startup is using 45.6 M 68.5 m bytes of disk space available (70% of use)

Application log using 123.5 M off 513,0 M bytes of disk space available (24% of use)

The upgrade of the motor system will cause the IPS running out of space? I focus on the second statement.

    Millions of thanks to all

    Noel

1 as described in this document, you must have the support of IPS for your ASA - this is a service contract that includes the ASA equipment and software SMARTnet until updates of signature and software IPS. more commonly classified in support is "AR NBD" (Advance replacement the next day) and Cisco SKU CON-SU1-AS1A10K9.

    2. I think 7.0000 that e4 is the current version. You can upgrade to that (or 7.0 (8) E4) directly from your current version. Please see the readme file.

    3. your available space should be fine.

So, I downloaded the src and it built with the following parameters of the construction.
Windows Server 2003 SP2 (Standard edition)
    Java 1.5 update 15, Ant 1.7.0 JBoss 4.0.3SP1, PostgreSQL

However, I still get the same error. After adding a few log statements, I realized that in NewPlatformAction.java ("run" method), the value of the agent is zero [agent is created by calling BizAppUtils.getAgentConnection (...)] which causes the NullPointerException in the above stack trace [boss.createPlatform (...,...,..., agent.getId ())].

BizAppUtils.getAgentConnection () is essentially a block of code to check if the "IP Port string' is null or not and this string always seems to be the null value. I put some instructions to log in NewPlatformAction.java and BizAppUtils.java and have cut-and - paste a few lines of the log server below.

Basically, BizAppUtils jump the complete code block that is supposed to create an Agent.

I have attached a screenshot ' create new platform "UI of Hyperic and my modified source files.

I would really like to know if I'm doing something wrong or is this a valid bug in Hyperic?

I just want to add this IOS device to Hyperic to familiarize myself with how Hyperic manages network devices. My long-term goal is to add network devices in Hyperic via an API - so pointers (or the samples/docs) to an API which allows to add devices to Hyperic is also really useful.

    Hi Michelle,

I was able to reproduce using a fresh installation with no agent installed.  At least one officer has, on the same machine that the HQ server is fine.  We should apply rather than just displaying this message:
"There is no agent available to treat this platform."

Can you install + import agent and try again?

I get the error message "lacp not enabled on the remote port..". I removed the 2nd fiber cable and removed the channel group so I can get the WLC online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to get the channel of ether to work with the WLC, you must change your configuration of:

    !

    interface GigabitEthernet3/1

    !
    interface GigabitEthernet3/2
    active in mode channel-group 10

    interface GigabitEthernet3/1
    channel-group 10 mode on
    !
    interface GigabitEthernet3/2
    channel-group 10 mode on
    !

Mode IT is said the switch to Link Aggregation Protocol try and negotiate by using one of two LACP or PAgP control protocols.

using ONE fits in the configuration guide when you enable the option Cisco WLC LAG.

  • How to configure ACS 5.2 to manage the Junos 10.4R6.5 fwl via GANYMEDE.

    Hi all

I have a camera ACS 5.2 newly installed, integrated with our announcement and his work with cisco product, routers switches and etc.  Now I would like to include Juniper firewalls so to be authenticated via ACS 5.2 either via ssh and web access.  Can someone share me how to initiate this, creating policies.

FYI: I have 14:00 groups regionaladm and regionalops, read/write and read-access, respectively.

    Kind regards

    Marlon

    Marlon,

I stuck in a config below file I made for our ScreenOS Firewall work with Cisco ACS v5.2.  This configuration may not work because yours is Junos, but it could bring closer you reach to understand.  Also, if you have not been on the Juniper J-Net ask autour, give it a shot. Good luck!

  • SRW2048 and a Cisco 1841

I am trying to Setup VLAN between a 2 and a Cisco 1841 router SRW2048 switches. I have ports that connect the 2 switches to the other and the port that connect to router as junction ports. Because the SRW is now part of Cisco Small Business, it would probably be best to ask the Cisco Small Business support community. You find people from Cisco over there.

For SRW configuration, you added the two VLANS to your trunk ports? Configuration of a port in trunk mode adds automatically that all configured VLAN to the trunk.

The server has a static IP address in the DMZ LAN?

  • PC8132F to Cisco Catalyst 3600

    Nice day

I hope someone can help me here, I'll have questions, get a channel on port with 802. 1 q, working between a stack of 2 devices of the switches 8132F and a single Cisco Catalyst 3600, this switch series switch cannot be removed due to regulations graduates by a Government Department that works to and I need to put an effective link between the switch and our new 8132F switches (this was easy until the network was fully Cisco) but for the life of me I can't not operate. When I connect the ports (well I connect only 1 because I'm testing only at this stage, in the end, it will be two)

Here's the configs for two switches

  • Reference Dell m6220 aggregated at Cisco 6506

I transition my old 1955 Dell blade chassis to my 'new' Dell m1000e blade chassis to the House and I encountered a problem. I'm posting in the network as it is more closely related to one than the other available categories.

    Setup: Dell m1000e with six stand-alone m6220 passes (not stacked) connecting to a Cisco 6506. Each m6220 spans four Gb blades in the 6506... M6220-a1, port 17, plugs into 6506, port g1/1; M6220-a1, port 18, plugs into 6506, port g2/1; M6220-a1, port 19, plugs into 6506, g3/1 port; M6220-a1, port 20, plugs into 6506, port g4/1. M6220-a2, port 17, plugs into 6506, port g1/48; M6220-a2, 18 port, connects to 6506, port g2/48; M6220-a2, port 19, plugs into 6506, g3/48 port; M6220-a2, port 20, plugs into 6506, g4/48 port; the process repeats supposed for the rest of m6220.

    OFFSET groups: po1 (12, 17-20) to po1 (g1/1-g4/1); PO6 (a2, 17-20) to po6 (g1/2-g4/2)

All is well. the Television ether on the Cisco displays LACP is in place and working well, like the fact the same command on the side of Dell.

I did all the LAGS interfaces trunks and originally supposed to Dell was like Cisco while none allowed VLAN defined means all the VLANS allowed. I've since read that Dell default behavior is to only authorized WHAT VLAN specified. I've added the appropriate VLAN on the side of Dell.

Pings between m6220 very well work. Pings to the rest of the network the m6220 very well working. Pings between the 6506 and the blades are not.

The blades run ESXi 5.5U2 and I added two interfaces tissue management vSwitch. I first tried to make the m6220 g1/1 an access port, but that did not work. I tried making a port trunk and setting one VLAN, but this does not work either.

What information is needed to help with this?

    Thank you.

I'm done just erase everything and start over. Sometimes when you have changed all sorts of things, create a clean starting point, it is what is needed.

Daniel, thanks for the reply and suggestions.

Here's the configs that worked as I expect. I hope someone can benefit from my efforts.

  • PowerConnect switch and Cisco routers

I have 4 Cisco routers connected to our Dell Powerconnect 7024. This is a laboratory environment where I'm having every act of router (2 per site) as a WAN gateway for these 2 sites.

    Site 1                                                                                                                           Site 2

    2 3 router

    PC - Dumb_switch PowerConnect Dumb_switch client - PC Client

    Router 1 router 4

There are a few other Vlans on the switch with connected devices. With the current configuration, these two sites can communicate with any other "site" connected to the switch on each route, with the exception of the other.

Directly connected to the router interfaces are in trunk mode, as it's the only way I could get the dell to connect with the Cisco. Ive read in other threads that the general mode is usually suggested on the powerconnect switch, but had no luck with this configuration.

    Router 1---> item in gi1/0/15 (vlan 10)

    Router 2---> item in gi1/0/14 (vlan 11)

    Router 3---> item in gi1/0/22 (vlan 16)

    Router 4---> article gi1/0/23 (vlan 14)

Example: a ping from Site 1 can reach int 22 of the switch without problem, but I can't ping jump according to R3. As all the other devices on this switch can talk to these sites, I'm not clear if the problem is my config switch dell or routers. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You could probably create a static route in Router 1 router 4 with a priority which is better than the other options, so we're going unless the link is down.

I have no installation of STD on the cisco...  It's the first time I touch STD

I guess if I get BPDUS be seen his will start working

I had found a white paper before 8024f and stp, but as is typical I can't find it now!

OK so finally managed to do work. everything moved to STD.

There is a long and complicated why reason not to use STD wit pvst + (or anything else outside of STDs).

He ha with convergence and how stp manages the VLAN and the lag!

an I had install STD on the two end bang just worked

  • Problem using Cisco WebEx on Win 7

I try to use Cisco WebEx to use my home computer to get the files for the school. The meeting is set up at 100%, but whenever I try to access it from my Government computer, I get a saying that an add-on has failed. I tried, but I can't find the add-on responsible and if possible, where to download. The account I have is very, very safe and I'm unable to download a lot of things, so keep that in mind. Spent a lot of time trying to find a Web site that requires no download to use, and this seems to be the best. If there is more better, please let me know.

  • ACLog.dll missing killing Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobiltiy customer

I use 'Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client' on Windows 7 for a year now with no problems.

  • Cisco RV042 cannot create a simple VPN?

    Hello

I'm confused because I'm trying to set up a simple VPN (client of the bridge), but I can't!

A SSL VPN or an IPSEC VPN, whatever...

The RV042 firmware is up-to-date, and I try QuickVPN as a customer vpn (also updated...)

    My configuration details:

    I'm at the: 192.168.2.14/24

    My RV042: 192.168.2.250/24

And the VPN intend to connect to: 192.168.4.x

I am currently in testing... that's why I use private IP...

    so far, nothing fancy... Ok?

So I create my username for the test:

    User name:

    Confirm the new password:
Allow the change of password: YesNo.
    Active:

The user is created and activated...

For the test, I have disabled the firewall (router + windows 7).

A dnow, when I lunch the QuickVPN client:

    Then, when I have lunch:

    > Activation of policy...

    > Verification of network...

    > The remote gateway is not responding. You don't want to wait? [NO]

    > Disconecting from the server...

This means that, after activation of the policy, I am connected on the router (user status: active). But when he check network... I am offline!

There is the newspaper of the RV042:

If I'm signed for 7 seconds... Why?

    Can someone help me?

When I try with the built-in Windows VPN client, newspapers are filled just more... ^ ^

    Help! hour

Thanks (and sorry for my bad English ^ ^)

    Hello

    Please use our forum

Hi Skip my name is Johnnatan and I'm part of the community of support to small businesses. I ve seen your post and I see you are using Windows 7 and that you disable your firewall to test your connection. A configuration of the computer and the router must be in order to solve your problem.

    Computer

As you use Windows 7, you must enable the Windows Firewall and create 2 rules, also make sure that Ipsec communication is allowed, you can follow these steps:

    http://www6.nohold.NET/CiscoSB/Loginr.aspx?login=1&PID=2&app=search&VW=1&articleid=2922

    Router:

Go firewall > basic settings and

    Disable: Block WAN request

    Enable: Remote Management

Go to VPN > VPN Passthrough and make sure everything is activate.

I hope that you will find this answer useful, if it was satisfactory to you, please indicate the question as answer. Please note post you consider useful.
